Itinerary

Day

Day 1: Arrival in Ushuaia | The End of the World Begins

Arrive at Ushuaia Malvinas Argentinas International Airport — the southernmost commercial airport in the world, its runway ending at the edge of the Beagle Channel with the snow-capped mountains of Chilean Patagonia rising above the water on the far shore in a setting of quite extraordinary, end-of-the-world drama. A private transfer delivers you to your carefully selected hotel in Ushuaia city and the afternoon is yours to begin exploring one of the most remarkably situated small cities on earth. A walk along the Beagle Channel waterfront, a visit to the excellent Museo del Fin del Mundo, and a first encounter with the legendary Patagonian lamb and local king crab at one of Ushuaia's celebrated waterfront restaurants closes a first, deeply atmospheric evening at the southern extremity of the Americas.

Day 2: First Day on the Mountain | Cerro Castor

Your daily round-trip transfer departs for Cerro Castor — 32 kilometres along the spectacular National Route 3 through the extraordinary Fuegian landscape of lenga beech forest, frozen lakes, and snow-laden mountains before the resort reveals itself at the foot of the Martial Range. With your lift pass and rental equipment ready, the first runs of the day begin with the particular, exhilarating clarity that belongs entirely to skiing at the end of the world — the terrain ranging from wide open groomed pistes to tree-lined trails of extraordinary character, the views across the Beagle Channel and the surrounding peaks growing more spectacular with every meter of altitude gained. A long, restorative lunch at the mountain restaurant before the afternoon's final runs and the return transfer to Ushuaia.

Day 3: Second Day on the Mountain | Cerro Castor

A second full day on the slopes of the world's southernmost ski resort reveals the full variety and depth of Cerro Castor's extraordinary terrain — intermediate pistes of wonderful flow, advanced runs that test even accomplished skiers, and the resort's legendary off-piste areas where untouched Patagonian snow awaits those willing to venture beyond the marked trails. The resort's unique southern hemisphere snow quality — the result of its extreme latitude and the perfect southern orientation of the mountain — delivers a skiing experience of remarkable consistency and character. A leisurely lunch at the Morada del Águila restaurant, where the slow-roasted Tierra del Fuego lamb and panoramic views combine into one of the finest mountain dining experiences in South America, before the return to Ushuaia.

Day
4

Day 4: Third Day on the Mountain | Cerro Castor

The third consecutive day on the mountain brings the particular, deeply satisfying familiarity of a resort known and understood — the favorite runs revisited in ideal snow conditions, the hidden trails explored with growing confidence, and the extraordinary Patagonian landscape absorbed at the unhurried pace that only a multi-day ski stay truly allows. For those seeking the ultimate Cerro Castor experience, the resort's legendary night skiing excursion — a snow-cat ascent to the summit followed by a descent through the Fuegian darkness with only headlamps and ambient moonlight reflecting off the snow — delivers one of the most thrillingly memorable ski experiences available anywhere in the world. The return transfer to Ushuaia closes another extraordinary Patagonian day.

Day 5: Final Day on the Mountain | Cerro Castor

A fourth and final day on the slopes — savored with the particular, bittersweet intensity of a last day in a place that has delivered everything promised and considerably more besides. The morning brings the favorite runs one final time as the extraordinary Fuegian landscape does what it has done every day — stop you mid-descent with a view of such elemental, end-of-the-world beauty that even the skiing momentarily loses its claim on your full attention. A final lunch at the mountain restaurant, a last run as the afternoon light turns the snow to gold across the Beagle Channel below, and the return transfer to Ushuaia closes four extraordinary days at the southernmost ski resort on earth with the deep, lasting satisfaction of a mountain thoroughly and completely explored.

Day

Day 6: Ushuaia | Tierra del Fuego National Park & Farewell

A final Ushuaia day is devoted to the extraordinary natural landscapes beyond the ski slopes. A privately guided excursion into Tierra del Fuego National Park — the southernmost national park in the world — reveals ancient lenga beech forests, glacial lakes, condors above the tree line, beavers in the forest streams, and the remarkable End of the World Train winding through the forest along the route once used by prisoners of the Ushuaia penal colony. A final waterfront dinner of king crab and local wine as the Beagle Channel catches the last of the Patagonian light closes an adventure at the end of the world that will be extraordinarily difficult to forget. A private transfer then delivers you seamlessly to Ushuaia Airport — the mountains of Tierra del Fuego making their final, quietly overwhelming case for a return.
