Ushuaia: Escondido And Fagnano Lakes With Transfer

This trip had been very well conducted - but started at 9 a.m. and ended at around 3.30 p.m. Dispite this, the trip is a must and worth it.

<p>The full-day tour to the lakes was a very enjoyable trip. We saw scenery that was quite spectacular and had a wonderful lunch at the Tierra Mayor restaurant. A very pleasant day and many stops along the way.</p>

<p>It was really lost time. We drove only the highway to the lake Fagnano and back, 1 hr we spent at the lake in the restaurant and 2 hr in other restaurant for lunch. If you will go to Punta Arenas by bus, you will see the same. Boring tour.</p>

<p>Unfortunately the weather was bad and cloudy - lake escondido was really well-hidden! Haha <br/> Nevertheless I would only recommend this tour if you have more difficulty moving around or hate the outdoors (much of it was spent in the van). <br/> I would recommend some hiking and the 4WD experience instead.</p>

<p>Highly recommended for those who want a high level tour of the two beautiful lakes in Ushuaia! The tour guide was very nice and informative of the history behind the landmarks and we had ample time to take in the view of the lakes. The tour ended with a tasty dinner of lamb.</p>

<p>Tour guide was a little impersonal. The scenery was stunning but perhaps it'd be better to hire a care and do the drive all you need to do is follow highway 3, which is the main road, north of town and you're there. And you can make your own stops along the way. I was a solo traveller on a tour with no one I had anything in common with, so perhaps my opinion is a little jaded by that. Either way, whether you do this tour through Viator, or hire a car and head to the lake by yourself, the scenery is worth it.</p>

<p>The area is absolutely beautiful, but the tour was only ok. There really is no walking around. The positives were the scenery and a nice stop for lunch. The negatives included the tour guide only summarizing the information in English and not offering a hotel drop off (although the guide was nice and paid for my cab to my hotel).</p>

Almost full day excursion to the Big Island of Tierra del Fuego visiting its forests, Lake Fagnano and Escondido and eating Fuegian lamb and more in a nice restaurant. It is a very interesting excursion and allows you to visit those places. You don't do 4x4 but it's very good. In addition, visits to beavers, and endemic Patagonian and Tierra del Fuego forests. The food is very good, you can eat all you want at the buffet and as much of the excellently done Fuegian lamb as you can. We had a great day.

I liked the route through the lakes, the night before it snowed in the mountains and the landscape was even more beautiful, the lakes were very beautiful, especially Fagnano, it was brutally windy, but that is normal in the area, then they took us to Eat truly exquisite Patagonian lamb. Worth.

This excursion is recommended if you like landscapes because it is really what this excursion is for, the stops that were made at least in ours were at the Olivia viewpoint, at the Garibaldi pass then on the shore of the hidden lake and From there to Lake Fagnano viewpoint, in our case we did not stop at the preceptura viewpoint but at another one further away that, according to the guide, had better views.

Reserva n° 800950248, se olvidaron de avisar al guia o el transporte que nos pasaran a buscar por el hotel Monaco, después cuando nosotras llamamos para preguntar nos pidieron que vayamos a esperar al hotel Ushuaia lo que generó otro gasto, esperamos ahí, paso un micro de rumbo sur que nos dijo que no era para nosotras, me vuelven a llamar xq la agencia se olvido de avisar que subían 2 personas más, por lo que no pudimos hacer la excursion, estoy a la espera de la devolución completa o la anulación de la compra que ya me figura en mi tarjeta de credito

We visited Lake Escondido and Fagnano, passing through the Garibaldi Pass and having lunch in Tolhuin. All in 4 x 4. We had an excellent local guide, Gabriel, who explained everything in detail. Flora and fauna, history and present of each place. We visit the peat bogs, the beaver dikes and the base of Castor Hill, as well as the lakes. El Escondido is beautiful and the view from the viewpoint of the Garibaldi Pass excellent. Don't miss it.

We went on a hike, and it was worth it because the guide was so interesting!! If you go alone you would have to read first and get inside the area!! Very nice landscapes!! Valle de Carbajal, Paso Garibaldi, closed Castor and the huskies hatchery that is divine!!!

It was wonderful the day we spent, with very experienced people, resident years ago in Ushuaia. They explained everything about history and nature. And Tolhuin, with its beach of stones polished by water, more know the wonderful LA UNION BAKERY, with its owner Emilio as host, telling us its incredible story. A wonderful person. I was a delicious walk, the journey is not very long, the route is beautiful, climbing a piece of mountain range and seeing the mountains, the stones and the brown, red and orange trees was too. Going down to the beautiful, cold, silent lakes makes us believe that the planet Earth is a divine work. I loved the walk.

<p>la verdad que la excursión es un poco densa. Solo estuvimos una hora en un lugar Lago Fagnano donde paramos y pudimos pasear y tener un recorrido y disfrutar de la vista, despues mucho micro, tres horas casi para almorzar en un lugar que no tenia gran cosa para pasear, ademas de que nos toco un dia de lluvia. Bueno, conclusión, los paisajes muy bonitos, pero no me gusto mucho la excursión.</p>

<p>QUERO MEU DINHEIRO DE VOLTA!</p> <p>essa GRAY LINE ARGENTINA É UMA LADRÃ, pois EU PAGUEI para buscarem aonde eu estava, e não buscaram, mesmo informando para que eu deslocasse a 1km, eu paguei para buscarem.<br/> E a RUMBO SUR, que é a empresa que faz o transporte em ushuaia, busca em todas as casas, não importa aonde seja, a GRAY LINE QUE NÃO INFORMA A NINGUÉM.</p> <p>PERDI O PASSEIO E QUERO MEU DINHEIRO DE VOLTA.</p>
