Trekking To Ojo Del Albino Glacier

A great experience all around. This tour offers the opportunity to experience a wide variety of the geography and micro-biomes of Tierra del Fuego in a single day. While the pace is not very relaxed given the distance which must be covered in the course of the day and the limited daylight as winter begins, our guide Ezequiel was very attentive to the needs and abilities of our small group. The pace was not exhausting and there were plenty of opportunities to take photos. The equipment provided as part of the tour was appropriate to the activity and made the experience safer and easier to accomplish. Ezequiel gave good guidance for how and when to use the equipment and noted additional points of interest including a sighting of a swimming beaver around dawn and a detour to an ice cave on the return path. I appreciated that there was an emphasis on the safety and comfort of the group which can be a challenge with adventure type activities requiring some degree of physicality. I also enjoyed the homemade pumpkin soup which is nice to have on top of a windy mountain.

We walked into the office and the people were very friendly and willing to answer all our questions. They were very honest and accurate with the information provided. We did a guided tour with them to ojo del albino glacier. Our guide was very professional and kind. He had a lot of expertise which made us feel very safe. They provided all the equipment needed, transport and even lunch. Cannot recommend them enough!!

We took the 2 day tour overnighting at Titan’s refuge at Laguna Esmeralda. A great experience with dinner. Left at 7.30 in the morning for a 5 hour trek (round trip) to the glacier. You need crampons as you trek across a snowfield at a very steep incline. Mariano the guide was awesome. Very friendly and hard working. Highly recommend this tour.

The experience was impressive! Ezequiel the guide informed, guided, and reassured us at all times to face the demands of the trek given the unmissable weather conditions with quite a bit of snow. Excellent excursion. I did not know if I could visit the Ojo del Albino glacier at 17 years old but it was possible with this agency thanks to our excellent guide and equipment. (Obviously I had to be in very good physical condition to do it) so check with this agency first and you will not regret it.

I did this trek and the experience was amazing from start to finish. Everything was perfectly organized and the care in every detail was very noticeable. The guide (Mauro) was excellent: very professional, attentive and with a lot of good energy, which made the tour even more enjoyable. We always feel accompanied and safe. Enjoy a beautiful experience.The established schedules were met.The guides Daiana and Mauro with very good willingness, good vibes and attentive to each of the participants.In our group, at the height of Laguna Esmeralda a participant was not in a position to continue and ensured that she could return in safe conditions with other guides. The food ok, the chicken and vegetable sandwich was hearty and very tasty (delicious! The same as the homemade pumpkin soup (warm and spectacular mmm ).We were also offered snacks and fruit for the road. We had a toast with a delicious liquor. I would have liked to have been able to walk on the glacier but they explained that it was not safe because there was rock shedding. I don't specifically have something negative to say, maybe I would have liked to have had some photos taken from the company capturing some moments when we couldn't for security, for example in the "goat climb" but it's only a minimal detail. It was all very well!! At the end of the trip we were invited with beer / coffee and chocolates. Thank you so much for everything you have experienced! PS : essential to have good physical training and proper clothing.

I went with my old man and we had never done trekking in our lives, but we do physical activity and although it was suffered we were able to achieve it thanks to the help of the excellent guides that Titan, Steffy and Felix have, who were always there for us, with a lot of patience, the views from the emerald lagoon and the glacier a sight for the eyes that cannot be explained in words, they have to live it

Flawless everything. Guides Felix and Estefi geniuses, made a difficult road super enjoyable and fun. The albino eye is not easy at all but worth it.

Very nice experience to be our first trekking. For the time of year, we couldn't get anywhere near the Glacier. It rained all the way, the whole trail was chewy mud and it started snowing when we got upstairs. It was arguably more epic.

Beautiful experience climbing the Glacier. The route is demanding in terms of time on the route and as always, we must not trust, I sought to respect the route. The place is very nice, you can see how the landscapes change. Our amazing guide, very experienced and attentive to each of us. Excellent service! Tomi was very friendly and attentive, explaining precisely, and in detail, the characteristics and demands of each excursion. We chose the trekking to the glacier Eye of the Albino and Emerald Lagoon, the landscapes and the tour were beautiful and incredible. Really an unforgettable and magical experience. About the transfer was really comfortable and punctual (back and forth to the hotel) and about the food we got a delicious lunch. Our Mariano guide helped us at every turn, informed us about the history, fauna and flora of the region, and explained clearly the instructions of ascent and descent to the mountain, a genius! The guide Emilio is excellent, explained us about flora and fauna of the place and also to make aware of the care of the area, likewise kept us safe throughout the route and gave us many tips about the safety and use of the equipment The lunch march was very good, the agency appreciated me very formal and quite nice
