Beginning of the experience
Visit the panoramic viewpoint at "Cerro Jeujepén" where an "Argentine Picnic" of salami and cheese is offered with drinks and a glass of red wine. It is the ideal time to take photographs and contemplate the landscape, the turbales, and the surrounding mountain ranges.
Once there, we will head to the Laguna Negra Provincial Reserve to take a beautiful hike suitable for all, lasting around 45 minutes. To reach the start of the trail we will go through a path of adventure and excitement in 4WD Off Road vehicles. We will get to know the lenga forest, and even a developing turbal, in addition to active beaver ponds, always accompanied by the beautiful Laguna Negra, worthy of visiting and enjoying all year round.
At lunchtime, the experience is completed with a true gastronomic and cultural experience at the wonderful Museo Restaurante Raíces Fueguinas. Pedro and his family invite us to visit and enjoy the most complete museum of Fuegian collections in Argentine Patagonia, while they prepare the best local recipes with trout, lamb, and other regional specialties.
To conclude the experience, we will go to the emblematic "Panadería La Unión," a meeting point for Fueguinos and people from all over the world. They await us there to give us a pleasant moment as a group, with tastings of regional liquors and sweets of "Calafate", Orange, and Rhubarb, accompanied by the exquisite and unique bread of Tolhuin.
After visiting Panadería La Unión, we will visit the famous "Head of Lake Fagnano," the best spot to descend and see the lake from the best position. We will go down to be able to take photos and take the memory on the sign of the commune of Tolhuin.

Our tour guide Federico made this trip the wonderful experience that it was. He was knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic about the things we did and his love for this area was palpable. The forest walk with Paulo was beautiful and informative and he and his wife Sylvia were warm and welcoming. The hikes with Federico were beautiful and the pastries and lunch were delicious.
This is a great tour! Aneley has been my tour guide for the past two days and she has been amazing. She is knowledgeable and personal. I'm happy she is part of my Ushuaia experience!

Excellent experience provided by the agency. We did every day with Kaitek Viajes. It is not the first time I have been to Ushuaia, I have hired other agencies before and truly KAITEK IS THE BEST ON THE ISLAND! The guide was attentive to every detail and super knowledgeable in telling us the history of the indigenous peoples of Tierra del Fuego. I recommend Kaitek whenever I find out that someone is going, and every experience leaves my soul full of joy! Without a doubt I will always recommend them

Exceto o guia/motorista muito gentil, o restante é nada por muito dinheiro. Percorre uma estrada asfaltada de 75km com duas pequenas paradas em mirantes. Cafe da manha em Tolhuin daqueles comprado em padaria, só com doces e visita a uma chacara com pequeno bosque. O casal que recepciona os turistas na chacara é simpático e dão alguns informações sobre a vegetação. Bem intencionados mas uma visita bem básica. Almoço de qualidade duvidosa e retorno pela estrada de asfalto. Se imagina alguma experiencia off road pelas belissimas paisagens da Terra do Fogo esqueça. Preço COMPLETAMENTE desproporcional pelo que oferece.

Fue un muy linda y cálida excursión realizada en este viaje (Marzo 2023). Se recorren varios lugares, cada uno con su encanto muy particular. Hice la misma junto al guía Gustavo, con quien había realizado otra excursión, por ende compartimos charlas muy gratas, y su predisposición estuvo a pleno en todo momento. La caminata hacia laguna negra es muy bonita, ir por esos bosques tan diversos, es una experiencia genial. Almorzamos en el refugio de Toni. Un hombre muy simpático y con ganas de brindarme lo mejor de su gastronomía y conocimientos históricos. Me hizo probar licores, platos y un té de Ñire que estuvo genial. Me mostró libros que contemplan la historia local y tuvimos un interesante intercambio de anécdotas y experiencias. ¡Una excursión ideal para cargarse de buenas vibras y energías!
