Ushuaia is a beautiful place, our tour guide Noe was so nice and knew so much! The driver Guillermo was really nice. 10/10 would recommend yellow penguin for my tours in South America

Itinerary
Welcome to the End of the World, Ushuaia! We’ll be waiting for you at the meeting point in Ushuaia Port to begin our journey to Tierra del Fuego National Park, which is just 14 km south of the city.
Our first stop will be at the End of the World Train Station, where you’ll embark on a 60-minute journey along the last 7 kilometers of this historic route. This trip recreates the original journey taken by prisoners from Ushuaia’s prison to the slopes of Mount Susana, where they extracted materials for construction. Along the way, you’ll enjoy landscapes of lush forests, crystal-clear rivers, and unique natural settings. You’ll also learn about the region's first inhabitants, the indigenous Yámana, whose ruins are still visible along the route. At the end of the train journey, we’ll be waiting for you with the minibus to continue the rest of the tour.
Continuing our journey, we’ll stop to admire the stunning Macarena Falls before entering Tierra del Fuego National Park. Our first stop in the park will be at Lapataia Bay, where the Panamerican Highway ends, stretching from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego. You’ll find the iconic 'End of the World' sign here, perfect for an emblematic photo. Walk along trails suitable for all ages and enjoy breathtaking views of the Patagonian fjords and the pristine nature of the bay. We’ll continue to Laguna Verde, offering panoramic views of Condor Hill, marking the border with Chile. We'll also stop at Lake Roca, where you can admire its stunning views of lakes, mountains, and forests, a classic Patagonian postcard. Our last stop, and our favorite, will be Zaratiegui Cove. Here, you can see Round Island and visit the End of the World Post Office, the last postal box of the Argentine Post. Visitors can stamp their passports and send postcards with the famous 'End of the World' stamp.
At the end of our visit to the park, we’ll return to the Ushuaia city center, having enjoyed an unforgettable tour of history, nature, and unique landscapes in the southernmost part of Argentina.

This is an excellent way to learn about the area, and experience the beauty that is Ushuaia. Our guide Juliana was super! Very knowledgeable. Very personable. The tour was first-rate!
Well organised good pick up from ship for cruise passengers. Train journey was excellent. Unfortunately weather was not on our side for visiting the national park and kakes.
The park and the train were fantastic. The communication about the pickup point and the additional park costs left a lot to be desired.
Let's start with positives: great itinerary that covers interesting and beautiful places, great transportation, very good driver Colo (or Kolo?). However, the issues started day before the trip: we informed tour operator that out ship arrives at 7:30am and received message that they will be waiting for us at 7-8am. Later we received a message that the pickup time is 10:30am, this also assumed we are taking a later train. Given that pickup was now in front of the ship, we were forced to get out to the town and then come back or stay on the ship all this time from 7:30 till 10:30. We were not the only confused guests: first thing we did was search for 6 others in front of the port. An attempt to understand the plan led to no clarity with "we will go into park, then we take train one-way and then continue our tour" message from our guide. Given train station is outside of the park this was even more confusing. Furthermore, we never made to the park and instead went straight to the train station arriving there well ahead of the train departure time. From this point on the trip was pretty good, we got to van from train (yes, it was waiting for us at the other end of the train ride though guide was never able to explain this). Another issue to mention was the commentary by our guide. Not only her explanations of plans were bad, the story about everything we saw around was as taken from the elementary school textbook with endless articulated repetitions of few place names. Overall trip with a great potential but organization and commentary (especially the guide Claudia) needs lots of improvements!
We chose the Yellow Penguin tour because of its appealing description: the national park with three scenic points and the End of the World train. The itinerary itself was well designed, and our driver Colo was professional and attentive. Unfortunately, the quality of the guiding was very disappointing. Our guide Claudia failed to provide meaningful information about the route or the history of the region. Instead of engaging stories, we received only brief details that felt superficial, as if taken directly from the internet. The constant mixing of Spanish and English, along with repetitive naming without explanations, made the experience feel unprofessional and difficult to follow. The tour has strong potential thanks to its itinerary and driver, but the overall impression was spoiled by the poor performance of the guide. We recommend the company to pay closer attention to the training and preparation of their guides, as they are the ones who truly shape the value and atmosphere of the journey.
The person meeting at the port wasn’t obvious we were at the port waiting for at least 15 minutes prior to our scheduled time. There were a few of us out there not realizing we were all waiting for the same people. Finally about 5 minutes after the scheduled time the person waiting on us put up the sign for us. They had been sitting there the whole time. We were delayed waiting on people who had already been on the pier at the proper time looking for the correct bus. The lady holding the sign and the driver were taking selfies. Finally once we got going the actual tour guide got on the bus once we were outside the port and she was fabulous! Very knowledgeable and attentive. The tour its self was nice and really pretty. Argentina is a beautiful country!
It was an amazing tour; they were on time and picked us up from the cruise port. It was easy to find them, and Juliana, our tour guide, had a lot of knowledge. She answered all the questions the group asked, and the train was amazing.
A WONDERFUL day. Our tour guide was super informative and patient and helpful would travel with her again. And our driver was amazing Handling narrow, messy roads deftly and with ease. Trin trip was a blast, and the time spent in the national park was memorable. And they were aware of our timetable from the ship, so they had us back in plenty of time without sacrificing anything. Only recommendation is to do something the the bus floors. They were VERY slippery in the rain at first. They got better as they got dirty from all the mud we tracked, but they were a bit hazardous at first.
Our guide, Giuliana and driver, Pato, were excellent. We were met by the tour bus right next to the ship which was a blessing since the weather was cold, damp, and windy when we docked at the port. Giuliana was very knowledgeable of the area and its history and did an excellent job of imparting her wisdom. The train ride to Tierra del Fuego was unique and enjoyable. The scenery was breathtaking and I would highly recommend this tour.
The guide (Paulo) and driver (Cecil) were fabulous. The national park was amazing. The train journey was informative but fairly chaotic and seats not being fixed to the floor a bit of an issue! But the company have the monopoly on that and sell it well.
Great tour guide, Jackie, did a wonderful job and it was great seeing all the beauty in the park! We saw a red fox, hawks, swans, and geese.
The multiple stops in the national park provided a range of great views with a good commentary from our guide Jackie. The train ride was informative and fun. I suggest one potential improvement would be to let guests know the meeting time is the time to meet, three guests kept us waiting 30 minutes and the whole group then had a truncated tour. From Viatours perspective, whilst they make it very clear that park and train tickets are not included, it would be good to provide indicative prices. A number of guests were surprised at the additional £22 and £43 per person for park and train respectively.
This trip started at cruise port and we were taken to train station for our 60 min journey on a steam train to the end of the world and it’s post office. Very quaint interior and very scenic journey. Weather was grey and wet at times. The history of the penal colony and life of prisoners was broadcast through personal headphones. There was a stop for locals to sell their photos of passengers taken at station. We then went on to a walkway to take in the scenery. A nice day out.
We found the tour itself was quite good - the guide was very good our driver was excellent! Unfortunately, we did find the tour to be overpriced and not great value for money given the additional cost of the park entrance and train fees. The input on the fees is not a reflection on Yellow Penquin (as they were very clear that they were not included in the price of the tour) but rather the National Park itself and their pricing.
Our experience with this tour was really great. Our tour was operated by Yellow Penguins and we had a great bilingual guide who made the experience very thrilling. The walks through the Tierra del Fuego Park with stunning views of the mountains, lakes and water falls were amazing. We saw and learned about a lot of trees, flowers and the lichens and mushrooms – it was an amazing experience. It was very chilling experience at the Lapataia Bay and stand next to the end of the world sign. The train ride and the narration of the history and surroundings were amazing. The stop at the middle and walk up to see the Macarena Falls and see the park from top was awesome. This will be a tour experience to cherish for a long time for All of us.
Better than we expected. Efficient pick up; helpful and informative guide with good English; 3 stops in National Park with enough time for a brief walk around (Post Office is shut but still photogenic); fun and informative train trip with a stop enabling a short walk to the waterfall.
We did enjoy the train ride, but for the cost of this tour you could certainly do that on your own. Plus, you have more options as where to sit on the train (dining car vs nada). The tour of the park consisted of two 20 minute stops which you did on your own. The tour did not include the cost of the train ride ($45USD)or the cost to get into the park ($25USD) (the rate of the train has actually risen to $90 per person thru this tour) So basically we paid $234 USD to be picked up and dropped off. Absolutely ridiculous. Do not book thru Viator- go directly to a tour office or go on your own. No need for a guide at that price.
The tour is very nice and we got a very friendly guide. The scenery is wonderful and we would certainly do it again, however, we hired this tour to get off from a cruise and they were not clear with the time of port pickup and not all of us have internet on the cruise, so they should clarify everything very well before we run out of internet so there are no misinterpretations.
We have no words of thanks with Diego, Martin and the whole Yellow Penguin team. Really. At the last minute we were joined by two more friends and we were no longer getting tickets to the End of the World Train anywhere, all sold out... and yet they made it possible. We don't know how, but they made it. Thanks to that we were able to live the complete experience and take a beautiful family memory, of those that remain forever. The National Park is simply amazing: open views, a beautiful forest, and snow-covered mountains in the distance that look like they were taken from a postcard. All the time you're looking everywhere because you don't know which picture to take first. Our guide Sofia was super attentive, close and knowledgeable. He explained every detail with patience and good vibes, you could tell he loves what he does. Really, we highly recommend Yellow Penguin. Thanks for making it so easy and so special.
The experience in Ushuaia with Yellow Penguin was excellent. As soon as we got off the boat they were waiting for us with the Yellow Penguin pallets, impossible not to see and super easy to locate. Our boat arrived a little later than planned, but immediately we were coordinated the train schedule and everything flowed perfectly, without stress or runs. The guide was very friendly at all times, always predisposed, took pictures of us, explained a lot of things throughout the tour and you could tell that he knew a lot and liked what he did. The walk was beautiful and everything was very well organized. We would definitely choose them again and fully recommend them.
This tour was one of the great moments of our trip. Everything was very well organized and from the first moment we felt accompanied by a professional and attentive team. The End of the World Train journey was unique: incredible scenery and a fascinating history that takes you back to the past. The visit to Tierra del Fuego National Park was also spectacular, with lakes, forests and views worth every minute. Highly recommended, especially for those who cruise or have little time in Ushuaia and want to see the best of the area.
A service of another level from the boat to the end of the world 🚢❄️ Since we left the Sapphire Princess, everything was perfectly organized. Our guide, Martin, was coming on board with us and it was a luxury to have him coordinating the group from the inside. Attentive, of course, always one step ahead so that everything flowed without stress. The transfer, the train, the National Park... everything worked like clockwork. But without a doubt, what made the difference was Martin’s humane treatment and professionalism. A service difficult to find today.
An amazing experience in Ushuaia 🚂❄️ Everything was perfectly organized from the start. They were waiting for us at the port, at the foot of the cruise ship, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. We did not waste time and could enjoy to the fullest. The End of the World Train ride was beautiful, full of history and breathtaking scenery. Our guide, Sebastian, was excellent: very professional, warm and with a great knowledge of the place. A highly recommended experience for lovers of cruise holidays, like us.
Geht beim Bahnhof seht hektisch zu. Doch es ist wirklich eine Reise wert. Diese Landschaft ist wunderschön. Man sollte einige Zeit einplanen um noch im Nationalpark spazieren gehen zu können. .
The end-of-the-world train is a gem we discovered on this journey. Our tour was full of information and beautiful park postcards. We arrived recommended to this tour agency by a friend who had been at the Norwegian Star the previous season and told us wonders of this company and the truth that they did not disappoint, excellent!
We went with my partner to meet the famous "End of the World". Honestly Ushuaia surprised us since we arrived and the Park did not disappoint, completely BEAUTIFUL! Our guide Sebastian was a super 10! The train is very nice.
Beautiful national park, many different and incredible landscapes. The guide was excellent, full of information and very predisposed to everything we asked. Super recommend the service.
