A perfect blend of paddling and hiking, this full-day adventure explores the rivers, lagoons, and wildlife of Tierra del Fuego National Park and the legendary Beagle Channel. After a brief introduction at Lago Roca, launch your inflatable canoe along the lake and into the crystal-clear waters of the Ovando River, drifting toward the Green Lagoon. As you approach Lapataia Bay, scan the skies for petrels, albatrosses, and steamer ducks before stepping ashore for a hike through scenery considered among South America's most beautiful — winter bark, fire bush, and a tapestry of beech trees at every turn. Return to Lago Roca where a well-earned picnic lunch awaits.
Available: from May to June, only trekking. From July to April (Trekking & Canoeing).
