About Activity
Set sail eastward across Ushuaia Bay and into the Beagle Channel on this extended navigation along both the Argentine and Chilean coastlines. Along the way, visit Sea Lion Island and Bird Island — home to a thriving imperial cormorant colony — before stopping at the iconic Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse. The journey continues east through Paso Mackinlay to the highlight of the day: Martillo Island, where a Magellanic penguin colony goes about its charming daily life in one of the world's most spectacular settings. On the return, pass Remolino Ranch and the historic shipwreck of the Sarmiento resting on its shores.
