Great trip, Nice pictures, friendly staff. A bit confused about the return taxi home but that was solved easily.

Itinerary
After hotel pickup, board a catamaran at Don Eduardo Arturo Brisighelli pier to begin your journey through the narrow strait dotted with the Tierra del Fuego islands. Take a 2.5-hour cruise to admire rocky isles, glaciers, city landmarks and wildlife on the Beagle Channel, named in honor of Charles Darwin’s ship Beagle that traversed the gunmetal-gray waters in the 1830s.
As the boat heads east and hugs the coastline, enjoy views of Maritime Museum, housed in former prison buildings, and the End of the World Museum that specializes in the area’s natural and aboriginal history. Learn from guided commentary on board about the infamous old prison, now displaying a replica of Darwin’s ship, and Ushuaia’s origins as a penal colony. Pass by the serrated snow-covered peaks of the Olivia and Cinco Hermanos (Five Brothers) mountains looming behind the city’s industrial area. Amid panoramas of water, sea and mountain, sail past the Tunnel and Fique Ranch, and the Encajonado River. The boat approaches the tiny promontory of Les Eclaireurs lighthouse, a candy-striped beacon surrounded by colonies of rock shags. Perhaps under a sky brooding with clouds, learn about the SS Monte Cervantes that met its fateful end here in 1930, parts of which poke through the water’s surface.
Heading to the center of the Beagle Channel, we will encounter the Les Éclaireurs lighthouse. Built in 1920, this iconic red-and-white striped beacon serves as a symbol of Ushuaia. On one of the islands, remnants of the 1930 shipwreck, Monte Cervantes, are still visible, adding a layer of history to the scenic beauty of the area.
On the way back west, your catamaran quietly approaches 'Isla de Lobos,' home to hundreds of sea lions, fur seals, and king cormorants that resemble small penguins. Delight in close-up views of the mammals as they grunt, bark, and maybe even jostle one another to claim territory.
Continue towards Bird Island, where you can marvel at the diverse bird species. Observe the seagulls, the majesty of the king cormorants, the beauty of petrels, steamer ducks, and giant albatrosses, encountering up to 20 fascinating bird species along the way.
Admire views of Martial Glacier as you sail through Paso Chico (Small Passage) to return to the pier in Ushuaia. From here, enjoy transport back to your hotel.

This was an amazing trip. We saw sea lions, whales and a condor. The guides were very informative and the trip was well organized. The tour company even suggested we move our reservations one day earlier at no extra charge to us so we would have better weather. We were glad we did because the next day was cloudy and rainy so visibility may have been an issue had we not followed their advice. Highly recommend this tour!
There's not much special about it. A lot of People on the boat. We were lucky: very nice weather and so, we had many nice views
This deceptive tour company resells "Navigation through the Beagle Channel to the Lighthouse" tour from Tolkeyen Patagonia. Buy the same tour for much less from Tolkeyen.
The trip was well organised. and the boat was comfortable. The lighthouse, the sea lions, the birds and the penguins! Unique experience
This tour was exactly as we expected. We were picked up by Tolkeyen exactly on time (they contacted us with pickup time on WhatsApp). There was plenty of time at all the major viewpoints for everyone to get a good look and lots of photos.
I had expected that my highlight in Ushuai would be the national park. The Beagle Channel however was jaw-droppingly stunning. I recommend that if you have a clear day take an afternoon trip if you are there in early Spring. The sunset over the mountains is wonderful. I went with Tolkeyen and thought that the trip was well worth the money.
Amazing views! Very professional and accommodating tour company. I was picked up personally at my hotel and taken to the docs. Plenty of space for passengers to relax as well as see the spots along the tour.
Just perfect. About 3 hours. The guide is very knowledgeable. We got up close for great pictures. The weather was very nice. And on the way were surprised with whale sightings. Great for families.
DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS VIATOR OPERATOR!!!! They confirmed the day prior to meet at the meeting point at 9:30. We get to the meeting point to find out that the boat had already departed. We would have had to arrive at least 30 minutes prior. The worst part? I wrote this operator TWICE and the company actually running the boat also contacted them, but I never heard a peep from them. No apology even. Nothing. No response whatsoever. Basically, because they gave us faulty information that we followed to the letter we missed the tour. The local company operating the boat was kind enough to put us on another excursion in the afternoon, but this Viator booking? No word still from them. The tour itself was only okay because people kept standing in front of the windows where people were seated, blocking everything. We finally found a spot at the back of the boat outside where we did not block the view for other passengers. But it might be easier when you get to Ushuaia to visit the group of tour houses/huts that are near the port. You can choose the excursion you want in real time and not end up missing the entire thing because the Viator operator listing this booking can’t provide adequate instructions. I am extremely unhappy with the entire experience. Book with someone else if you want to do this tour, or visit the Tolkeyen hut and take the same excursion without the headache and complete disregard. I understand mistakes happen, but why they could not even apologize to me is not acceptable. They should give me a refund, but as I got no apology, I doubt that will happen. They didn’t respond to 2 emails informing them that they screwed us over
Tour that you will do once in a lifetime. I could see the sea lions and the penguins from very close. The price is a little high for what it is though. But so is everything in Patagonia.
Excellent! 3 lovely hours on a very clean boat with 3 stops by an exceptional Captain. The island had more penguins, sea lions and seals than we could count!! The boat has a small cafe and the entire staff was charming. Definitely recommend this event!! The photo doesn't do the trip justice - soooo much to see
A beautiful day, blue skies but too much wind. Not safe to sail so they canceled. Unfortunately I only learned it at the time of departure so it was too late to have a plan B.
I am very keen on this tour as I was able to learn and visit the historical Beagle Channel.... what I would add to this activity is some meal or snack to be included as part of the fare. The diverse islands are shown and commented in a friendly manner and there is plenty of printed material in the ship to be read and seen. The local supplier makes this tour a good deal for the visitors.
All in all fantastic day and experience. Beautiful weather and also a nice boat. Professional and super nice staff. Everything was great :)
Cruise was on time. Pick up and drop off are well coordinated even if we are the farthest hotel. Very nice cruise with English explanations of the history of the different places visited👍🏼
Great trip if you understand Spanish. We expected the guide to speak as often on English as in Spanish. Instead, she spent easily 80% of the time speaking in Spanish. Her English descriptions were short and terse.
This tour was a highlight of our stay in Ushuaia. The boat was comfortable, the snack bar well stocked and the bathrooms clean. What more could you want on a boat cruise? Well, we got an inspiring view of the Andes Mountains. One side Argentina, one side Chile. Very cool. Knowing that Charles Darwin sailed through the channel, gaining inspiration for 'On the Origin of the Species' was unique. The lighthouse while small and seemingly insignificant, plays a part in history. We went to the location of the major shipwreck. The Sea Lions did not disappoint...nor did their smell! All in all a very enjoyable 2.5 hours was spent on the water, sipping Malbec all in the majestic splendor of snow-capped mountains. Highly recommend.
Cormornts, sea wolves, faro, lots of people. Nice experience on a rough canal. Lots of cormorants and sea wolves. I would advice to take the 5 hr trip which inludes a visit to a Penguin island

This tour was amazing! Don't miss this one, especially if you are fortunate enough to be in Tierra del Fuego in shoulder season. You get to experience the wonder of this place without it being packed by tourists. Company was first-rate. Had a professional biologist on board. I would recommend using the photographer on board from the start. He takes all photos for the day, including 8 or 10 of you. The photos are great and, more importantly, you don't have to spend the day behind the camera. Which would be a shame in this quiet stillness. Put the Go Pros down on just this one. Highly recommended!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this catamaran cruise in the Beagle Channel in late October 2016. It was short enough to not tie up the entire day, but long enough to give us a wonderful experience in the Channel. The views were spectacular. We loved our guide. He spoke both English and Spanish although we were the only English speakers on the trip. He made a point of speaking with us personally several time throughout the trip, sharing some personal experiences.
We got very close to several islands and were able to watch the birds and sea wolves sea lions sitting on the rocks and swimming in the water. It was mating time, so we saw some of the mating rituals as well. The boat captain would turn the boat from one side to another so that everyone had a close view of the animals and lighthouse. There was plenty of time for photos and selfies. We stopped at one island and got off for a short walk. Our guide told us to leave the rocks, leaves, plants, etc for others to see. As we were leaving the island, another large tour boat pulled in beside us. The tourists on that boat began picking up rocks and other things, and putting them in their pockets as souvenirs. So sad that they felt they could take what they wanted.
It was a great trip and I highly recommend it. We took a morning cruise, having been forewarned that the afternoons are sometimes too windy for the boats on the Channel. The next day all cruises were cancelled in the afternoon due to the wind and waves. I would recommend going on the cruise the first day we only had two days there and taking it in the morning. If there had been a bad weather day, we would still have had a second day to attempt the cruise.

The tour was great with amazing views, staff on the boat was very nice and helpful.

Great trip. The weather cooperated and the views from the boat are amazing. A nice thing to do if you are unable to do serious hiking as well.

On arrival in Ushuaia I was told that my tour did not include the most important thing, the Penguins, so I managed to upgrade through the hotel. As the tour gets passed around from company to company, check in was confusing, this should be made more streamline.
The trip was great, full of info and great sights. Warning to those who get sea sick, the journey back was extremely rough due to wind, which apparently is often. 60% of passengers got sick. It was really rough!

I feel the tour name match sea lion island not sea wolves island.
The tour time had changed 1 and half hour earlier without previous announce by email. I knew it when I arrived and checked in the hotel. I hope the change of tour time will be told more earlier.

Magnificent trip to do with the family... we hired through Penguin Expeditions... it is a beautiful 3 hours... we were lucky enough to spot whales... we would definitely do it again... one of the best of Ushuaia
Indescribable. The place is beautiful, the guides are nice, I consider this tour unmissable. Outside the boat you can enjoy the view better, but inside it is hotter. I recommend the outside lol
I loved the tour so much that I went twice! It's the kind of trip we don't do every day. There's cold, snow, penguins, sea lions... and the special touch that the catamaran has with drinks and food, making the experience even more welcoming. I loved!
Speechless! It was so beautiful that we went twice! The view is stunning and seeing all those animals up close is like no other. I love the cold and animals, so for me it was very exciting. I will come back as many times as I can. Furthermore, inside the catamaran there are drinks and food, which makes the trip even more welcoming.
The trip is worth it, although there are too many people on the boat and the bathrooms are dirty, there comes a time when there is nowhere to sit because people leave their backpacks, which makes it uncomfortable. Hotel pickup is super convenient and the views it offers are very beautiful
We had very nice days We did the train to the end of the world and the navigation to the lighthouse The excellent albatros hotel
Muy buena atención por parte de la guía de turismo y de la tripulación. El catamaran es muy confortable y tiene un bar a bordo que ayuda a mitigar el frío. El paisaje de ensueño. Super recomendable
Very poorly organized and the price was far too high. You pay 28 francs for the same tour. Far too little information.
Very interesting tour, if it's raining, it gets a little disruptive but doesn't completely harm it. Attentive crew and guides. Very safe vessel
Nice experience, it's a shame that on this date there were no penguins, even so, everything was very beautiful, I would have liked it to be more extensive but that's another price
The excursion is unmissable!. You have to do the one that reaches the penguins!. It was my favorite moment!. The penguins are very cute and tender, they bristled my skin.. The one who reaches the lighthouse and returns is too short and much enjoyment is lost. There is a guide in English and Spanish. Unmissable!!
Nice tour with which to see the city of ushuaia and the whole coast from the sea which gives a new perspective. Visit to the lighthouse is great with the island next door with sea lions
Hello! I just wanted to know more precisely if you could get off on the island to look at the animals (penguins) up close and still be allowed to walk. Because I will be coming in March and would love to do a tour with penguins. If this tour was highly recommended, would have liked to do. Thank you for your comments!
Very nice experience the staff is very welcoming and the sights to visit very interesting I recommend
It is super interesting and I was delighted to discover the local flora and fauna, as well as the historical part. The only problem is that it is an excursion that is not targeted to the French (like most excursions). Everything is in English but we can see that the speaking time is shorter than the Spanish explanations. Another downside: people without embarrassment pushing you and barely apologizing, it was really difficult to be able to take a photo without having someone in the field of vision.
I liked it, I had been given mixed opinions. But I wanted to do the catamaran anyway. The reality is that you have to listen to the history of the canal, the lighthouse, the landscapes and fauna and ushuaia. It's entertaining, I don't think it's expensive and I was able to pay it in installments. If you go to the end of the world, minimally, do it and draw your own conclusions. Beautiful landscapes.
Poor travel agency! Forgot to pick us up at the hotel!!! The tangol confirmed they'd pick us up at 8:39 hs and they didn't show up. They only sent a Remi at 9:30 hs after other participants warned that we weren’t there at the port.
It is very nice to see the Tierra del Fuego coast from the canal. Very impressive, the island of birds, sea lions. Anyway, a nice walk to have another perspective of ushuaia
Very nice and interesting place. The catamaran carries a lot of people. It’s an activity with many people that makes it somewhat uncomfortable. Transfer from the hotel a disaster (local agency was Tangol). They arrived 20 minutes late, sent us a taxi that left us in port not knowing where to go, 15 minutes before the departure of the boat. We didn't have any contact with any guides. I recommend you hire everything with South Course.
The catamaran ride is very comfortable and the stop on one of the islands is also quite interesting. The possibility of photographs is an incentive for the experience to remain in memory
Cruise a little long 4h30 for sea lions, cormorants, lighthouse and penguins. Watch out for almost no penguins on the island in October. Nevertheless the ride is pretty, Good Service on board. Spanish and English translation. The 16h trip allows you to return with the sunset at 8.30pm. $3,800 per person.
... beautiful trip with very great photo motifs which - if you have the time - is very worth it.
A must-see for those who are in Ushuaia. I went in the afternoon. It is important to evaluate wind and rain conditions, because it is very cold in the catamaran. The beauty of the place is indescribable.
The offer of excursions in the Beagle is varied and for all budgets. In our case, we opted for a 2 and 1/2 hour excursion with the Enterprise "Canoero", which was recommended by the tourist agency I usually use in Ushuaia. The boat (catamaran) was the Franchesco. This last of the very new generation and with all the necessary security implements. The crew more than attentive and helpful. A very good Service of coffee shop, bar, snacks, cakes and sandwiches on board, obviously with additional cost, but with reasonable prices. A handy onboard Photography Service, which allows you to enjoy the scenery and forget to take photos. The navigation was impeccable, the boat did not even move and the landscapes you see are beautiful. A walk to do, however, it is advisable to watch for the forecast to do it on a sunny, or partly cloudy, day to take advantage of it in all its glory.
