Laguna Esmeralda (Trekking + Lunch At Refuge)

What a hike! We marched through to lake Esmeralda in the first snow of the season. It was a picturesque and adventurous experience.

Loved our day. 100% recommend this company. Be prepared. The trek is rocky & muddy in some spots. Boardwalks in some places. No worries. The guides adjust their pace for the group. There was just the right amount of outdoor interpretation. Lunch in the refuge is cozy & was a time where all trekkers bonded. A special way to end a 10 day trip in Patagonia.

I joined the Laguna Esmeralda trek with Lucas and had an amazing experience. From the very beginning he made everyone feel comfortable, especially foreigners who were new to Ushuaia’s trails. He explained the route clearly, set a good pace for all fitness levels, and always checked whether we were okay along the way. What I appreciated most was how knowledgeable he was about the area—plants, wildlife, the history of the region—and he shared everything in a way that was easy to understand and genuinely interesting. He was also incredibly friendly and approachable, which created a very relaxed atmosphere within the group. The trail itself can be muddy and challenging at times, but Lucas guided us through the tricky parts patiently and safely. Thanks to him, the whole trek felt enjoyable rather than exhausting. Reaching the lagoon with his guidance made the experience even more special. Overall, Lucas is a fantastic guide. Friendly, attentive, and passionate about what he does. I’d definitely recommend doing Laguna Esmeralda with him.

We had a great experience hiking with Carlos. Pickup was on time in a comfortable minibus. The hike was at a leisurely pace. Carlos was always making sure everyone in the group was comfortable. Lunch at their done was nice and the return hike was easy. We came well equipped with proper waterproofed hiking boots and pants/coat. This was important and made a huge difference since the trail was very muddy and slippery. If you take this (or any other hike in Ushuaia), do yourself a favor and closely follow the operator's recommendations regarding what to wear and what to bring along - especially waterproof mid/high hiking boots!

The best choice to explore Ushuaia! Venturing through the most beautiful trails of Tierra del Fuego with the CUATRO ELEMENTOS agency made all the difference! Breathtaking landscapes, top-notch structure, and a team passionate about what they do. I felt a total connection with nature and safety with the guide Nehuén, who knows every detail and explained it to us very well! I will definitely come back to make new circuits with them!

It was truly the most beautiful excursion we experienced with nature in full. Every step of the trekking was a postcard, and another and another....I must highlight the dedication of the guide Ezequiel Manzanares who took us to the Emerald Lagoon. What we experienced today was incredible!!!! Thanks to Ezequiel, the van driver, the company Titán 3 elementos, and my operator Martín Travel. My partner and I were moved.

Incredible experience, the guide Carlos very knowledgeable of the history and explained to us about everything at each stage, the incredible structure of the Domo at the foot of the mountain, lunch looking at the frozen mountain!! Too top!

We had the experience at Emerald Lagoon, both guides Mica and Kathe were super kind and friendly. We went for the experience with lunch in the dome and it was a unique experience, from the views, the journey, the food, everything! And the agency was super warm, then they invited us to stop by the office to share a beer. Totally recommended for enjoying Ushuaia. ☺️

Do not miss the excursion because you think it is very demanding or difficult.

The Emerald Laguna Trekking by Titan Cuatro Elements was amazing. Excellent walk where the Laguna is the reward of the trail. The support of experienced guides with rest in the refuge where we had a meal with right to wine is a differential of them!!!
