For ever grateful to German for helping to make one of my lifelong dreams come true. It is difficult to put this experience into words. This is no ordinary trip. It’s a unique experience in remote places, completely different from anything ordinary, which stirs the emotions. Only for a select few. Ideal for solitary souls.

Itinerary
Very early we will leave Ushuaia, after breakfast, where, after the pick up from the hotels, we will begin to travel along National Route 3.
We will take a short break to use toilets and then continue our march.
One of the main attractions of the day is the ranches located on the Complementary Route A. We will visit the authentic Pirinaica Ranch. With its almost 100 years of Patagonian production, it has wonderful facilities, which we are going to see. We are going to experience country life, shearing, as well as get to know workspaces such as the carpentry, the largest and southernmost shearing shed in the world, the ranch house, and the forest and environment that the ranch has. We will enjoy a breakfast in the style of the stay, with locally prepared regional products.
We will continue on our way to Cabo Ladrillero, where we will contemplate the capricious, authentic, and pristine landscape, where enormous stones of a particular geomorphology will surprise us. Furthermore, Cabo Ladrillero is a site of a particularity that distinguishes it. Then we will continue to our next attraction, the San Pablo Lighthouse (Depending on the tide conditions, the Desdémona boat could be visited first and then the hike to the lighthouse can be done).
Depending on the tide, we can make this visit before or after lunch. We will tour the outside of the ship, in its entirety, to appreciate its imposing silhouette that represents an icon for the region since 1985, when it ran aground after a journey that took it to the city of Ushuaia for the delivery of twenty thousand bags of cement. , with twenty crew members on board.
We will reach the top of the cape through a path. Once at the top, there is the old leaning lighthouse, and in front of its shores, the rusty hull of the ship "Desdémona" ran aground there in the early 1980s, giving it a dose of mystery typical of the End of the World, and as an example of the past of shipwrecks and adventures that took place in the brave southern seas.
After contemplating such beautiful landscapes, the time will come to taste a delicious homemade lunch prepared by Silvia and Demetri, the hosts of Finca La Recalada. The farm has its own ranch and vegetable garden, from which they obtain the raw materials to prepare the recipes that we will have for lunch. They will make us feel at home, with a 3-course menu with drinks included in a unique natural setting in the world
After all this captivating day, we will return to Ushuaia, where we estimate to arrive around 6:00 p.m.

Go off the beaten path. It was special because we did something unusual like visiting a lighthouse beaten by the winds and a ship wreck. Thanks to our guide Cesar.
This trip is a scam. I was not picked up and the operator would not return my calls. This despite communicating with me the evening before the tour. Very disappointed! My overall experience in Ushuaia has been fantastic.
Cons: When the group tour stated no more than 12 people maximum, we expected that we would spend the 6 hours round trip driving time in a van…we assumed wrong. It was 6 adults in a Chevy trailblazer. With the edition of a Spanish only speaking guest, our English guided tour quickly became Spanish with only perhaps 10% of the conversation translated to English. I could follow bits and pieces, but my husband didn’t understand much at all. Pros: the Estancia meal was delicious and the host, a former tour guide did a fabulous job explaining things for us English speakers. We enjoyed the walk around the property The shipwreck Desdémona was cool to see and walk around it at low tide. And we enjoyed hiking up to the light house. Tip: the bathroom stop in Toulhuin was at a bakery, fun to watch the bakers in the morning , and buy some of the fresh churros with dulce de leche, which were delicious.
Great guide & only three participants. The location is out of the way & parts require 4-wheel drive, so we had the locations to ourselves. Great for photographs not having other tourists in the shot. The scenery along the way was amazing. And a tasty homemade lunch.
Half of the experience is spent traveling by vehicle. Based on this, the experience may change based on who you are traveling with. I was a solo traveler, who got placed with a nice family from Argentina, so I had the opportunity to spend this time on practicing my Spanish and to learn more about their culture. Additionally, the weather was bad that day, so the vehicle provided us with shelter from the environment. The landscape was beautiful, and we even saw some guanacos along the way. The guide was helpful. While driving, he explaining to us the environment, the history, and what we were seeing as we drove. The food was nice. We even made an unplanned stop at a bakery on our drive back. Overall, the experience was enjoyable.
Were crammed in the back (third row) of a mid-size SUV for 7+ hours to go eat an empanada and fish with mozzarella. The food was great, but not worth the drive, cost, and discomfort. The abandoned boat is cool and all, but it truly is a waste of an entire day in Ushuaia. Go for a hike, instead.
This was a great day tour, our guide was friendly and inclusive, and the destination was spectacular. The food was simple but nice, we didn't have a campfire like in the photos on the tour, we ate at a little house / camping area near the ship run by a couple.
The landscape, sightseeing and wonderful food - thank you Silvia and Miguel, you made it all special - could be enough for us to recommend this tour. But the professional way that Jon and Tomy did their job - and much more than that - led us to consider this activity unique, perfect and essential visit in Ushuaia. It is one of the most precious memories we have as a family. Thank you so very much!
Beautiful views. One of my favorite tours in Ushuaia. The beach was truly breathtaking and I am so happy I did this tour!!
Spent the day visiting unique parts of Terra del Fuego. It was a long day off the beaten path. Every stop was unique and interesting. From enjoying cup of tea and watching the gauchos saddle up thirr horses at Estancia Pirinaica to walking out and seeing the ship wreck at Cabo_San_Pablo. Then seeing it from atop the point at the abandoned light house. Delecious lunch at Cabo_San_Pablo. Lucas, an Ushuaia local, was a fantastic guide, lots of information and stories. Great day!
This is a difficult review to write. The scenery was beautiful. The lunch was very nice. The travelling group was great. The driver was very nice and may have been very knowledgeable but his English needs much, much more work. He struggled, (a lot) and if it weren’t for the Argentine father and daughter joining our group translating we have learned very little on this tour. The drive was long and the SUV was tight! 2 men in the 3rd row, a large gentleman and 2 ladies in the 2nd and a large man in the front seat. We were disappointed in arrangement as it was unexpected especially for the price we paid.
I really liked the beach and visiting the farm. Great people on my trip and the guides were helpful and kind. I would suggest a picnic snack on the beach and to stay a bit longer there. Nice place to relax.
It was a pleasant day, well designed route for sightseeings, super nice service with professional tour guide, the provided food were so delicious. Everything is more than what I expected.
A lot of fun! Our guides (Lucas & Wanda) arrived at the hotel in the morning and we drove north towards Cabo San Pablo. We had a few stops at scenic viewpoints and restroom breaks before reaching a beautiful farm where we stopped for a snack. We proceeded down to the coast where we did a short (15 min) easy walk up the hill to the old lighthouse. After getting some distance shots of the ship and some incredible panoramic views of the coast, we went to see the lovely Sylvia and Miguel for lunch. Homemade empanadas, a steak, mashed potatoes … it was the best meal we’ve had since we arrived in Argentina. After lunch we took another short (15 min) walk behind the property out to the ship to take photos. I would highly recommend this excursion for anyone visiting Ushuaia. Great trip, great guides!
Excellent tour and a great experience . Our tour guide was great and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend
A visit to Ushuaia should go beyond the Park, the Beagle Channel cruises and Lagos Escondido/Fagnano. This was our third day with Germán - always interesting and informative AND OUR NEW FRIEND! - we discover Puerto Almanza -OUTSTANDING and now Cabo San Pablo and Estancias. We saw a different world of natural areas, ranches and beautiful coastline and Cabos. We saw a gray fox who posed for our pictures and guanacos as promised. There were many highlights - in their home Miguel and Sylvia were gracious hosts and fixed for us a great lunch with empanadas, unbelievable fish and mashed potatoes and flan (BEST FISH EVER- I would like her recipe! Please Germán); the walk by the beach between the Cabos; the sheep farm tour - an "antique" and view of the pass; and the old ship wreck. Again, an amazing experience that will be remembered - GO THE EXTRA MILE AND EXPLORE THE OTHER SIDE BEYOND THE TOURIST FOCUSED USUHAIA! We hope to return again and explore more. LJS
The excursion to Cabo San Pablo and the Desdémona shipwreck was an incredible experience. We went with my 82-year-old mom and we both had a phenomenal time. I want to especially highlight the kindness, patience, and respect with which they treated her throughout the entire tour, making her feel comfortable, cared for, and included. The driver Luis was excellent: very responsible, attentive, and professional, and he made us feel safe at all times. We also highly value the organization, respect for schedules, and the willingness to take photos for us. We are taking home a beautiful memory of this trip. It was a totally recommendable experience and, without a doubt, we would choose the company again. Thank you very much for everything! Cristina and María (from Jujuy)
Perfect. We are extremely satisfied to have participated in this activity because it was truly exciting. The places are magnificent, and having seen them without even a single tourist around, with only the sound of the sea and the wind in the background, was a real added value. The lunch at the estancia was unique: having had the opportunity to meet the people, listen to their stories, and learn about their way of life moved us deeply. Louis was a super guide! He explained so many things to us about the places, the geography, the flora, and the fauna of Tierra del Fuego! Fantastic person!
Excellent service, super punctual, highly recommended excursion!
Very good excursion. Luis chauffeur with the best vibe explaining everything. First we stopped at the Garibaldi Pass to take some photographs and know the history of the pass. Then we had breakfast in the Pyrenees room, where we also met on sheep shearing, then we passed by the St. Paul's Lighthouse, then we had lunch in the Recalda room, we were greeted by its owners, divine, very rich food. We visit the boat Desdemona, finally return to Ushuaia passing through the bakery Union in Tolhuin
It was a total and highly recommended experience! Luis, another chauffeur guide a genius. Franchesco, Susana, Daniela and Luis, other companions in this adventure, made it a wonderful day. Thank you for the attention of Sol de Kaitek and Maria and her husband, for the warmth of their hospitality in their stay.
The walk was great. Beautiful farm place; lots of wild and wild animals. Nature and silence. Learning in the field, contact with locals; a lot of exchange of experience and life. We love
Damian and Luis, very friendly guides. The experience was unique, the landscapes beautiful, the food in the stay very rich. I was very satisfied, thank you very much 💜
Excellent tour, always very attentive and knowledgeable guides of the tour, geography, in addition to all the information provided, friendly and considerate people
An amazing experience. It is to know another landscape different from what is usually seen from snowy mountains. Beautiful everything, the coast is spectacular, and the super cozy rooms, allows you to get into the rural life of the place. We could see during the trip guanacos, gray fox, woodpecker and other birds. The super attentive guide to make this excursion the best experience. And even made material with photos and videos of our tour. A genius indeed!
An EXCELLENT experience from many points of view. When hiring the tour the owner, Germán, was contacted, who gave us his accompaniment to adjust the details and thus accommodate the excursion to our comfort. The experience itself is very particular as it allows us to appreciate the heart of the island of fireland and to reach Cape San Pablo, where you can not only appreciate the emblematic Lighthouse and the grounded boat but also meet the beautiful and immense view of the Atlantic Ocean. In between the visit to Estancia and a very particular, personalized lunch, EXQUISITE dishes, prepared by Nely with a welcoming environment and a view of the sea and the boat not to forget. Our guide Gustavo also to stand out, RESPECT and PRUDENCE, Capacity (in covers), knowledge of the place and Service. All this made us feel a dignified impeccable experience to keep as a beautiful memory and to recommend for those who are lovers of deep experiences and to leave marks on our sensations and spirit. CONGRATULATIONS on what you do and allow us to enjoy. And my best greeting is....Let's go for a new experience for next year.
Full day tour as it is almost 200 km from Ushuaia. Everything is bright, different landscapes, lunch at Estancia La Recalada is to treasure, Nélida welcomes you with a cordiality and a level of food that you want to take home! The Desdémona could be touched xq allowed the tide, the inclined lighthouse, Tolhuin, everything so beautiful!! Guide Lucas a tremendous genius, I recommend 100x100 do it with Kaitek. It's 10 out of 10
Excellent Service, we made Puerto Almanza, divine place and Cabo San Pablo with Mauro, I want to highlight how great and cupid it was, of course when talking, fun and above all, giving space and time to enjoy the landscape, made us grill a great and unforgettable afternoon! Thanks Mauro for everything, thanks guys! Definitely recommended always! Walter and Nadia
Beautiful experience with beautiful people Mauro all that's right!! Thank you!! It was a wonderful day, love every landscape and every person who provided us with unbeatable care ♥️
I went with my 13-year-old son. The excursion exceeded my expectations. Not only for its landscapes, but for the warm attention of Nelly and its incredible food, also for the attention of our guide Mauro who told us details of each place and was attentive so that we are comfortable. Super recommended Kaitek trips, very professional and ready to solve.
The exc is long but worth it, some dream landscapes, visit Estancias, boat Desdemona and Faro San Pablo, super recommended.
The tour is very cute, worth going so far, the scenery is spectacular and the food delicious, a very picturesque place 🤩
Excellent day trip stopping in Paso Garibaldi, in Estancia Pyrinaica to drink something warm with rich sweet things. Then visit the old lighthouse almost destroyed by an earthquake and the new one next to it. And the vessel Desdemona ran aground on the beach 40 years ago and with access if the tide is out. Lunch at a nearby stay and back passing through Tolhuin and its iconic Kaiken Hostel on the shores of Lake Fagnano or Khami. ..
Hermoso paseo!!! Imperdible!!!nuestro guía Lucas genio!!! Tranquilo explicando, buena onda!!! Paso Garibaldi..estancia , cabo san Pablo, el desdemona, la comida riquísima en lo de Miguel y Silvia , crotalo a la pizza riquísimo!!!! En Tolhuin la panadería..imprnsada en ese lugar..precioso!!!
Unmissable walk, beautiful places!!! We ate super rich! Our guide Lucas a kingpin!! I recommend it..we enjoyed a dream day!
Great tour with some off road experience. Good stops and plenty of time to explore the area. Lunch good, selection needs improvement
Beautiful excursion provided by Kaitek voyages, where not so massive places of the province are shown, but which reflects how they live in the rooms. Also visit Cabo San Pablo, where you visit the Old Lighthouse that is old and half fallen, the modern Lighthouse and the remains of the Desdémona. The ship Desdémona, has been aground for many years and you can see the deterioration over time.
Excellent experience, highly recommended, well planned with an excellent guide and a vehicle according to the demand of the road. Of note are the attributes of the area of undisputed beauty, as well as the unforgettable lunch in the fisherman's house. I recommend this tour.
Amazing! We saw all the landscapes, each of them, a postcard. The lovely guides. Exhausting for the body and senses and absolutely unforgettable.
A very nice excursion to leave the traditional walks of Ushuaia, and to be able to know other landscapes that Tierra del Fuego offers you, which perhaps are not so well known. We went with Gabriel, who has been very kind.
Excellent experience! We had different stops to take pictures, tour, lunch and even had a tasting of spirits and gin. The stop at Tolhuin bakery on the way back, was the best to close the day with the best churros! During the day we were accompanied by Gabriel who was our guide, a genius! It made the excursion a super entertaining trip. Very attentive to each of the passengers and super patient 🙌🏼 Recommended!!
Don’t miss out on unbeatable scenery, accompanied by a country breakfast and a delicious lunch by Silvia and Miguel. There are no luxuries but the warmth, anecdotes and hospitality of the place are worth the 3 hs tour from ushuaia. It is not a highly promoted excursion but it is certainly worth doing.price $200 thousand.
A different excursion to less touristy and quieter areas of the rural area, rooms and rural landscape, located in beautiful scenery of hidden beaches.
The excursion was amazing! All the impeccable organization, Guide Santiago a genius was explaining and telling us everything a little from the vegetation, fauna, mountains, population, etc.
Excellent excursion! The guide, Gustavo, was very friendly at all times with us. Super recommended. Unique landscapes!
I spent 6 days in Ushuaia. I took several tours on my own. They were excellent. I just hired Beagle Channel Navigation and to end the trip Cabo San Pablo and Estancia Pirinaica. I was really looking forward to this trip. What was in the description was not fulfilled. There was no walk at the Lighthouse. Bread and jam were served at the resort and nothing else. There was no visit, no stopping to take photos there, to find out how it works. Lunch took too long at the restaurant. Wasted time. Not to mention the 4x4 packed with 7 people which made it difficult to even see the landscapes depending on where you were. Expensive tour for what was offered. Tuff that was done I could have done on my rental car. You don't need to be 4x4 to get there at least today 04/01/24. Ordinary cars were there and enjoyed it better than the 6 people who were in a 4x4.
Excellent excursion, highly recommended. Gustavo our super friendly and impeccable guide. Kaitek a great company!
The excursion to Cabo San Pablo was wonderful and not to be missed. The Landscapes, Viewpoints, Stays and the company of Guide Gustavo made the experience unforgettable. We went through everything very calmly. We were able to stop to take photos of the Guanacos and landscapes, we finished with a delicious lunch in front of the Desdemona Boat in a Beautiful Estancia. I recommend it
Hello!!! We are Tania and Jesús Maria from Paraguay!!! We would like to thank you for the excursion provided to Cabo San Pablo!!! By far one of the best with the accompaniment of LUCAS!! Who was our guide!!! A boss!!!! He accompanied us in an exceptional, unique way!!! It really was a beautiful excursion where we were able to enjoy every moment of the excursion to the fullest!!! The views, the places, the nature, the Desdemona, the Lighthouse and the food without equal!!! It will be forever recorded in our retinas!!! We will recommend it to our friends!!! A trip that you cannot miss if you go to Ushuaia!!!
