I don't recommend this company. Let me start with pros since cons far out weight those. Pros: * we did get to the lighthouse, saw a few sea lions and cormorans, and had a short hike in an island with some flora. Cons: * Very unsafe boat, water was bumpy during the sail, but there were no places to hold on to inside. We saw a couple of people falling to the floor, one of the passangers hit his head and broke his phone. The rails outside were very low, I could easily fall into the cold water if not extremely careful. I was sure I was going to fall on the water or drop my phone during sightseeing. No safety instructions were presented at all. * Guide was friendly, but seemed very detached. Half the boat was of non-spanish speakers, and even though they ask for your tour language on the form when booking, that was totally ignored. The guide only spoke a very fast Spanish, that we could barely understand. She also left us in the dark during most of the expedition. We weren't briefed about what to expect and when. At one point she did lay down some maps and pictures on the table of the boat and explained some things, but we couldn't understand any of it. * The boat crew looked pretty uninviting and unfriendly. * Boring experience overall. We spent most of the time in the boat. The first stop wasn't before 2 hours after leaving Ushuaia port. We did see the lighthouse briefly, then stopped on an island with only some flora for a short walk, re-boarded and after a while stopped close to an island with sea lions and cormorans. This last was the best part, but was quite short, and the boat didn't help with making it safe to take pictures outside. * Booking ticket instructed us to arrive 30 minutes early for a "presentation". That didn't happen, we just had to wait that time pass until they finally called us on-board. * Value for money was pretty terrible, wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Amazing experience exploring the Beagle Channel! Beautiful landscapes, stunning views, and a great opportunity to see Ushuaia from the water. The tour was memorable and definitely worth it. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ushuaia!
Very nice experience traveling across the Beagle channel and visiting the lighthouse. The tour guides were knowledgeable and shared much information about the history and living creatures. Definitely worth a try in Ushuaia.
The tour is overall excellent! The tour guide is very nice and friendly. We are the only English-speaking people in the group but the tour guide is very patient and gave us separate and detailed introductions.
Great trip along beagle channel. Great to go in the snowy weather. Guide was amazing. We were the only English speaking people on the tour but she was really good at making sure we did not get left out. She even got us involved with other guests when we had discussions about how we celebrated Christmas in our home country.
Fantastic experience with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. I definitely appreciated the small group nature provided by this company, compared to the other boat we saw (from afar) at Isla Bridges with dozens and dozens of passengers.
The ride was pleasant, the guide excellent, the mini trekking a wast of time, in general very good. It is a bit pricey.
Beautiful views of the Beagle Channel and wildlife. I felt safe and well taken care of by the crew and my guide Christian. Christian explained everything well and checked in multiple times to make sure I was ok & if I had any questions or needed any recommendations for the remaining time I had left in Ushuaia. This was much appreciated 😁
The mini trekking was a waste but the general experience was great
The cruise was very nice. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable of the surroundings. The boat was cozy and warm in the inside and we were fortunate enough to catch a day with calm sea
Great trip in a medium size boat with no many people which makes everything much better, the tour person was very knowledgeable and friendly and the stop on one of the islands to take pictures was really good.
We saw such breathtaking scenery and so many animals. The guide had the perfect blend of leaving us alone to enjoy and breaking in to teach us about what we were seeing. The trip felt exactly the right length. The boat was just the right size and we loved being able to move inside and outside at will to see everything. So glad we chose this tour! We saw an Andean condor and a humpback whale! An extra touch was the guide provided books for us to look up more information about the animals or plants, even the “fingerprint” tails of the whales we saw.
This was the highlight of our time in Ushuaia! We were lucky to have excellent weather, and an excellent guide. Cristian provided a lot of interesting information, and our boat captain and crew did a great job. Highly recommend, maybe you'll be lucky and see a whale like we did!
This was my second time with these folks and it didn't disappoint. Very professionally done and great guides. I would even do it again.
This trip was absolutely stunning. One of the best trips I have ever made (and I did a lot) in terms of action, hospitality and kindness of the crew. They are really flexible and amend the route to the convenience of the participants if needed. For example I spotted some whales a few hours before the trip and asked if there is a way to see them, which resulted in an entirely change of the route, so that we did go to that spot first (and saw the whales :). Captain and crew were totally kind and spoke good English. All in all an absolute recommendation.
I had the most amazing time. The crew were very friendly and our main guide spoke good English. He showed us pictures of the local wildlife and was very friendly. We got some great photos and up close and personal with the sea lions and lighthouse. Beautiful view of the city on our mini trek. Very reasonably priced, and there were even hot drinks. I wouldn't change a thing!
This tour through the Beagle Channel was absolutely extraordinary. We saw six whales, a bunch of sea lions, and even a few penguins, which is rare at this time of year! The weather made the experience even more enjoyable, as the sea was practically flat the entire time. When we spotted the whales, the captain quietly followed them so we could see them up close — a thoughtful touch that made the encounter unforgettable. The tour was very informative, and the trekking portion was beautiful too. This was easily the highlight of my trip. Highly recommend!
Seeing the sea lions up close was already a highlight, but the real bonus was spotting whales along the way back. It was the perfect end to an incredible day.
This tour is the best. Small and cozy boat. Our guide Luciana is and was amazing, very lively and informative. Also great crew on the boat. Really recommending this trip. Thank you
Small group so not run of the mill - they changed the itinerary for us to be able to follow a humpback whale. Brilliant guide and team
Great guide, fun day on the water! Saw many animals, whales, penguins, sea lions. Fully recommend this tour!
Excellent experience. Guide was very knowledgeable and patient. Nice small hike on one of the islands. Hot tea and coffee on board was welcome in the cold.
Excellent experience and very scenic trip - the kids enjoyed seeing the sea lions and the unexpected humpback whale.
Very nice tour. The guide Chris was very friendly and explained us lots of stuff. For the two of us he even translated almost everything in English seperately bevause everybody else spoke Spanish. We saw lots of wildlife. The boat and the groups is small which is a big plus for me.
Outstanding views, number of wildlife that we saw is insane, recommend this tour to everyone, great tour agency
Even though it rained at first, the trip ended up being totally beautiful and we even got to see some whales. Luciana is such an amazing person and you can really tell she loves her work. Her energy is great and she shared so many interesting facts using some really cool maps to explain everything. Honestly, she is so good at what she does that she should definitely start her own business! She’s just incredible, from her storytelling and language skills to her genuine passion for nature and people. If you have the chance to go on a tour with her, definitely go for it.
Absolutely fantastic excursion. Can't say enough good things about the crew, especially our guide Juan Pablo... he's the absolute best! Small group size also created a very nice atmosphere and everyone was chatting with one another by the end of the cruise.
Punctual start and arrival, excellent English, a lot of history and geographical knowledge, smaller groups which is much better in fact, tasty hot chocolate, many different sea animals and the famous light tower to see plus a walk on a kind of an island I’ve enjoyed every minute. Greatly recommendable!
We traveled to Antarctica prior to the tour so we thought we had enough of wildlife, but clearly we thought wrong. During the trip, we were lucky enough to see whales, so many birds and sea lions, and a lot of dolphins. The dolphins were following the boat and were gliding and jumping right next to us. Such a magical experience! The itinerary was good and well balanced, the group size is perfect - there is room to roam around the boat, and our guide Christiano was really knowledgeable.
It was such a great experience! We saw a lot of animals even whales, I can recommend it for everyone.
Amazing experience. Worth every penny. Our guide was Cristian, a lovely person and very knowledgeable about the area.
A great few hours out in the Channel. Sea Lions, cormorants, whales and albatross were seen. Great guide who was very informative and engaged.
Excellent boat excursion. 4 hour tour was perfect with very enjoyable itinerary. The small boat (22 ppl) made for an uncrowded experience. Our guide was very engaging and quite knowledgeable.
A great trip with a really lovely and knowledgeable guide. Saw loads of wildlife.
About 25 of us headed out on a nice sized boat into the Beagle Channel where we saw many types of birds including hundred of cormorants, lots of fur seals up close, multiple whale spotting, a few Magellanic penguins, and the views were spectacular. There’s plenty of space up front and on top to be outside, plus plenty of seating inside for warmth and a break from the wind. We also stopped and walked on an island with fantastic views and interesting plants. Naturalist Christian was extremely knowledgeable, pointing out things to see and providing some history. Captain Christian was also fantastic as he kept us from other boats. We only saw/came close to one other while out (I was so pleasantly surprised by this), making our views and overall experience even better. I would recommend this tour.
If you have half a day to kill, this is an excellent trip. I think our trip went longer than that. Booth to check-in is on the water-front and easy to find, we spotted sei and hump back whales, albatross and cormorants everywhere, a sea lion colony, the famous lighthouse and a nature walk-on an island with stunning views of ushuaia and the Andes. Tour guide was very knowledgeable of the channel and its history. I would definitely do this trip again.
We had a lovely tour! The guide spoke English well. You could tell that he loves his work as evidenced by his enthusiasm. The boat was not full which also helped with the comfort level on the boat. The boat was clean and spacious. The bathrooms were clean. The crew took care of the guests, both young and old. A fine few hours discovered the end of the earth!
Really enjoyable cruise on the Beagle Channel. The boat is smaller than the big players but was comfortable and easy to take pictures of everything we saw.
Super recommended, very professional staff. Juan Pablo was the guide, very knowledgeable.
Excellent trip, plenty to enjoy. Whales, sea lions, petals, albatross and other sea birds including penguins. Professional and well organised with an experienced and knowledgeable guide. Great day out!
Small group of about 20 with a knowledgeable guide and opportunity to be up close to wildlife. Weather was wonderful.
Great tour through the Beagle Channel. Fabulous Tour operator. We saw lots of birds and Sea Lions. Our host was very knowledgeable and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time.
They marked a totally wrong meeting point on the map, it’s 10 mins walk from their actual office. It was really confusing
Check in and boarding was very efficient and on time. Boat was clean and appeared well maintained. Some storage under the seats for smaller bags. Stopped for a good length of time at the lighthouse and sealion colonies, captain did a good job of moving the boat about very smoothly. The landing and trek was an enjoyable experience. Before landing there was a briefing, they are very clear on what is and isn't allowed, invaluable in limiting impact from travelers. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave the information in both Spanish and English. This was a last minute booking after our travel plans changed, I am glad we did it.
Good trip. Our guide Juan Pablo was amazing! Shared lots of knowledge about Tierra del Fuego, Beagle Channel, flora and fauna of the region. We have seen lots of birds and even a whale!
The crew and our guide Chris is very professional and knowledgeable. Very smooth ride, highly recommended.
Had a great experience guide was very informative and every one was very nice saw Penquins in the water, Sea Lions and Whales
Gabriel was a terrific guide. He made sure we knew safety rules and what was going to happen for the day. He pointed out wildlife and gave information about the channel. We saw numerous whales. The captain slowed down so we could all take pictures. We also saw lots of cormorants and sea lions. It was an excellent day despite rain on the way back.
This was a great little trip out of Ushuaia to see the Beagle Channel and some local flora and fauna. The boat is small, seating only about 20 passengers but it is snug and cozy even in a blow. Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful and his English is fluent. The on-shore walking component is on dirt and unstable rock, and getting on and off the boat is over metal sheeting so I would not recommend this trip to folks who can not walk confidently on unstable surfaces. One thing to be aware of when securing your ticket is that the Patagonia Express has two offices at the pier. One appears to be closed so be sure to look for the other one! All in all a good value for the money.
Excellent tour. Our guide was great. Provided a lot of information in both Spanish and English. Beautiful scenary with the Andes mountains towering on both sides of the Beagle Channel. The boat was pretty basic (not luxury) and the Beagle Channel pretty choppy due to the winds. If you think you might have a problem with sea sickness, take some Dramamine before you get on the boat.
