A really enjoyable trip into the Beagle Channel with plenty of space on board — the boat wasn’t crammed full at all, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and comfortable. There were lots of seats and good availability, and even though they had a captive audience the food and drink were very reasonably priced. The route was well chosen, with thoughtful stops on an island, and to see ssea‑lions and the lighthouse, and plenty of time to get our own photos. At the end there was an up‑sell of professional photos, but it wasn’t pushy. The photographers had clearly put real effort into capturing guests with great backgrounds, and the price was fair — we were happy to buy them for the memories. A smooth, good‑value outing and one we’d definitely recommend

Itinerary
The rate of tourist dock is not included. This navigation starts at the local port, leaving the Ushuaia Bay. You will go on a catamaran through the Beagle Channel, visiting on route "Alicia´s Island", where we will find a colony of sea lions.
Inhabited by royal and imperial cormorants
From the island "De los Pájaros", we sail to the island "De los Lobos", where we can find specimens of sea lions of one and two hairs.
Finally, we will arrive at the "Les Eclaireurs" lighthouse , which was built in 1929.
On our way back, we disembark in one of the "Bridges Islands" to take a walk along a path where the flora and birds are interpreted, and the story of Yamana (or Yaghan) people is also told. It is important to note that we can find the largest "concheros" of Yamana in this area of the island. On the way, you will see especially skuas, black-browed albatrosses, steam ducks, cauquenes birds and seagulls.
Upon our return to Ushuaia, we will be surprised by the incredible landscapes of the Martial Mountain.

Great experience in a comfy boat with cafeteria. Placid waters, postal views, sea lions and a light house. Just relax in a wonderful voyage thru great views and places. You can take pictures in every place of the boat. I liked it!
Nice navigation. I recommend it. Remember to check the time of your visit to see if you can also combine it with watching penguins - the longer navigation.
We had good weather and no Wind and this helps a lot. Pllus we managed to see the penguins. Perfect organization and schedule
It sickens me the contamination and exploitation of natural resources I've experienced in this voyage.... they get TOO CLOSE to the animals...and the captain stayed for several minutes only a few meters away from the animals... it saddens me that our own people violently take economic advantage of our fauna and rivers. The landscapes were nothing compared to the ones you can see in trekking excursions or by car. I would not recommend this experience, we need to protect our animals and leave them alone.
The Beagle channel tour itself was nice, the only issue we had was with the operators. They have the meetup/pickup time as 3 PM in Viator. For every single other trek/tour, that means we meet at 3 PM. For them, it means meet at 2:15 PM with a 2:40 PM deadline. I did make a mistake in reading their message and reading 2:30, so when they messaged me at 2:10 that they were outside while we were still getting ready, it was a surprise. I apologized for the misunderstanding and offered to buy a taxi so they wouldn't have to wait. They decided to wait. When I got in the car and greeted the driver and apologized for the misunderstanding, she completely ignored me and started driving. Only talking to us when we were arriving in an annoyed tone without much explanation. After our trip they said they would take us home, great! Our boat landed and there was a line to buy the professional photos the photographers took, so we delayed about 15 minutes after arrival to finish buying the photos which is a well known service on the boat. They left us there without so much a message. Completely disrespectful and rude host (his wife/driver at least, the man texting me was friendly). You are better off taking a $3 taxi to the pier and going to the little green shop and buying the tour for $15 less.
Quality tour that meant we saw everything promised. We also got to walk on Bridges Island. The sea lions were amazing!!!
Had a lovely time and felt like we saw the main sights in Ushuaia - definitely the thing to do. We saw some sea lions but not too many and the lighthouse of course. We it was a little overpriced for what it was. We got a tour in Punta Arenas to Magdalen’s Island for the penguins and ended up seeing way more sea lions on this one!
Smooth ride. Pleasantly surprised by trekking at the end of the day. I think the variety of wildlife was somewhat limited (sea lions and cormorants). I, personally, would have preferred to see a tour that took in the penguinos.
The allotted time for this tour was good- not too short and not too long. However, the price was above the market price that can easily be obtained at the dock.
We left Ushuaia then rounded the lighthouse and entered the Beagle Channel. Here the sea was quite 'lumpy' but soon smoothed out in time for us to see all the glaciers. Fortunately our stateroom was on the starboard side of the ship so we had an excellent view from our balcony. As we passed each of the five glaciers we had a commentary on our TV from the cruise Entertainments Director which made it all the more spectacular.
Nice viewing. Liked that we were able to get off and walk around the paths on the island. Saw much wildlife.
When your cruise ship pulls up at the pier in Ushuaia, you’ll find tons of catamarans docked and waiting to take passengers on a scenic boat ride. Our ride took us to see several small islands, one with sea lions basking in the sun and one with tons of cormorants. You get quite close to the wildlife. We also stopped at an exhibit showing what the primitive inhabitants of the area looked like. You can also climb a small rise for a view of the surrounding area.
This was a nice and scenic introduction to the Beagle Channel. We took the morning departure, offered by All Patagonia. Be aware you have to check in at a little building on the waterfront near the pier, as stated in the reservation information you receive. Next you have to enter another building and pay a fee to access the pier. Then you walk down the pier to the boat itself. So be sure to allow plenty of time. Many people arrive early to get indoor seating next to the windows, but in any case you can get good pictures by going outdoors on the deck or through the extra-large windows as people get up from their seats. The tour itself was as advertised. We passed by little islands with cormorants, sea lions and the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse. Then we stopped on Bridges Island and walked around for a few minutes. The tour guide did a bilingual commentary in Spanish and English. A professional photographer was on board and offered souvenir pictures of each group, plus additional photos of the tour highlights and the whole area. My only regret was not being prepared for the high winds outside. My favorite hat blew away while I was trying to take a picture.
Very nice excursion. Very well explained by the guide. We had the possibility to see whales during the course of the trip. Schedules were fulfilled
Lovely experience. Very comfortable catamarans. It's a pretty quiet walk, at least on the dates we made them. We reached the lighthouse of the end of the world and the island of penguins. Beautiful.
Good service, being able to take breathtaking photos. The trip took half an hour longer than was said! Nice coffee and friendly staff.
Wonderful! It is 3-4 hours navigating the Beagle Canal in different landscapes. It is one of the most iconic tours of Ushuaia.
We took the catamaran to the southernmost lighthouse through the Beagle Channel. We saw catamarans and sea lions. It was OK, but I have to say we were higher up in Patagonian already on a few boat trips and had different experiences than this.
It is a fun experience on a smaller boat and the guides try to make the explanation intimate / small. Which is nice. Trip of 3.5 hours is also sufficient for sailing to the lighthouse and back. Imagine nothing of drinking. Little instant coffee and cocoa. No big deal. Not sure if this is worth 85€ pp. That is up to everyone to judge personally. We thought it was at the price.
I took out with the company TOLKEYEN but the navigation was one called HEADING SOUTH, I guess it must be a fool of all companies, since you take out with one and you get another and everything like that. The point is that I take this tour at 57 thousand pesos, with trekking in the Bridge Islands, to be able to see icons of the beagle channel like the lighthouse of Les Eclaireurs, but it turns out that when you sail it does not end up being so First you get on the boat and you find that it is a half-boy space, the tables are for 6 people, so if you go less you have to "share" them with others, if you want to grab a good place, I suggest you go as soon as it opens. Secondly you are greeted by the speech of the "photographers", explaining all the service they "offer", the same consists of paying 30 thousand pesos (price JUNE 24), to take photos and whatnot, the one who wanted paid it and the one who did not, it was no problem. The only thing that seemed wrong was that they said they were going to take pictures of everyone and then see if they buy them or not (similar they do on the end of the world train), luckily I didn’t see them take pictures without my consent, but you saw them there boasting that they had Top-rated places reserved for them and blah blah blah. But what is worse for me is that this tour is dedicated to the harassment of marine fauna, if as you read it. This tour is supposed to tour the iconic spots and admire them, not to go around whales with the boat, nor approach insistently and compulsively the islands where the animals were. I didn’t really pay for a tour so they’d be throwing the boat over the whales, nor to be 15 minutes off the island where the sea lions are. I think it's fourth rate, chasing the whales with the boat and trying to get as high as possible for a couple of photos and selfies. Being looking for whales or being in excessive time in front of sea lions is that valuable light time was lost (more in the winter!), to be able to take good photos of the lighthouse of Les Eclaireurs that is the last point of the excursion. Luckily the trekking is done first (although it is very brief), because otherwise they would skip it. Honestly, if one pays for an excursion to admire certain points, at least fulfill it to a decent extent, because the lighthouse comes in gloom practically just for wasting time with the fauna. If you are so interested in the subject of sea lions, whales and cormorants, then take an exclusive tour for that, so I don't hire you. The excursions are expensive enough to have to come back disappointed.
It fulfills its promise 10/10, it is an excellent experience to do as a family or as a couple, the tour is super beautiful
We had an unbeatable day to sail, we chose Tolkeyen, and we sailed on the Explorer, it is the largest in the port, beautiful views, very good guide and beautiful photos. This walk is a yes or yes in Usuhaia.
It is an excursion that cannot be missed. It is beautiful to see the city, the mountain range and all the fauna from the Beagle Canal. As a tip I recommend taking the ticket out with time in the port, there they tell you the best days of the week to sail. Departures are also suspended due to wind or bad weather.
An activity to be done, at least short sailing. We hired a navigation and paid for a combo of photographs that two professional and pleasant photographers followed us along the itinerary of the excursion taking pictures in designated and spontaneous places. The guide from the bridge in several languages in this case predominated Italian, English and Spanish very good didactic. In term they fulfilled the sending of the photos to the assigned addresses. The day accompanied us so we enjoyed the sun on the canal. Very good.
Nice city. Good gastronomy. Cute the temperature I'm from the north very hot. Indescribable landscapes very nice everything
The navigation to the lighthouse, organized by the Penguins Enterprise, was magnificent, the catamaran Francesco, moved us, a clean, comfortable boat with attentive, careful staff, with Cafeteria Service and fully accessible values, also offer the Photography Service, so that one only takes care to enjoy. Very satisfied with this Enterprise and this excursion
Ushuahia's number one must-see. Almost perfect. All he needs to do is take penguins for the 10th. Unmissable walk photos and viewsbunicas arriving and returning to Ushuaia
A good excursion option in Ushuaia and not too expensive. There are several options for longer and shorter tours.
The tour is very pleasant and the boat comfortable. It is just over three hours of sailing and you visit some islands where you can see various animals, such as sea lions, wolves, whales, penguins and some others. The Beagle Lighthouse, which gives the tour its name, is another interesting point of the tour. The boat surrounds the lighthouse and, on that day, we had a beautiful sunset. This tour does not include descending on the penguin island, but the boat anchors in the sand of Magellan Island, very, very close to the birds. Almost got to pass the hand in the head of the imposing King Penguin 😅 Curti quite.
Very good tour , excellent care, excellent guides, The explanations were very clear and entertaining.
Beautiful walk that you should do if you visit Ushuaia. We take this tour with a local Enterprise. During the tour we visited the island of Los Lobos where the boat gets close enough to admire those beautiful animals. We also visited the island of Los Pájaros, where we could see Magellanic cormorants and imperial cormorants. As a snap, we arrive at Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse where you really feel at the End of the World!!.
This boat ride costs half as much and takes half as much (two and a half hours instead of five) as visiting the penguins. Unless you have an obsession with penguins (eb actually are the symbol of Antarctica, that’s true), I recommend this “short” boardwalk option. Note that both sea lions and penguins are seen up close but from the boat. The catamaran from Canoeros Enterprise is spacious, new and comfortable. Includes Coffee Service, Toilets and a Guide. A stop is made on an isolet for a short walk with great views before approaching (but without passengers getting off) the rocks where sea lions snort, another islet with birds and the lighthouse.
The sailing was great. Feeling surrounded by so many wonders to one sensitize him to the extreme. What an impressive landscape!!!!!
Excellent option to know more about Ushuaia. Amazing views, sailing the Beagle Canal and reaching the Lighthouse is really worth realizing
Excellent experience, complete guide information, friendly crew, super attention!!, unique landscapes at the end of the World and they're from my Argentine. I would repeat it again!!
Great tour made by very well structured tourism agency. We visited the lighthouse and the island of wolves.
was the second nicest thing after the end-of-the-world train; The sailing takes 3 hours, stops, half an hour on Bridge Islands, for a hike, then continue until you reach the lighthouse, beautiful, I went 2 times in the morning and once in the afternoon, each option has its charm
Not knowing is unforgivable!!! Beauty x wherever you look. The view of air land and sea a wonderful conjunction
a very nice walk, seabirds, sea lions, and the lighthouse with stunning views of Ushuaia and the Beagle Canal.
We went in August and we got a boat for the 2 couple friends we were. More private tour. We were able to get close to where sea lions and different birds were. Then we went to the lighthouse where we could see it up close and take good pictures! We went down to an island to walk and then we were waiting with a rich dive to finish the excursion. The price was $2000 and is called navigation island of wolves and birds
Navigating the Beagle Canal is a wonderful and unforgettable experience. On board a catamaran with heating and snack bar, where you can taste good Argentine wine, you can see the lighthouse of the end of the world, as well as islands inhabited by thousands of birds and still sea lions.
Great service, catamaran boat very comfortable, with snack bar on board, heating. Interesting route, passing through the lighthouse, island of sea lions and island of penguins. I recommend.
Nice walk and nice views It would add better Food Service, more variety, and better attention on the boat doing the tour.
Nothing exciting, but it's imperative by the lighthouse, to see the lions and birds. The explanation of the guide is also nice, but the tour is a bit time-consuming. Go to the harbor and buy right there, in one of the "stores", the tour (you still get a hot chocolate voucher and a certificate that you did the sailing - we did by Tolkeyen). We went in at 15h to pick up the sunrise, and it was pretty nice.
