Learn how to roll 'sfoglia' (fresh pasta) by hand and how to prepare 2 simple different kinds of pasta (filled pasta + fresh pasta) from scratch with your Cesarina.
As the icing on the cake you will learn to prepare also the iconic Tiramisu.

Highlight of our tripan-american-in-italy
We booked a private cooking class in at an Umbrian farmhouse and it became the best part of the trip. Our hostess Claudia, and her husband Francesco, welcomed us into her real kitchen and patiently walked us through handmade local pasta with sauce, lentils, tiramisu, and bruschetta with two different toppings. We are both experienced cooks but learned details we wouldn't get from cookbooks or cooking shows. Lunch was everything we had cooked, plus local wine and real conversation on a variety of topics despite the slight language barrier. We left with handwritten recipes and memories of a lovely time in a real Italian home.

We had Vanessa as our instructor and she was fabulous!!! It was only my friend and myself, which was perfect. Our class was in her home with her family helping. They had a lovely brunch set up for us on our arrival where we all sat and got to know each other. They made us feel very welcomed and very much at home. Then we started with the tiramisu so it would be ready at the end of the class, it was so easy and fun. Then we went to the kitchen and started on making three kinds of pasta. Vanessa was wonderful explaining everything on making the pasta but also, she explained the origin of each of the different pastas. Once everything was ready we all sat down again at the table and ate all the wonderful food we had just made. Topping it off with the delicious tiramisu. It was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely do it again.

Claudia and Francesco were amazing hosts! They did a wonderful job of showing us local pasta making techniques and teaching us about Italian customs. The food is as simply amazing. We had a long evening of great food and conversation. We would nightly recommend them as hosts for your experience!

Just really enjoyed this pasta making session. Claudia made us feel right at home and she was a great instructor but even more a wonderful hostess. We felt like we were able to really see and learn more about Spoleto and Italy. The food was delicious and her presentation was outstanding.
