Hotel Gio Wine E Jazz Area

We had an amazing time staying at Hotel Gio wine and jazz. The concept of this hotel is very interesting with full Jazz music every where in the hotel. The check in was quick and easy with professional receptionist. The breakfast was very good with lots of options, also suitable for people with dietary requirements not to mention staff were always available for everything you’d ask for and the chef greeting us every morning. A lovey lady cleans our room everyday. Only one thing is that the air conditioning in the room made a lot of noises and its difficult to get a good sleep other than that everything was perfect! So hopefully they can check all the air conditioning system and change for the future. Rooftop pool is gorgeous with beautiful view i just wish we had more time to enjoy it. They also let us stayed in the pool for as long as we wanted after check out leaving all our bags at the reception. Highly recommended.

Stayed for one night during the Umbria Jazz Festival. Despite being very busy the hotel service was excellent. Nice spacious room and bathroom. Great breakfast with a wide choice and high quality. Free shuttle to and from the town centre during the Festival.

A great hotel with the credo “have a jazz and wine life”. I got a very good room, comfortable and really big. With a table to work, a wide window and a minibar. The hotel is very central, from there it’s less than 10 minutes to the Mini Metro, which brings you in 5-10 minutes into the old city. The food in the restaurant is amazing, the staff very attentive. the breakfast buffet is rich and full of local Products. There you find a lady really preparing the desserts with her hands!! In the evening you can relax at the bar area and enjoy a wine while music is played. I hope to be there next year!!

We absolutely loved this hotel. Its a business hotel but with a lot of character. The breakfast is great and the jazz player in the room is really cool. Lovely garden to enjoy a drink as well. We took the mini metro to the old town (great recommandation) which was simple, safe , cheap and easy. We walked back with no issue at all.. Perugia is a fantastic city and this is a great hotel to use as a base.
