We had a lovely tasting of one olive oil and 5 wines. The tour of the farm was interesting and our guide, Antonella was kind and very knowledgeable. Generous pours of wine and good snacks to accompany.

It was an enjoyable experienced to walk around the farm while learning about wine's natural cultivation and olive's. Tasting the wines and olive from this farm was great. Though it also good to present other commercial wine/s for tasting for differentiation. Otherwise., many thanks for the warm and friendly reception from personnels.
Perfect experience, excellent wine and oil.
Single source farm, fully organic, growing their own variety of over 20 grapes to produce some of the best tasting rose, whites, and reds you will ever taste. The entire process from growing to bottling is done at this farm. Our guide, which I believe her name was Antonella, spoke English very well and was great at explaining things in detail. She was very polite and made the tour very personable. We would definitely go back again.
We had a fabulous time with Antonella! She was incredibly informative and made the whole experience so memorable and fun. After learning about the whole process of the wine and olive oil, she gave us some great recommendations for where to eat nearby. We highly recommend this tour & tasting!
Wonderful tour and tasting. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend to anyone.
The tour was fantastic. Tour guide was very friendly and informative. Great wine, great olive oil! Highly recommend!
Great visit and tasting with Antonella. We felt very welcome and very much appreciated our tasting of their excellent products. Strongly recommend!
We enjoyed the tour so very much. Our hosts were so gracious. Watching the olive harvesting was interesting. I would have liked to learn more about the olive oil production process in addition. The olive oil was so so very delicious. The best we'd tasted so far during our trip! Along with the wine tasting, we were given several wonderful cheeses and breads. The farm location had wonderful views which added greatly to the experience. I definitely recommend this excursion.
Excellent wine and olive oil tasting experience. We were able to walk here when staying in a nearby villa and it was a great afternoon. Olive oil, wines and accompanying nibbles were all excellent and our host was very informative. We made a number of purchases to take home. Overall highly recommended.
Very nice tour around the property. The guide was very sweet, fun and knowledgeable. The wine were great and the view from the terrace incredible. I will recommend if you need a quick break from Lucca and see the landscape and taste some great wines. The sommelier even drove is back to Lucca, as it was very difficult to find taxies in and around Lucca.
We had a fantastic afternoon sampling the best olive oil I’ve ever had! We had 5 different wines produced here, wonderful variety. Our host gave great explanations of their processes for both wine and oil. The setting was beautiful, overlooking the vineyards, olive trees and the Tuscan mountains!!!
Great learning about how grapes and olives are processed. Better to even get to sample. Our guide was so knowledgeable and spoke English so well. It was a great experience and I would greatly recommend it.
Lovely property and staff, however, there was no walking tour as mentioned in the tour description and the majority of this tour centred on wine and wine tasting. If you are looking for an olive oil tour, I would not recommend this tour.
Amazing; tour guide was super knowledgeable. Learned a ton, tried some great wines! They're an organic winery / olive oil producer, which we didn't know before hand -- which was an awesome surprise. Absolutely worth it!
Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Antonella was was very knowledgeable and personable — an excellent guide. Would highly recommend the tour.
Very humid day but we really enjoyed the tour and we were soon enjoying the breads, wines and fabulous cheeses. The covered patio was a Godsend on such a hot day. We were able to enjoy the scenery with some comfort away from the heat Our guide was extremely knowledge and interesting.
Antonella was informative and a complete pleasure. Her presentation was fun and a joy for all involved. The olive oil, food and wine were wonderful and we would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a great adventure with a fabulous hostess.
Absolutely loved the experience, our guides knowledge was fantastic and really helped to understand and appreciate the wines and olive oil. We were (luckily) the only ones on the tour so it became a “private” tour and tasting that was one of our best experiences we had in Tuscany and Italy. Our hosts kind and friendly nature made the experience authentic, yet also easy to understand as her English was great. She also provided many tips for our trip in Italy and must have dishes too. More than just a tasting, could not rate it more highly!
Our host was very knowledgeable and pleasant. The olive oil, wine, and food were all delicious. A great time if you are staying in or around Lucca.
Antonetta was our host for the grove tour and tasting and she is wonderful, kind, intelligent and so easy to communicate with. She taught us about care for the olive trees and grape vines and fava beans! The wine was delish- the olive oil is to die for! The tasting room is updated and clean and very comfortable. The food that came with the tasting was very good. Most importantly this far is organic so respect the space. I highly recommend this tour and we will be back!
The tour was really personal, friendly & informative. The tastings were great & we were made really comfortable. The hosts were really easy to talk to & super accommodating
Lovely experience. We meet the delightful, 3rd generation owner, as soon as we arrived. The orchards and vineyards were much more than we had expected. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared years of experience and passion. Our guided tour of the land was quite informative and filled with insight and history. We had a wonderful lunch with fresh olive oil, delicious bread and cheese. Our host introduced us to 5 wonderful bottles of wine. Each one with a family tree associated with the winery. We were served a savory plate of bruchetta to complete the meal.. We all were over joyed with our time and were intrigued by the possibility of returning to stay in the apartments overlooking the property. A perfect way to spend a day in Tuscany. Having to find our own transportation was daunting, but we found a driver to take 4 of us for 30 euros. The staff was able to arranged a mini-van to bring 6 of us back to the train station outside the wall in Lucca for 45 euros. A heart warming trip to the country.
What a fun couple of hours! Barbara was very friendly and knowledgeable about her wine and olive oil. Both were amazing and the bread and cheese complimented well. Such a beautiful drive through Tuscany to get there.
we had a private tour of the olive / vineyard. even though there were only the two of us, time was really taken for us and we were able to ask all the questions we had. The wines with accompanying history were really delicious and all the local snacks were delicious. I would really recommend it to everyone! Thanks again for this fantastic afternoon.
A wonderful experience at the farm guided by the most charming hostess, Barbara. She and her team made our group of 10 very welcome and was so gracious in answering our questions. Excellent value for money and a throughly enjoyable couple of hours.
Antonella was fantastic! Explained everything clearly and was so nice. Tasting was amazing....drank too much but was the most amazing experience and is a must if you are in the area...
Spent a lovely couple of hours with Barbara who shared her passion for everything 'grape and oil.' It was a real pleasure to hear about the history of the farm and all the ins and outs of wine and oil production. If you're in the area, I would highly recommend this tour.
Thank you! Thank you, Barbara and Antonella! We were a group of 35, visiting Lucca for a wedding celebration, and Barbara and Antonella graciously welcomed us (on their day off) for a special wine and olive oil tasting. The grounds are a magical experience, but, it's truly the people and their passion that made this one of the highlights of the week. The tastings, with delicious appetizers, were nicely explained by Antonella, leaving us all with a satisfied palate and a thorough understanding of the wine process. We are so very grateful for the experience and your kind, warm hospitality. We hope to return to Lucca and to Colle do Bordocheo!
We stayed for a week in the wonderful well situated and well equipped farmhouse appartment Bordo 1 in the middle of the vineyards and olive trees with great panoramic view outside lovely Lucca. A perfect base for exploring Tuscany. A special thanks to Barbara and Antonella for the warm welcome, the nice wine and oil tasting, and for finding us an emergency mechanic to fix our broke down car on a saturday.
We had a lovely, hot and somewhat challenging bikeride from the city center of Lucca through the beautiful countryside to this amazing vinery. We managed the 23 km without much bicycle experience or recent practice. A personal guide made sure we stayed safe throughout the ride, and told us interesting things about the places we passed. Upon our arrival at the vinery, we were greated by the owner, served refreshing cold water and given the opportunity to freshen up after the bikeride. A very nice and knowledgeable young lady gave us a great tour of the olive groves and vineyards, telling us about the history of the place and the processes behind the making of their olive oil and wines. We then proceeded to the wine tasting room, with high ceiling and panorama view of the beautiful surroundings. Our guide gave us an introduction to their olive oil, and how to discover the quality and freshness of the oil. She then told us about their different wines, we tasted two white, one rosé and three red wines. All in generous amounts, accompanied by delicios local delicacies. The whole experience was magnificent, we will definately return on our next visit to Lucca!
This ended up being one of our favorite tours while in Lucca! The farm was beautiful, the family so warm and friendly and the wine amazing! By the time my sisters and I left, we felt like Barbara was a friend and we learned so much! Thank you again Barbara for making us feel apart of your family!!
The tour was very Interesting & informative. The guide was very knowledgeable, spoke very good English and answered any questions we had confidently. There was a good variety of wines to taste as well as foods to go with them. I would recommend this tour.
The host, Barbara, was great. Very warm. Very interesting and knowledgeable about wine, olive oil, history. We had a terrific time and would recommend this experience highly. And, the wine and food were delicious.
Es hat viel Spaß gemacht und war super informativ und interessant. Wir haben einiges über die Kultur kennengelernt. Wein, Öl und Snacks waren lecker
We were there 5 adults. And really got a lovely experience. From we called and ordered time to we got a tour and tasting. Got lunch in connection with the dmagning. The cute girl whose name I unfortunately do not remember did it super. We felt ice really welcome. Good wine and good food. Can definitely be recommended.
On 07.06.23 we asked again, as described in the contract, where the meeting point is and whether it stays with the time. On 09.06.23 we unfortunately did not find the place. We found the sign of Bordocheo with reference to olive oil tasting, but no entrance.Unfortunately we failed to photograph it. Better would have been a detailed reference to the coordinates. We have already been to Italy in many wineries for tasting, partly off-road and never had any problems until now. After writing to TripAdvisor, it took some time for someone to get in touch. We were already sick and tired. Even the suggestion that we were not telling the truth did not motivate us to attend the event. We felt it was pretentious and not customer-oriented. We would have liked a little more empathy. The suggestion that we're the only ones who haven't found it is not fit for purpose. Maybe you have to question self-critically whether you could improve something. Too bad about the lost money. We will never book anything in advance, but only pay if the service has been used. Since we were very much looking forward to the tasting in advance, the whole thing was a nuisance, which you cannot use.
We had a super fun outing here! We had small children with us, but this was fine to do. The length of the explanation in the olive grove and then vineyard was just right! Interesting info received and then it was time for a tasting. This one was more than worth it and in between glasses of wine we kept getting info. The space was very nice and bright with panoramic views over the vineyard, everything was also neat and clean. No sense of time pressure, we were given ample time to taste everything and the children were allowed to sit there (you can bring your own drinks). In short, very successful and (partly because of the wine) very cozy! Only downside is the signage, we could find it difficult.
What a great experience this was! We enjoyed the warm welcome, the educational tour of the vineyards and olive groves, and the great lunch-tasting. What a delicious oil, wines and dishes! Our hostess took ample time for us so we could enjoy the tastings at ease. A Tuscan lunch at its best! If you are in the area, do not hesitate to stop by here.
