Wonderful experience! This was genuine and unique. We learned about wine from this vineyard, from the area, and were able to ask questions about what we know versus what they do. The tour guide and wine maker shared their passion for their craft. My husband and I loved it and found it to be a highlight of our trip. Thank you so much for your time and sharing your trade, your gifts with us. Grazie Mille!

One of the best tours we've done on Holiday! Absolutely gorgeous visit to the family run vineyard, guides were great and we had a lot of fun!
This was the highlight of our trip to pisa collection and transfer to the vineyard was faultless . Lots of food was provided meats cheese breads olives etc and sampling 6 wines from the vineyard. The host was extremely knowledgeable funny and spoke fantastic English would highly recommend this trip it a must
Very nice day, even there was rain and thunder, when we gor up to the Winery. Super friendly guide Thomaso, was incredible good, to explain the process and history behind wine making i Tuscany. Big recomendation from us🤗
A fantastic Tuscany wine tour! A beautiful boutique vineyard with a small, passionate team who made the experience so enjoyable. The wines were exceptional, the food was delicious, and the whole afternoon was relaxed, authentic, and great fun. Highly recommended!
A very enjoyable half day trip to a small family owners winery. Shown their process by family and tasted 4 of their wines, all lovely. A very relaxed trip in the Tuscan countryside with a very informative guide. Nice to get away from the busy bustle.
This was a very relaxing evening. Being a "family" winemaker (not a commercial business) made this a wonderful experience. We learned about how the different wines were made and enjoyed different food pairs (and why the food/wine pairing was made) with each type of wine. I would highly recommend this tour.
Great experience, picked up as planned with no issues. Taken to the vineyard and the guide and the vineyard was very knowledgeable. Food and drink all very good
What a pleasure Giulia was. She gave a lovely, laid back tour. Then in the vine it was the most beautiful place with incredibly friendly and knowledgeable people. All-in-all we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend.
Very small winery. Driver picked up 8 people and did not speak one word to us the whole way. Got to the winery - Julia was knowledgeable but the tour was about 1/2 hour. Wine tasting and food served in the winery was lovely but no interaction from anyone at the winery and we were left to our own devices for 2.5 hours. Way to long to be sitting doing nothing. Luckily we had lovely people in our group and we had a nice time chatting. This tour could be 2-3 hours max. And half the price. It was too much money for what we got.
Tomas turned up on time at the pick up point in a nice van. He introduced himself to all the customers and was very informative about the trip. His driving was calm and safe while he talked us through the local viniculture history. We arrived at the vineyard after about 30minutes and he walked us up through the farm to the main buildings. There he handed over to a lovely lady who talked us through the the history of the nine yard and showed us around the production area. We then went out to a lovely spot amongst the vines for the wine tasting and delicious food all made on the farm or from the local area. A safe journey back to Pisa followed. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend Tomas as a guide. Thanks from Radar and Lilly
Wonderful trip, great host and beautiful family run vineyard.
Nice wine tasting and learning Great views, and unforgettable experience friends and I had a blast time. Thanks Rafael
Wine was definitely wine. Loved the food/snacks. The guide was one of the best I've had, and I will return because of him alone.
Raffaele was our tour guidefor a small group. The drive to and from the vineyard was full of information on the history of Lucca. At the vineyard we were given a tour with an explanation on how the local wine are made. The wine tasting was very good. After we sampled various wines, we spoke about the different wines and how region wine can differ globally. Very welcoming like visiting a good friend. There was no real push to buy anything extra. I did opt to buy some wine. There were also other items that were grown on the vineyard for purchase. My favorite part was speaking on how wine pairs with food and how wines change the tastes of food when cooking with it. I rate things based on if I felt something was worth what I paid. I do not drink wine, but felt it was worth the experience. 10/10 would go again.
What a wonderful trip. We were picked up by Tommaso and driven to the family run vineyard with good conversations with the other couple who were also on the tour. The wine was delicious and organic, and all the food we ate was locally sourced. We had a really great day and would recommend it if you are in Pisa. Thank you Tommaso 😊 Maxine & Philippa
The vineyard was beautiful with delicious wines. Our driver Marco from Autoservizi DBTuscany went above and beyond!
We were driven to the vineyard by our driver Tommi, who was very knowledgeable of the area. Excellent tour of this beautiful family vineyard in Tuscany. We met the family, and were shown around by a very knowledgeable guide. We learnt the whole process from growing the grapes, through to bottling. We tried several wines accompanied by local meats, cheeses and bread, followed by local honey and cake. We would highly recommend this tour. We visited in January, but the sun shone and we ate inside, in front of a lovely fire.
We didn’t want a multi-winery tour with a bus load of people. Thomas picked the four of us in a van and we traveled from Pisa to a small operation outside of Lucca overlooking the Tuscan hills. The multi-generational run winery has been in operation since 1896. The tour of the self-run operation by Julia was great. We sat outside and enjoyed 4 wines and a wonderful charcuterie board and deserts. We highly recommend this tour unless you want to be part of a large crowd without personal attention. Iowa travelers.
Small group, enthusiastic guide, interesting history of a 4th-generation family business. Nice wines, too! The Merlot was a winner. Tasting was done outdoors, with a view of the vineyards and plates of cheese & sausage -- followed by sweets.
It was a truly unique experienced, of how a small vineyard are paasionate about their wine making. How this business thrive through generations. The wines are fermented to perfection. The only downside on the day is the heavy downpour yet with good company it was a pleasant experience. Although a little bit pricey I would recommend it to anyone who would like a small wine tour.
I would definitely recommend this tour. We were picked up as scheduled by the tour guide who was fantastic. He had so much energy and knowledge and was super friendly. The mini bus was modern, clean and had air con. The vineyard was small and family run which meant we really got close up to seeing how it all worked. The location was perfect and we had lunch and tried the different types of wine in the actual vineyard. It was an amazing day!!
We were very happy with our experience at Tenuta Adamo! The tour and tasting was lovely and very informative. The driver was also very friendly and convenient from Pisa. The 3 hour tour is definitely the way to go.
Amazing experience in small authentic Fratelli Urbani Farm! That’s the place where you can relax and learn how they produce wine. Our tour guide Raffaello was so informative, he talks about his region Lucca with passion and pride . The wines were delicious. All of us had an unforgettable time ! Thank you.
Very interesting and a lot of new information of wine culture in Lucca region. Would recommend 100% for everyone who are interested
This was a really delightful experince. Tomassi reached out to us before hand to confirm all the details and any food allergies. We met him in Pisa (although I'm sure he could also pick you up in Lucca as well) and he drove us to a small family vineyard talking about the history of the area and history of the this particular vineyard along the way. Once there he gave us a tour of the vineyard, showed us the family olive trees, the beehive, and the vegetable garden on sight. We had young kids and a teen with us and he was wonderful explaining things to them. In addition we had a tour of the casks and explanation about the history of the vineyard and were taken to tables outside and local charcuterie were brought over along with four wines for tasting. Tomassi talked to us a bit before we started to drink and snack and left us alone to spend time to ourselves snacking and trying the wines with the various items on offer. The kids had water and juice to drink. Afterward we purchased a number of bottles to take with us. We enjoyed the tour and the kids did too! Highly recommend.
We could not have had a more amazing afternoon out in the hills above Lucca l. The guys were so knowledgeable and hospitable. Would highly recommend. We even got a list of places to eat sent through after we jumped off the car in Lucca instead of going back to Pisa.
Absolutely wonderful afternoon visit to a beautiful Tuscan Vineyard just outside of Lucca. Visited with my wife and 13 year old daughter. From the start, the whole experience felt very personal and was so much fun. My daughter was also looked after so well and was included in everything we did. All the hosts were absolutely fantastic, very welcoming and knowledgeable. We all had such a laugh together as well. The tasting was excellent and we were treated to plenty of wine and superb food. One of the nicest things about the experience was how personal it all was (there were only 7 people in the group), and we were never rushed. Overall, a fantastic experience and one that i would definitely recommend to anyone.
This wine tasting experience in Lucca is a must and highly recommended. Francesco ( the owner) of Cantina Biagiotti toured us around their vineyard and explained to us how wine is produced . The highlight was a memorable wine tasting with antipasto. Our group was amazing and we had a wonderful time with the experience. We even bought a bottle of wine to bring home. Gracie Mille Francesco and also Marco ( driver)
It was an amazing trip. Because of a small group we felt like one of the family. They were really welcoming the vine was amazing and the food good. Our guide was funny and really knew the history. We will definitely never forget Lucca
Amazing experience! From the pick up to the drop off it was all around great. We learnt about the vineyard and wine making process, and the tasting was absolutely fabulous with lovely nibbles to pair the wine with. Well worth a visit!
Excellent trip from start to finish. Arrived on time, welcoming, friendly, very informative, knowledgable, passionate about the wines & winery. Enjoyable afternoon. Would definitely recommend.
Tomassi took us on a wonderful journey to a vineyard in Tuscany, where we tasted wines and had complimentary meats and cheeses. It will filled with history and Tomassi gave us the history of Tuscan wine and how it linked in with the Medici family. A truly wonderful experience and the wine was amazing!
Rafael picked us up in Pisa and took us on an adventurous well guided tour through Lucca and to the winery. He was very knowledgeable and we could tell he loves not only his job but his hometown of Lucca. (so much so we’d like to stay in Lucca on our next trip to Italy.) The winery was incredible and manicure to perfection. This family business since 1867 is a testament of love hard work and family. Fransico, the owner, taught us with great enthusiasm about how they make their wine and also their own olive oil. The wine and olive oil tasting was exceptional. They provided antipasto and water to snack on during the tasting. And I might add that their tasting pours were more than you get at some wine tasting venues. We bought several bottles of wine and a bottle of olive oil. All will be shipped to us in the US. We hope to go back someday and see the progress these young entrepreneurs have made.

We went on this tour from Pisa, mid May. It was a super trip. The pick up from Pisa is straight forward and the journey to the vineyard via Lucca enjoyable. The vineyard and surrounding scenery are fantastic. The guys are so knowledgeable and passionate about the wine they make. The tasting is generous and the accompanying food delicious! I would recommend this tour, you need look nowhere else!
What an amazing experience and a must when visiting Pisa. Marco was very knowledgeable and easy to chat to. We enjoyed visiting the family run winery which made the experience personal and friendly. A great opportunity to walk around the vineyard, cellar and sample local food and wine, in a stunning setting. Thank you Marco.
From start to finish the tour was a wonderful experience. Marco our driver was knowledgeable and answered every guest question about the wine and the region as we drove to the winery. While at the winery he talked us through the different things grown there and the beginning of the wine making process. Then Julia took us through the rest of the process and showed us the cellar. After they brought us 3 glasses of wine to try and so much delicious food. They did a wonderful job catering to my friend who couldn’t eat pork. Overall was an amazing experience if you find yourself in Pisa.
An amazing informative tour. From start to finish a truly VIP experience. Heartily recommended. We would definitely come back.
Fantastic experience at one of Tuscany’s oldest wineries. Really personal experience with an amazing knowledge and explanation of the wine making process. Marco, our guide, was really good as well, explaining about the area of Lucca in general and its history. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend this tour.
Marco, our driver, was ontime and checked in a few hours before on time and pick up location. He was very knowledgeable on our root to the vineyard telling us the history of Lucca. The Vineyard itself was beautiful. The staff and tour were lovely and informative. Large selection of wines to taste with delicious food to accompany with it! Overall a great experience.
The driver/guide was very nice and talk very nice about Lucca and The area. And The vinery was small , But very personal. We felt very welcome. We dearly recommend this. Best regards from Christer o Petra, Magnus o Annika Sweden
A bit expensive for the experience that it is!! But very nice, the guide explains things to you and upon arriving at the vineyards his colleague continues showing the different wines and "invites" us to try them and a tasting of cold cuts is included!! The experience could be a few euros cheaper since it is very short in itself.
We went with Raffaele to Francesco Biagiotti's vineyard. Raffaele was very welcoming and “authentic,” times were respected, the visit was very interesting with very clear explanations from Francesco. The tasting was informal but very pleasant. Recommended
Incredibly nice experience. Nice to see a small local vineyard this way 😍
Great experience for good and authentic wine away from the mainstream. Small cozy group and a very nice guide!
The experience had a very good setup with transfers to and from the vineyard. You are well received by everyone and their passion for the vineyard and to continue its heritage is evident in all the details. The vineyard is located in a beautiful location with views of the vineyards. The wines, olive oil and snacks were delicious. We couldn't be more pleased and would like to thank the crew for this amazing experience! Greetings from Marie and Julia
Were picked up at the hotel, what a luxury! Many thanks to Tomaso! Highly recommended! Cozy experience on a traditional vineyard! Where we met Francesco with his very good wines! Had so much fun! Many thanks to both!
