Competing with Piazza del Campo is really difficult, but even this square has its charm. In particular, the building that catches the eye most of all is Palazzo Salimbeni, an excellent example of Sienese Gothic.
It was generally a good experience but I couldn’t use the given map to navigate the directions. I had to use Google maps on my phone for directions, so at every location I had to enter in the next destination, all over again….which was a bit inconvenient.

Given some of the previous reviews, I was concerned about connectivity for this tour. However, everything worked perfectly. I enjoyed the way the tour was set up, and I felt like we saw things that we wouldn’t necessarily have seen If we were trying to figure things out on our own. I also liked the included maps which made getting from one place to another very easy. The Set up allowed us to spend as much time at each site as we wanted. I would hardly recommend this tour.

This was a good way to take in Siena. However, there needs to be warnings about the steep climbs and descents on the route, and possible alternative routes or suggestions where a taxi might hit be a good choice for less able-bodied folk. I made it fine because I’m in pretty good shape for a 64 yr old, but it’s not an easy walk in the park. Also let people know they need some sturdy shoes for all of the uneven terrain.

Good walking to tour if you want an affordable option! Walk includes most of the major spots in Siena and provides a brief description behind the place/architecture.
Great experience walking through Siena. Audio guide gave great insight into various sites and website was very easy use. We went to Siena in August so it was very warm. The self paced audio guide was nice because we could take breaks whenever we wanted and start back up at any point within the tour.

Very easy to use guide with helpful information and history of the town. We accessed it at the last minute for our very brief stop in Siena (2 hours), and it was helpful. Would recommend getting it a day or two ahead to be more deliberate and organized than we were. Guide is nicely done and easy to understand.
We enjoyed the tour - it was eazy to go following the map and reading the description of buildings. It”s good to choose your own tempo and take time to see around and take pictures. Vety good and easy to follow interesting fucts sbout places were the tour lead us.

The audio walking tour is very good and a great value. We've been on a lot of in-person tours and decided to try this virtual tour. The tour was as informative as any guide and the added bonus was being able to pause the to pace our journey.

We visited all the major attractions, learning about the history (text or audio) and the walks from point point were well designed to see lesser known parts of the city too. It made our short visit so worthwhile and enjoyable. An absolute must for your stay!
We did not have time for a guided tour so this was a nice way to learn a little about the main sites. We did crave a bit more history about Sienna though!
To get a tour guide is expensive and needs to be booked well in advanced. This is far by the best audio guide from walking cap ! I enjoyed siena in a day with this tour and saw so many places which my friends never saw and that too for a good price! The restaurant recommendations were also very good if i could give you 100 stars would do it .Thank you Matteo for always being there to help me when i need it .As a solo traveler on a budget this was really good and save d me having to get a tour guide and pay more . The app worked so well on my bad internet and i didnt feel like i was lost . I highly recommend this

The contact went smoothly. We really liked the option of being guided through Siena according to our own taste—listening, pausing, having a drink, listening again…—it was a very relaxed way to be guided. The only fly in the ointment: I would have liked more information in terms of content.
This self-guided tour is really well done. We did the route as a family. Everyone has their own phone and headphones for the explanations. You have to download Google Maps to simply follow the route. You are free to linger or speed up, to take a break where you want and when you want. We highly recommend it!
Very interesting! In my opinion, the only flaw is that the list of places to visit is not indexed in a way that allows one to choose which to listen to in case, for major reasons, it is not possible to follow the suggested itinerary. Anyway, I had a lot of fun!!

Very good audio guide, spoken English is very good without accent. We really enjoyed it. It covers the whole city including an Attraction within the walls. The website is super well done, the text is the same as the one read and at each step you press a button that opens a route in Google Maps. Very well done!
