Stella stepped in when the original guide backed out. She was a pure delight and knows Sienna and its history extremely well as a multi-generational citizen of Sienna. We were fortunate to meet her!

Itinerary
See Siena through the eyes of someone who lives and loves it—wandering quiet lanes, historic squares, neighborhood fountains, and hidden altars. This isn’t a scripted tour; it’s a flexible, personalized experience shaped around you. Before your walk, your host will reach out with a short online Personalization Form to understand your interests—whether you're drawn to sacred art, medieval architecture, local food, or peaceful viewpoints. Here are some places you might explore:
Begin in Siena’s dramatic, shell-shaped square—home to the Palio horse race and centuries of civic life. Your host will share how this iconic space captures the spirit, rivalry, and unity of Siena’s historic districts.
Pause at this ornate Renaissance fountain, where sculpted panels once celebrated abundance and innovation. In a hilltop city, Fonte Gaia is more than a monument—it’s a symbol of survival, pride, and ingenuity.
One of Siena’s oldest and most atmospheric fountains. Surrounded by medieval stone and arches, it tells a story of water, survival, and the wool guild that once ruled the area.
Stroll this refined historic street where artisan boutiques and daily life flow side by side. As locals linger over coffee, your host will share how the street links the city’s political and cultural heart.
Step into this solemn 13th-century church, where relics of Saint Catherine offer a powerful glimpse into devotion, mysticism, and Siena’s spiritual identity.
Leave the cobblestones behind for this tranquil medieval garden just beyond the city walls. Chickens roam, herbs flourish, and Siena’s bustle fades into birdsong—offering a perfect place to pause and reflect.

no guides were available and our tour guide as cancelled. I am waiting for a refund. I only found out when I called them to verify meeting point.
Leticia was fun and enthusiastic. She was also thoughtful about the seniors in our group. It was clear that she loved Siena and her love for the city was infectious.
Lillo was fantastic!!! Entire tour was stress free, thorough, and flexible to whatever we wanted to see, with great picture spots and restaurant recommendations. We can’t wait to be back! Thank you Lillo!
Filippo was very knowledgeable. He demonstrated great interest in answering our questions and he focused on the historical context of the city, along with explaining the current trends and happenings of the 17 districts within the city of Siena. We would highly recommend Filippo as a guide.
I rarely leave a review, but I wanted to for this tour. Filippo was our guide and my wife and I really liked him, he was calm and very knowledgeable. What a nice young man. We walked for 3 hours in a gentle pace, not taxing us at all. Fillipo took us to so many interesting places, maybe not the ones that tours often do. We learned so much about Siena and the people, the 17 districts, the churches, university, etc. He gave us great recommendations for gelato and a nice restaurant. We can certainly highly recommend him for any tour in the area. Everything we asked him about, he was able to explain in perfect English to us.
Letizia was very sweet and she tried her best to find streets that were easy for us to walk thru since a couple in our party had knee issues. She gave us a very interesting tour. Thank you!
Our guide was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and interesting. The experience was well worth the time.
The guide was able to bring us to the back areas of the city that would be missed normally. She was very knowledgeable impatient with us.
The information was amazing. We learned a lot about things that were of interest to us. Stella was very pleasant. Take lots of pictures of the landmarks she points out if you are staying in town to walk around more on your own. The pacing was perfect.
Amazing experience. Letizia was very knowledgeable and helpful in Sienna. Would highly recommend. Great tour and would most definitely do it again.
Letizia was a wonderful guide - it was like having a friend show us all the secrets of Siena. Perfectly paced, not strenuous - 3 hours went quickly, then at the end we could go into the Duomo by ourselves - wow!
Filippo was amazing and very knowledgeable! He made the tour fun and inviting and gave great recommendations for food and shopping as well! We felt as if we saw Siena from a local point of view. Would definitely recommend!
Stella is a gem. What an ocean of knowledge she is. We learned so much, the pace was perfect & we circled back to the spots she shared with us because they were so special. We couldn’t have had a more lovely morning.
Lillo was very informative and helpful. He spoke excellent English and gave us a good sense of Siena.
A private tour specialized to our interests and be an amazing local guide. We would not have learned to much about the city without Francesco as our guide. It was wonderful.
Our tour was exceptional. Stella was outstanding. We gained a significant amount of knowledge from Stella and she was delightful to be around. This beautiful city is steeped in history. Stella also provided insight into the origins of the Horse Race and we witnessed immense pride among the people involved. Furthermore, Stella went above and beyond to ensure we located the meeting point, as it was our first time driving in Italy, and she also assisted us in finding our way back to the parking area. Her helpfulness was greatly appreciated.
