Private Shore Excursion From Livorno To Florence And Pisa

Our driver was wonderful. Yaniel the tour guide of Florence was full of knowledge. Would highly recommend this tour.

For the price I just wasn’t satisfied. They did pick us up from port, which was nice. However, they waited outside and all other tour guides were inside with a sign clearly stating who they were there for. Then drove to Florence and met with another guide. She was nice but the accent was so thick no one could understand her and I’m really good with accents. She did not walk as with a group but more like she was walking alone. It was not what was described in the tour. We then were given a brief time to eat and then were picked up and went to Pisa. We were dropped down the street and told to walk down road for one hour. We walked past things but were not able to see inside anything. No time to look or sit at all. We did about 6 miles of walking by end of day which was fine for us but for some it may be an issue. We were then picked up and dropped back at port. Overall, before booking again I will really do my research more.

The tour started with a pickup by Alberto outside our ship in Livorno where he took us to Florence for a driving tour and then dropped us off with our walking tour guide Francesca. Both were amazing and we ended up meeting up later to share an incredible lunch with the two of them before heading to Pisa and then back to the ship. It was a lot to put into one day but the best way to see everything you could in one day.

We traveled with 6 people, 3 couples, brothers and sister. Alberto was en excellent driver and had great insight to Florence and Pisa. He supplied us with a knowlegeable guide in Florence named Francesca. We stopped at a great leather store in the square where we were able to purchase gloves, pocketbooks and wallets. Alberto took us to a small quaint authentic Italian dinner that was prepared by Anna Marie. They also surprised my wife and I with an anniversary cake and Champaign at that dinner. After the dinner we were off to Pisa to see that amazing complex. Great tour, highly recommended.

Luigi was fantastic! He was a great driver and tour guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Francesca also gave us a walking tour and she was equally fantastic! We were a family of 7 adults and a 20 mo old baby. They were patient and playful with her. Highly recommend them.

Our cruise line had no options left to visit Florence and Pisa by the time we booked our cruise, so I went on the hunt for a private tour. When I found this tour on Viator we were excited because it was private and less expensive than the options the cruise line had provided. That left some concern, but the minute we were picked up all concerns were alleviated. The driver, vehicle, and tour guides were great and very professional. We had a great time and had a much more personal touch to our tour with it being only our small group of 6, rather than 50 on a bus. I highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful shore excursion with Driver Alberto and Guide Virginia in Florence. Very educational and customizable per group preference. Punctual and organized.

Lorenzo our driver was exceptionally! He was very personable and gave some information about the surrounding area on our drive to Pisa and Florence. If you book this tour ask for Lorenzo as your driver! The walking tour for Florence was a bit rushed.

Booked this tour and paid in advance. Asked for a 730am pick up time. Tour operator told us they would try to arrive by 745am. We needed 3 vans for our family. Only 1 can was there at 745. The others didn’t arrive until 815. We went to Pisa but the place was starting to get crowded but the time all three cans arrived the place was packed. We were then taken to Florence where we met a guide. During our tour of Florence, the guide keep saying “if you guys weren’t late I would be able to show you more”. Disappointed we were treated poorly even though we weren’t the reason we were late.

The tour guide was very accommodating. The car provided was superb and comfortable. The quality of the guides was exceptional. And the price is approximately the same as what the cruise ship was charging for a far more exclusive tour.

The locations were obviously the most memorable however our guide was not organized or prepared so the tour jumped around to such a degree that we did not get to see the inside of the cathedral.

We had a wonderful day visiting Pisa and Florence. Our driver Francesco was on time, easy to find right when we got off the ship and very friendly. He organized a great lunch for our group of 8 at a wonderful restaurant. Our city tour guide, Maria Cristina, was very friendly and informative. We did everything we had hoped for with two young kids! Highly recommend this tour for an overview of these two spots!

We were on an NCL cruise with friends. We booked the majority of our tours with Viator. This one was not the same level as the others. Our driver, Simone, spoke very little and really only provided information when asked. He drove fine, carefully, but also seemed like it was the first time he was driving a large van as he had issues maneuvering it in a few instances. We arrived and departed Pisa on schedule, then headed to Florence. Again, we arrived in the city at the expected time. We were supposed to meet our tour guide, Marco, in the center of the city. However, Simone became lost and couldn't get us to the meeting point. In lieu, Simone found a historic site on the edge of the city and called Marco to meet us there - an hour later than planned. Our tour through Florence was two-hours. Marco showed us what he could in the time provided. Again, with our meeting point on the edge of city walking in and out was about 40 to 50 minutes of our tour time. I'm sure this tour could be well worthwhile but ours didn't work out that way.

We had a Wonderful guide who loved his city of Florence. So much beauty and history! Enjoyed a lunch after our tour of a downtown restaurant. Some Christmas decorations were being put up. Just a great atmosphere!

Excelent Tour Operator. Only, I can say that, because my clients told me, I should say they have a wonderful time.

Francesco was on time and pleasant to be with for the ride. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and able to gave us a quick tour and history of places we wanted to see.

Wonderful, knowledgeable guide named Constanza gave us a two-hour walking tour in Florence hitting the highlights of the history. If you are short on time, this is a great way to see the city!
