The sweetest trip ever. I booked this for my husband and I and we could not have expected this level of service and welcomeness. We appreciate the time both of the operators took to explain each step and share their personal touches about hot air balloon rides. I recommend this for any individual, couple, and/or group who wants a little change from their usual schedule. The special prosecco and breakfast was a pure highlight - but the views made the experience evermore. The spontaneity is letting the wind blow the balloon and not knowing where you'll land! This was such a beautiful experience. I had never done a hot air balloon ride and to do it overlooking Tuscany is a dream. Not to mention that you end your tour with a delicious breakfast with champagne!

The whole experience was wonderful start to finish. They picked us up from our hotel around 6:30am, took us to the field, where the team got the balloon set up for takeoff. We went up in a small balloon with one other couple, and the experience was amazing. Being up in the balloon was so peaceful, and the view was incredible. I was a little bit scared beforehand, but wasn’t at all in the moment. The team was friendly, knowledgeable, and overall great! And the breakfast at the end with the champagne toast was a nice touch. I highly, highly recommend!!

This was hands down one of the most memorable experiences of my life. The company went out of its way to find a location to ensure more optimal weather for the ride. It was so serene to fly up and down and see Tuscany from air. The ride was incredibly smooth as was the landing. This was a bucket list experience for me and it delivered. Would absolutely recommend booking this ride.

Every member of the team was exceptionally friendly, professional, welcoming, and full of good humor. They made everyone feel comfortable, relaxed, and excited for what was to come. The balloon flight itself was simply breathtaking. Floating silently above the rolling Tuscan countryside as the sun slowly rose was one of the most beautiful and peaceful experiences we have ever had. The silence, the golden morning light, the spectacular views, and the feeling of gently drifting with the wind created a moment that is almost impossible to put into words. Our pilot was outstanding. Calm, highly skilled, experienced, and clearly passionate about what he does, he made the entire flight feel effortless and completely safe. From takeoff to landing, everything was absolutely flawless. After landing, we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast that was beautifully organized and the perfect ending to an already magical morning. Even the drive back to the launch site was fun and relaxing, filled with laughter, great conversations, great Italian music and the same genuine hospitality we had experienced from the very beginning. Every single detail was thoughtfully planned and executed with care. This was so much more than a hot air balloon ride, it was a complete experience. The warmth of the team❤️, the exceptional organization, the impeccable professionalism, and the unforgettable beauty of the flight came together to create something truly extraordinary. Thank you to the entire team for giving us memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Some experiences are beautiful, but this one was genuinely unforgettable. Terrific experience all around. We chose the pickup option, and our driver was already there when we arrived early in the morning. The ground crew were awesome, explaining everything as they prepared the balloon for our ride. There were twp balloons that day with 10 people in each. The ride itself was amazing! We were able to fly right over Siena because of the wind direction, which was very lucky! Our pilot was very competent and made us feel at ease for our first time. The scenery was breathtaking and I found the ride to be quite peaceful. The picnic breakfast was a lovely end to the experience! I would highly recommend this!

Our flight was rescheduled due to unexpected storms and safety concerns. The entire team handled the situation professionally and made us feel safe and well taken care of throughout the process. They were extremely helpful and managed to get us in the air the very next day. The experience itself was amazing, and the guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. To top it all off, the experience concluded with a delightful breakfast, making for a perfect ending to an unforgettable adventure.

Even though I wasn’t able to do my balloon ride due to inclement weather I would still very much like to pay my sincere compliments to the tour operator, Renato. He provided such excellent customer service…his genuine sense of caring and concern, his responsiveness and helpfulness all makes me definitely want to try to book another ride with him upon my return to Tuscany. Renato is a credit to Viator!

A wonderful adventure flying over the Tuscan countryside

I was very nervous about my first time in a balloon. I could not have asked for a better experience. The crew was amazing! Luigi, Steven, Jacob and Matthew. Flying with this crew over Tuscany was dreamy!! p.s. The little breakfast at the landing site was delicious!

This was a great experience. My second time on a hot air balloon and it was just as amazing as the first. What a unique and peaceful easy to experience the Tuscan countryside. This team was very experienced with excellent communication before the experience and during it as well, and very friendly staff. The breakfast picnic after landing was perfect.

What an experience! The most beautiful views and cool to see Tuscany from above. The pilot and team were incredible- capable, friendly and funny. We had the best time and would recommend!

Wonderful experience, even I had to wake up at 5am. We had to change the departure from Siena to Florence, because of the weather conditions. The way from Relais Toscano, Asciano (Siena province) was very foggy, but we managed to be in time.

They do a great job in making sure that the flight will be safe, gauging the weather and letting you know if it has to be canceled or moved to a new location. While a new location can be inconvenient it is for your safety. I appreciate the care they take. The experience was extraordinary. The staff was very helpful and they treat you with kindness and respect.

Honestly, I don’t know where to begin… the whole experience was just amazing. Renato must have grown tired of my endless messages looking for reassurance that our booking was all in order just to make sure nothing went wrong, but he always replied immediately, reassuring us that it would all run like clockwork. We were collected at 6.15 am from our hotel in Siena by the lovely Andrea who took us on a 40 minute journey north to a field in the middle of nowhere where we watched like curious children at two balloons which lay on the grass ready to come to life. Every step was fascinating, and we were able to capture it with endless photographs we can’t stop looking at now. Another lovely chap by the name of Jacob welcomed us like royalty- “Everyone is here for you, we wan’t you to enjoy your special day…” The lovely Allie, our pilot, invited us to climb into the basket, took us through safety procedures and made sure very second of the flight went like clockwork. Her calm confidence meant we instantly felt safe… and on a perfect landing she, along with the team, served us celebratory prosecco and a variety of edible treats to round off the morning. The lovely Andrea allowed us to watch as everything was packed away, an operation in itself, and he took us home, giddy on what we’d just experienced with this amazing team. We can’t thank you enough. It was worth every penny to glide serenely through the sky, watching the world come quietly to life below…

Breathtakingly beautiful! The entire experience from beginning to the end was heavenly. Thanks to Pilot Allie we had the best views of Siena. My fear of heights went away with the confidence of Allie. And, the champagne breakfast was perfect.

The team was so professional and knowledgeable - there were people in our balloon that were a little intimidated at first but the staff eased all of the fears away. the views from above the region are breathtaking - the beauty of the rolling hills, the farm lands and vineyards are the stuff of dreams. all while gently gliding in the comfort of a big basket. the team is very communicative and lets you know the details for take off the day before you go. honestly if you are on the fence, do your self a favor and book it. it is unlike anything i have ever done

Very capable balloon operators. I felt safe the entire time! The views were gorgeous. We even saw deer running across several fields. A beautiful experience. Some agility needed to get into the basket , but I'm 74 and made it pretty easily.

The balloon ride was absolutely incredible! It was on my bucket list and what a perfect place to do it over Tuscany- WOW! Our operator Oliver was very knowledgeable and skilled and we felt steady and safe the entire time. The views breathtaking !! Loved the drone footage as well!- so professional. It was our 40th anniversary and truly an unforgettable experience and the highlight of our trip! The return breakfast and champagne toast was a wonderful way to celebrate it all. Perfection! So happy we decided to do this.

An absolutely fabulous experience from start to finish! The entire team was friendly and very knowledgeable in their trade. Our pilot, Alley, was beyond amazing. Super sweet, constantly giving updates on where we were and pointing out interesting sites, and a top notch pilot which was evident throughout our journey. To top off your flight, you land to find a nice spread of local foods and a glass of prosecco. Don’t forget to watch the drone footage they take. It was really fun to see shots of you in the basket during the ride.

Oh my gosh!!! This was seriously the best experience of my life!! Thank you so so much to the entire crew for creating such a memorable experience for my friends and I. Our wonderful driver, Jacob, made the pickup/dropoff process so easy. Our amazing pilot Luigi (Gigi) made us feel safe the entire time and navigated us through some seriously breathtaking views before landing us safely. To be able to see the beauty of Tuscany/Siena from the hot air balloon is something I’ll never forget! Then we finished off with a delicious breakfast and champagne (thank you Carolina), and enjoyed the beautiful Tuscan countryside in the background. If you’re debating booking this experience, definitely do it with this group!! We were also fortunate enough to get very high quality drone footage and pictures because they have one of the few (maybe only) certified drone operators in Europe that is able to do this, and the pictures/videos were stunning! Just a side note that because safety is their top priority, there is a chance the experience could be cancelled if wind conditions aren’t right. We were initially going to do the ballooning over Florence, but this was cancelled the day before due to the wind/weather. However, the team notified us right away and made the process of rebooking us to the Siena balloon tour so easy. Thank you again for a wonderful and unforgettable experience!

This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. The winds weren’t in our favor today for Chianti so we ended up flying over Siena. They accommodated us with a free shuttle pick up from our Airbnb which was amazing. Our pilot today was Gigi and he was the best pilot ! The views were jaw dropping…such an amazing and breath taking experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming , and Jacob , our driver was awesome as well! 10/10 recommend this experience!!!! You will not be disappointed !

It was such an epic experience. The view was breathtaking and I can’t believe we were able to witness it all. Luigi, aka Gigi was amazing. He made us felt safe. I would highly recommend to all that is visiting Italy to take this opportunity.

Mornings can be cold so bring layers. Balloon team were professional and attentive to everyone’s experience. If you pay for pick up service, be sure you know how to use WhatsApp to be able to contact the driver in the morning.

The epic views of the countryside. Our pilot guided us through a valley literally brushing the tree tops, so good. We did however fall a little short on the 1 hour experience

This was our first balloon trip, and it was magical. In fact, the whole experience from booking, through to getting a ride back to our starting point was very pleasant. I cannot say enough good things about our pilot Tommaso, who took us up in the air, varied the trip through different elevations and his textbook landing. I was also glad we opted to pay a little more to have less passengers on board. Thank you, Tommaso and the entire Balloon Team Tuscany.

Our ride took place on a beautiful and calm morning. The views are incredible and the staff is highly competent. May not be cheap but a once in a lifetime experience.

We were unable to make this trip happen due to weather. They tried every possible way to make it happen but it just didn’t work out. Very disappointed but the company is wonderful and refunded my money in a timely manner.

If you’re on the fence about booking this experience, DO IT! You will never regret having a beautiful birds-eye-view of Tuscany from a hot air balloon! It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. We had good communication from staff the afternoon before, confirming the flight and meeting point. Our pilot seemed very experienced and confident. We had a very ideal landing and were immediately given croissants and Prosecco while the crew loaded up all the equipment, then we were shuttled us back to our starting point. It was a very smooth process from start to finish.

Entire experience was amazing. Excellent service, and our pilot Orlando was so experienced and knowledgeable! We flew straight over Siena and enjoyed a beautiful and precise landing followed by bubbly and delicious sweet and savory breakfast baked goods. A truly wonderful experience overall.
