Thanks to Michele for a fantastic guided visit through the park of Tenuta San Rossore! With his help as an official guide, we entered trails not open to the public. His generous spirit and knowledge kept everyone satisfied and stimulated many questions and good conversation. He made me feel welcome as a non-Italian, too. 😎 I highly recommend his trekking tours and hope to take another one.

Beautiful sunny day, good organization, it is worth effortlessly crossing one of the green lungs of Tuscany: the San Rossore pine forest. I am referring to the excursion in the Orange area carried out with an e-bike rented at the Pisa train station. Try it to believe it....
Beautiful experience at San Rossore Park with Michele from Vado e Vedo. The park is a spectacular nature reserve, covering several hectares, with Mediterranean scrub, marshy areas, and a beach: inside there are manor villas, a racetrack, and farmhouses with local breeds of domestic animals (horses, cows, and even dromedaries). The history of this place is long and fascinating. The walk included the avenue of maritime pines, up to Gombo beach, with adventures on the forest trails: we managed to see two fallow deer fleeing and a marten, and several tracks. Michele showed he has a great knowledge of the history of the place, the fauna, and the flora, as well as a deep environmental ethic (the story of the killer crayfish is interesting). An exceptional excursion guided with passion and firmness, capable of conveying true respect for nature even in the most complex moments of the day. Highly recommended!
Excellent excursion with Michele! Beautiful day between San Rossore and the sea, made special by Michele's guidance: knowledgeable, kind, and always attentive to the group. Pleasant route, interesting explanations, and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended experience.
Michele is a perfect guide from every point of view highly recommended
Positive and memorable experience, immersed in the enchanting nature of San Rossore The guide Michele🔝🔝🔝 I truly recommend it. I hope to do more soon. FEDERICA
Today's guided tour with Michele was a truly extraordinary experience. He accompanied us into the wildest and most pristine areas of the park, areas normally closed to the unaccompanied public. His explanations were never trivial: he enriched us with historical and faunal details of great interest, conveyed with genuine and contagious passion. Halfway through the route, we treated ourselves to a moment of pure relaxation on the beautiful Gombo beach. With a bit of luck, a little patience, and the right silence, it is possible to spot fallow deer up close, but also wild boars, foxes, and the rich fauna typical of the estate. I highly recommend this tour even to those who, like me, have been visiting the park for years. Thanks to Michele's guidance and enthusiasm, from today I have learned to love and respect it even more.
Thank you, Michele, for accompanying us in discovering the Park, guiding us with passion and expertise through history, anecdotes, and curiosities about this extraordinary natural heritage that we are fortunate to have just a few steps away from us. Despite the exceptional heat, it was truly a beautiful, engaging experience rich in insights. An excursion that I recommend without any doubt. I invite everyone to participate in initiatives like this: only by experiencing these places firsthand can we truly understand their value, beauty, and the fundamental role they play for the environment, the territory, and our quality of life. For this reason, I believe it is essential to invest more and more in their protection and enhancement, with concrete commitment from the institutions, both at the local and national levels. The Park is not just a natural heritage: it is a common good, a precious legacy to be preserved and passed on!
Michele guided us through the beautiful estate of San Rossore, providing us with many interesting historical and naturalistic insights, while also addressing environmental preservation issues
Beautiful excursion today, June 14th, we reached the Gombo beach by crossing woods and pine forests. Highly recommended, especially for the availability and expertise of the guide Michele Colombini, who explained the secrets of the park. We will repeat this. Alessandro and Arianna
A beautiful walk within the San Rossore estate, skillfully guided by the very kind and knowledgeable guide Michele. Thank you!
A walk to Gombo beach is a beautiful immersion in nature, with Michele as an excellent, engaging, and knowledgeable guide.
A beautiful walk in the San Rossore estate until we reach the wonderful Gombo beach, accompanied by a very knowledgeable guide, Michele di Vado e Vedo!
Michele accompanied us on this beautiful experience among suggestive and lush landscapes. Everything at a calm pace that made us appreciate even more the experience we were living. Unfortunately, the Tuscany region does little to safeguard a treasure that deserves more attention and consideration.
Pleasant walk inside the reserve of San Rossore booked through the Vado e Vedo website. Visit made on May 1 with Michele as guide. A person at hand, nice, who puts passion into his work and shows himself. Thanks to him, we explored areas (including the Gombo beach) that you normally do not have the opportunity to visit. At the end of the day we did 16 km and we didn't even notice how good we were. Relaxing walk with lots of breaks and also moments of relaxation, all within the reach of anyone. Day spent in great company!
Really recommended a visit to the park with a guide who tells you details of the environments. We visited the park on May 1st and it was a great experience. Leaving behind confusion we were able to enter with the guide Michele Colombini in the areas where it is possible to enter only if accompanied. Overrecommended, the park is very large and we could appreciate the best things. Arriving on the beautiful beach of Gombo was exciting, we could have our meal in an incredible location, completely immersed in nature. After being careful not to leave rubbish we also collected plastic and objects that the sea regurgitates on the beach. A small ecological contribution. Returned by wild and silent shortcuts we stayed until late afternoon. Suitable for all
Beautiful excursion to the San Rossore Park with destination to the Gondo beach. Leaving after the entrance the many families intent on organizing barbecues for the May Day party we began to walk the park and as we approached the red zone we immersed ourselves in the beautiful landscape. The apotheosis was arriving on the beach, certainly thanks to the beautiful day, where we could take a nice lunch break. Then we returned for other very wild, but immensely beautiful routes. We were happy to learn so many concepts that Michele has described in detail, we will follow the next programs with curiosity. Thank you so much
Nice experience, Michele excellent speaker and companion
Beautiful excursion on April 25 of the San Rossore Park to the sea. Excellent guide who accompanied us. Recommended.
Highly recommended excursion, even for locals, because you enter areas that are otherwise inaccessible. Michele is an experienced and prepared guide, who knows how to convey the love and enthusiasm that he has for these areas. The arrival at the sea then is a spectacle!
Great experience!!. Walk through nature that seems untouched made of an incredible variety of vegetation and animals. Day that filled my eyes and cleansed my soul and that I spent with beautiful people known on the spot. All behind the masterful guidance of Michele, who made us immerse ourselves in a fantastic place lived in space and time, with simplicity 'and a lot of sympathy. See you next time!
A walking and discovery experience between the varied green of the park and the blue of the sky and sea. The red zone of the estate does not provide free access but only with the guide and Michele knows how to transmit the love for the environment and the territory he knows well.
spectacular day with route from San Rossore to the beach.. Michele extraordinary guide very nice and that explains very well .. made us discover things that I did not even imagine, from Pisano as they are , great day to redo
Probably a great park. But very badly indicated with google maps. (We arrived too late for the guided tour). Follow ippodromo, localita cascine vecchie, tourist center. Enjoy it!
Beautiful walk in contact with nature
Beautiful hope in a fascinating territory!! Special thanks to our very prepared and nice guide who explained many interesting things!! Highly recommended!
Beautiful trekking in the San Rossore Park to the Spiaggia del Gombo. Michele Colombini, our guide, guided us through this park among swamps, forests and animals, with professionalism and sympathy. I highly recommend it.
I participated in the San Rossore trekking to the sea with the association Vado e Vedo and I must say that it was a simply perfect day! The route is something magical: you cross different landscapes until you reach the extraordinary Petrified Forest, a place that really leaves you speechless. The organization of Vado e Vedo is impeccable and the atmosphere of the group was super pleasant, but a special mention goes to the guide Michele Colombini: competent, passionate and very nice, able to tell the territory with curiosity and a lot of knowledge. Walking in this wonderful corner of San Rossore, until you come out in front of the sea, is an experience that fills your eyes and heart. Nature, history, companionship and beauty: all in perfect balance. Highly recommended for those who love walking but also be surprised — I will definitely go back to walking with Vado e Vedo and with Michele! 😊
A beautiful experience enhanced by a competent guide
Really unforgettable experience
The excursion to the San Rossore park was a truly significant experience. Beautiful scenery, unexpected encounters with the local fauna and enchanted atmosphere. Michele Colombini, the guide, a very prepared and competent person who brought us into the atmosphere of the place in a non-trivial way but rather "educating" and sensitizing us to a correct coexistence with nature. Highly recommended
Beautiful and interesting excursion led by the talented Michele, expert and prepared guide. The estate of San Rossore is a fascinating place full of surprises. Recommended
Passionate and competent, Michele Colombini accompanied us to discover the estate of San Rossore, Pisa. Among fallow deer and foxes, immersed in the scent of pines, myrtles and helichrysum, we arrived at the sea, in the beach of Gombo. Thanks to a bright sunny day, the walk was instructive and pleasant. Try it!
Of this excursion I really liked the place, the company met and the guide, very competent. I will definitely return, san rossore remains in your heart
Yesterday we did the excursion in the Park of San Rossore and sunset at the beach of Gombo with Michele. Interesting experience and beautiful walk in a magnificent nature accompanied by explanations of Michele. Beautiful sunset at Gombo
Pretty day at the San Rossore Park in good company Michele very prepared and nice.... an experience to try in the middle of NATURE
Expert guide Michele guided us to the Gombo telling San Rossore like a fairy tale. Very interesting recommend a day nature and history
Excursion 24/05/2025 Tenuta di San Rossore up to the sea, easily bookable, very fascinating because you walk in nature and very interesting the historical part of the Park that our guide Michele described to us, very prepared and passionate about his work, also talking about the animals that live there.
Excursion in the wonderful natural park of San Rossore with a competent guide who enchanted us with anecdotes, history and stories aimed at raising awareness of natural aspects. During the excursion we also had pleasant encounters with some animals: fallow deer, wild boar, bats, bee-eaters. We listened to the concert of the frogs and were enlivened by the song of the leaves crossed by the wind until we reached the wild beach of Gombo with its forest of "petrified" pine trees. I highly recommend.
The visit was really interesting. Michele Colombini told us the story in a concise but very exhaustive way, also with regard to flora and fauna of the place the explanations were very curious and interesting. Easy to book.thanks
Beautiful excursion in nature to the sea, easy, beautiful landscapes, stuffed with many explanations, anecdotes and curiosities provided by the guide Michele, prepared and enthusiastic about his work
