Tour did not run to time, and then there was an additonal stop to do cake tasting. This was not advertised on the itinerary and made the tour run an hour late. This additional stop felt unnecessary and not in keeping with the wine tasting.

Excellent way to explore the Chianti vineyards, medieval villages and the Tuscan countryside if you don’t have a rental or want to simply enjoy wine tasting. We went to two vineyards, a beautiful castle with an amazing sunset, a medieval town with lots of history and a dessert tasting final stop which was a nice surprise. The trip is long and getting a taxi back to the hotel at night was a little challenging on a Saturday night but a very good half day trip! Highly recommended
It was a good experience but our guide couldn’t join us until the very end. To rectify this they threw on an extra biscuit tasting at the end which we were not expecting. This made us miss our last bus back to the village we were staying at. That resulted in an expensive cab fare.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and we really enjoyed the places we visited. Our only issue was the “hard sell” at the last winery.
Our tour guide was caught in traffic from Florence, but we were kept informed. It wasn't a small group, we had about 25. The tour was fantastic with plenty of time at each stop. It went overtime, which was excellent value for money. Our guide was a little shy with limited English, and could have given more info en route. Overall... woukd recommend.
Valesca has a cheerful and positive energy. Your experience through Tuscany will only get better with her and Massimo as guides. Highly recommend.
This was a great and packed tour. You visit two wineries and two villages with an informative tour guide in a small group. Great value for money. The first winery let you taste three wines and at the second you got to taste 6 with snacks. It was all really good and fun.
This was a wonderful tour. Just the right length. Valenza and Mossimo were wonderful tour guides and bus drivers. Very enjoyable experience.
The entire tour was wonderful and informative. The locations we saw were so beautiful and the wine was amazing. The hosts at the wineries were very enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge and history of the vineyard
This was a good tour, however, small group to me means 10 people or less. This was definitely closer to 30 plus people, and felt a bit like herding cats. The vineyards were nice, and well prepared for us. The two towns we visited were lovely. Overall, was an ok trip. I would have liked to see more of the actual vineyards rather than just the tasting rooms.
The reason for the rating THIS NEVER OCCURRED IT WAS CANCELLED 1 DAY prior to the booking I paid the tour well in advance then was offered another tour yes offered another tour 1.Not 8 but 20 people 2.No tuscan villa wine tasting it was a winery 3.No maps provided with all the non guide tikmes all day 4.The second half of the day waste of time as we had 1 1/2 hours to browse a wine making town with few shops open then 5Not 20 but 30 people sitting in a garden tasting red wine no wine tour at all and to offer a toilet in the open garden was disgusting
We loved everything about this tour! Both wineries were fabulous and we loved exploring at the other stops. Luca was a wonderful guide, so full of information, kind and funny, and most of all so patient!
Fantastico! Winery tastings were informative, fun and delicious. The bonus stops in two little towns put this over the top for me. Really great experience and our guide V and driver Fernando were wonderful.
Such a beautiful day in Tuscany! The views were incredible, the wines were amazing, and everything was perfectly organized. Highly recommend! We had an excellent tour guide (Val) and driver (Dontorel).
The 2 wineries visited were both very nice…the wine at the 2nd (along with the balsamic vinegar) was exceptional. 2 historic site stops in addition made this a complete experience. Actually compared to some tours this felt like a great value!
Our guide Luca was very knowledgeable and gave great information all day throughout the tour. He had good recommendations for restaurants in the cities we visited, and explained the different wines and products very well. The tour itself was nice, with visits to two wineries and some cities with impressive views over the hillside in Tuscany.
We loved this! I wanted to be in the countryside for a Sunday afternoon and this was a great choice. Very comfortable 8-person van. Terrific guide. Beautiful drive in countryside going to two small towns I couldn't have gotten to on my own. Two very different and marvelous tastings with great hosts. Tour was exactly as promised only better.
Thank you so much to Valesca and Massimo for providing us with an amazing tour! I would recommend it to people who'd love to learn more about wine. We loved it! Grazie mille
Tour host was extremly knowledgeable and created a friendly atmosphere on the mini-bus. The 2 wine tasting experiences were excellent, but contrasting. One being more of a family vine yard located on an old Tuscan farm in the hills, the other being a dedicated tasting / function venue, hosted by a charismatic Sommelier. Quality of wine superb and from my hazy memory exceeded the 7 glasses advertised! Only down side was disorganised pick-up at station. Having a wine tour notice on bus and having host there at stated meet time, 15 mins before departure. Italian speaking driver turned several clients away before host arrived. Still a 5-Star tour though, as rest of afternoon made up for this.
Great trip, with entertaining, helpful and friendly guide “Val”, and safe driver “Sal”. Comfortable air conditioned mini coach, with a visit to 2 wineries and 2 small towns. Enjoyed the day, but…. This trip would be far better with an extra 30 minutes in each location. Felt rushed, would have been nice to either explore more, or sit and relax and enjoy a nice glass of Chianti!!
Valeska was a wonderful tour guide and both tastings were great! We had thought about going to a couple of vineyards on our own but it was well worth the little bit extra for the tour. I definitely recommend it.
You’ll have to get transportation to the meeting point. Make sure to wear walking shoes and check the weather. Guides are knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend for groups or even if traveling solo!
It was a wonderful tour. Luca was informative and had a great sense of humor. The wineries we visited were welcoming and the tasting great. I highly recommend this tour.
It was relaxing. Love our guide, don’t remember her name, a nice girl from Venezuela who spoke several languages, had a very engaging voice . The driver was nice and patient, nice little towns we visited. Delicious wine!
The tour was fantastic! Loved both wineries and the stops in the villages. Worth every penny! Our tour guide was great.
Well organized, really informative and perfectly paced tour from Siena to local villages and wineries. We had a great driver Stelaiska (sorry if spelling not right) and awesome tour leader Valeska who had great energy and looked after the group so well. Highly recommend this tour.
Wonderful experience enjoying Chianti and the wine and olive oil culture it offers. Our guide Valeska and our driver Salvario were terrific hosts and ensured everyone on the tour had a fun and safe day! Definitely recommend this experience - 10/10.
Well organised tour with just the right amount of wineries and other experiences. 5 hrs went so fast! Met some lovely people on the tour from all over the world. Our leader was great.
Only about 30 minutes per town/castle, so if you want to climb the castle in the first stop do that first. But a phenomenal tour, great guide, and fantastic wine and snacks
Very informative tour with a lot of good wine to taste. Stops in a quiet tuscan hilltop village, teo wineries and a medival castle.
Great tour. The castles and the wineries were great. A lot of different wines to taste, but also gained knowledge of the region and the winemaking process. Just one warning. If you get car sick easily, make sure you bring your remedy. The roads are curvy and bumpy.
A really enjoyable and interesting trip, fortunate and grateful to be with a really great group. The wine was excellent too.
Unfortunately broken air-conditioning made the van ride unbearably hot and sweaty—very uncomfortable for hours with a larger group of 14. Both wineries were great and were the saving grace for everyone!
The wineries on offer were really good and memorable experiences. What let this tour down was the disorganisation of the provider. It was a very hot day in Siena (around 33 degrees celsius), but the air conditioning in the van was blowing hot air at best. Additionally, pick-up and drop-off for this tour needs to be somewhere in central Siena rather than the train station. There is very limited public transport or taxi availability at the Siena train station when we are getting dropped off at 7pm. Even if it takes a bit longer, there are way more connections from the town centre to get back to our accommodation.
We had such a wonderful time on this tour! Valesca and Luigi were the best! Valesca speaks fluent Italian, English and Spanish and was extremely pleasant and kept the group running on time. The wineries were excellent. The two towns were amazing. Luigi was a fantastic driver who kept us all safe. I recommend this tour!
We enjoyed our trip - there were 2 wineries and both were very different. The stop in the little town was ok. Just shops and walking around.
Valeska and Mohamed! What a trip! I loved our time with you. The wineries were so different, both wonderful in their own unique way. Valeska told us all about the Sienese contrasts, and we spent last evening and this morning seeking out the different flags and crests. What a fun tour!
Both wineries had excellent wine tastings with knowledgeable and friendly hosts. Our guide did a great job describing the Chianti region and history. The town and castle were highlights too.
This wine tour is amazing , our guide was friendly and interesting We recommend a small group tour Great scenery great vino great day Not to be missed
We had an amazing afternoon of touring the Tuscan region with Valeska as our fun tour guide and Mohammed as a very safe driver! The 2 wineries were informative and the guides at the wineries were interactive, personable, and taught us so much about wines. I would highly recommend this tour!!!
It was a wonderful opportunity to see the Tuscany countryside and taste wines of the region. Velasca is an informative guide who made the trip interesting and fun and Antonio drove us safely throughout our travels. Besides visiting two wineries we visited villages also. It was a very beautiful way to see more of Tuscany!
A fun afternoon stopping for two wine tastings and time to walk through 2 castle towns. Vatresca ( Our guide) and driver Marco were great. Tour started promptly. A great way to get a taste of Tuscany!
The tour was well organized. The group was not too big and I never felt I was being herded or rushed along. Guide Luca was very well informed on the history of the area and could switch back and between English, Spanish, and Italian with amazing facility. The Chianti countryside is absolutely stunning.
Ale and Geovani were fantastic. They taught us a lot about he region were very friendly and made sure we all had a good time.
Lucas our guide was very knowledgable and the information he shared along the way was very interesting. Our driver was excellent and the minibus very luxurious. The two vineyards were charming and so much fun! Our only comment would be calling into the castle on the way back, at this time of year, was probably a mistake, it was dark and all the shops and bars were closed. Perhaps in the winter months the castle stop could be before the second vineyard. But all in all a fabulous and very enjoyable excursion. Highly recommend.
I had a deeply disappointing experience with this wine tour. After booking and receiving confirmation, the guide never showed up on the scheduled day. We waited for over an hour, tried reaching out to the company multiple times, but received no response. We especially traveled by train to Siena for this tour, and they never showed up, which is very unprofessional. It completely ruined our plans and wasted our time. If you value your time and money, I’d recommend finding a more reliable tour operator. This experience was unacceptable, and I hope they improve their communication and accountability in the future.
Great tour and driver/guide. The only problem was that the sun had already set when we arrived in Monteriggioni, would have been nice to see in daylight.
Our guide, Vincenzo, was amazing! Knowledgeable, fun, patient and a great driver! He stopped for me when there was a great photo op and answered all of our questions.
Enjoyable drive thru the countryside. 1 really good wine tasting at Poggio ai Laghi and an OK one at Lornano. Stopped at 2 very charming villages. Would have given 5 Stars but for our driver, Toto. He was very nice but gave virtually no information about anything, anywhere. So it all felt a tad bit aimless. Still, it was a nice day and we would recommend it.
Friendly and knowledgeable driver. We got to see the beauty of the Chianti region and enjoy a wine tasting. A very enjoyable experience.
