Guided E-bike Tour With Wine Tasting From Lucca

Incredible tour through Lucca! My husband and I loved this tour so much and our guide was so sweet and knowledgeable!! The family winery is so stunning!!

The scenery was beautiful, and the bikes were modern and well-maintained, making the ride enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and felt safe throughout. Our guide, Luca, was friendly, enthusiastic and entertaining. He clearly knew his history and was more than happy to answer all our questions, which added to the experience. The ride could have been a little longer. Julia at the winery was lovely and welcoming. However, the lunch and wine tasting were basic. We would have appreciated visiting more than one winery. Overall, it was a great experience and a lovely way to spend a couple of hours.

This was fun. We were in a small group. Just know that there was bike travel on a few busy streets to get to the country roads that were much less traveled. Luca was fun and informative and very conscientious of his group and our safety. Small but very nice winery.

We had a wonderful experience on this “excursion!” Ciara (might be misspelled) was a terrific guide! Friendly, patient, knowledgeable and competent. We enjoyed the tour of the Lucca walls and accompanying stories/info at each stop. And then into the countryside for a local, family run winery for a tour, tasting and light lunch. It was a beautiful day, we enjoyed spending time with other guests and experiencing Lucca from a different vantage point. A great way to spend some time in this area!

This was hands-down, one of the best experiences from our trip. All of the staff were helpful with informing us on how to use the e-bike and getting us situated. Our guide, Kiara, was so knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the city. Her attentiveness towards iur safety was greatly appreciated. The family owned winery portion of the tour felt straight out of a movie. One of the employees, Julia, gave us an inside look into their wine making process. The wine cellar had a collection of family photos spanning the establushment of the winery to present day. This personal touch showed just how much pride the family has in continuing their family business and tradition. Following the tour, we had a chance to relax and taste a selection if their wines accompanied by fantasitic charcuterie. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a personalized and fun way to explore the city of Lucca.

So much fun! Loved biking on the wall and in the countryside. The winery tour was very informative and the wine & food delicious. Our tour guide told us many interesting and fun facts about the area.

Brillant guide Lucca very imformative and intresting .Cycle easy with e bike.The tour brought us into countryside which was intresting to cycle through.Winery was lovely and they provided us with 3 wine tastings and some lovely cheese ham breads and some biscuits .What a beautiful setting .

We had a wonderful e-bike tour with Lucca! (yes, he has the same name as the city) Traveling with a group of friends, we explored the pretty Lucca walls, which are tree-lined and wide for biking and walking. Then we biked through the beautiful countryside of Lucca. We stopped for a wine tour and small bite at a local family-run, winery. It was one of our favorite days in Tuscany! It was informative, fun, safe, and interesting! Thank you, Lucca, for being a great tour guide!! Highly recommend.

It was a great way to see the beautiful area and learn the history of Lucca. Our guide was great! The e-bikes made the hills a piece of cake. The vineyard was a lovely, small family operation that has been operating for generations. A very nice lunch was included. I was sure to bring some wine home to enjoy for later.

We thoroughly enjoyed this experience. We had a very knowledgeable young man that could answer everything we threw at him. The journey along the wall was beautiful and it was a great opportunity to see a little of the countryside as we approached the vineyard on our bikes.

The guide had extensive knowledge of Lucca and the surrounding area, and she shared it with great passion. As a wine enthusiast, I found the tasting to be rather rustic, but it was also charming and authentic. Overall, this is definitely a tour I would recommend.

Completely loved this tour. You get to bike around the wall. You see the country side. You visit a lovely family run winery. Not sure what more you could want. The tour guide was friendly and kind. They supply helmets if you want them. The bike is very easy to use.

The tour was fabulous. Great guide -Claudia-, bikes well maintained and easy to operate, the riding was easily achievable, the meal and wine tasting was amazing. Loved it all.

Ride was easy and well managed. Stops with history shared along the wall was enjoyable. It is an e-bike so even the hill was manageable. Most of us don’t ride often but all was smooth.

A beautiful bike ride along the wall and then to the countryside and winery. Lucca was very informative and safety minded with the tour. I have to say Italy has been one of the most beautiful fragrant okaces Ive been and this area did not disappoint. After touring the winery they had a table set up in the vinayard where they had the tastinf and bites. It was a great experience. Highly recommend!

A beautiful bike ride on the city wall and a lovely experience at a small winery in the countryside. Claudia was wonderful at navigating our ride.

This required very little energy given the motorized bikes. It was busy on the walls of the city, but our guide provided interesting history at different stops along the walls. The ride to the winery was beautiful. This was our favorite excursion during our time in Tuscany.

An experience for anyone in any level, If you’re not a bike rider, you’ve never used an E bike. It doesn’t matter . The ride was beautiful. You ride through the city to the countryside and end up at a small vineyard. The vineyard was small and quaint. We ate outside. It felt like we were in a movie. Our guide was knowledgeable, very fun! The Vineyard was family owned, and nobody tried to sell you anything which I really appreciate appreciated!! Once again, 10 out of 10!!

Lucca was very engaging, informative and entertaining. He was safety conscious to ensure all of the group were comfortable on the E-bikes and were able to manage the ride. He was fun and we would highly recommend Lucca as a tour guide. The bikes were in very good condition and easy to ride. The food and wine tasting was great and very relaxed.

Do not hesitate to book this E-bike and wine tasting experience! We went from inside the walls of Lucca to the winery in the hills. Our guide Luca was exceptional. He was full of life and happy to share the history of Lucca. The lunch was fabulous as well as the wine. Will always remember this fun time in Lucca.

Great value. The tour shows the contrast with Lucca’s city status and the nearby countryside. The vine yard was interesting and informative with excellent wine and a selection of meats, cheese and bread which was very filling. Would throughly recommend.

Had a lovely tour and wine tasting with Cara. Bikes were great, Cara was very knowledgeable and made it fun. The winery was really lovely - small family run , lovely wines and lunch. A great way to spend a couple of hours around lucca ! Highly recommend.

Great tour, very cool ride along the top of the city wall and into the farm country. Guide was great answering questions and making sure we were all together in traffic. Ebike makes the ride very doable for everyone. We even got a flat tire at the winery, a quick phone call and 10 minutes later a new bike was delivered. Beautiful sights along the wall and into the countryside going to the winery.

The E-bikes made the bike riding very easy and fun. Our guide, Luca, was very friendly and informative and looked after us while riding. We had a great time at the winery where everyone was very friendly. The wine was great and we were stuffed after the lunch.

This was an excellent tour. We recieved a wonderful guide in Sarah - very knowledgeable about the area and the history of the city we explored. The bike ride was fun - the winery was beautiful - overall it exceeded all expectations.

A highlight of our visit to Lucca was the e-bike and wine tasting tour organised by Tourist Centre Lucca. Led by a knowledgeable and cheery guide, coincidentally called Luca, we started with a lap on-top of Lucca city walls. Luca paused regularly to explain the history of the city and the walls construction. We then rode out through the suburbs into the countryside at an easy pace. The e-bikes made the riding almost effortless even as we climbed the hills to the vineyard. After a tour of the winemaking we enjoyed a plentiful lunch and 3 glasses of their wine. All conducted in perfect English we would recommend this trip to anyone visiting Lucca.

Great guide and e-bikes were fun! A lovely wine tasting! We would have enjoyed a bit more time biking around Lucca. We thought the price was a bit high.

Beautiful area, e-bikes were great, and guide was outstanding. Milana provided a great tour of central Lucca followed by a beautiful ride to Fratelli Urbana vineyard. Milana's extensive knowledge and safe guidance made for a very nice tour.

Our tour guide Marta’s very special. Because of the rain we could not take the bikes, but she walk us around the Lucca wall with so much information. Van to the wine tasting and lunch where Julia was also wonderful. No bikes but no problem it was still worth the tour

An excellent tour, with the ebikes making it an easy outing. The bikes were of good quality and in fine working condition. Our guide Cara was very good, offering interesting information about history Lucca as we rode around the splendid park topping the 4 km Renaissance walls of the old town, before heading off to the winery in the hills outside of Lucca. The small quaint winery has been family-run for four generations. Not at all a slick experience, we did a simple tour of the winery before having a lovely al fresco lunch with wine in the pastoral yard overlooking the hills of Lucca. It is nice that only a very small part of the bike ride, when you first leave the walls, is on roads where you have any significant car traffic.

So much fun! Beautiful day and scenic ride to the vineyard. I had only ridden an e-bike once before but I was given full instructions. They also offered a helmet for safety.

Perfect way to spend a portion of a day while in Lucca. The company did a wonderful job and Sara, our guide was terrific! We picked up the bikes right near the Lucca train station- which was an easy walk from our hotel- then we rode along the elevated peripheral park which is in Lucca. Sara stopped along the way giving us interesting history and facts. It was a beautiful ride through Lucca’s parks. We then went outside the walled city for about a 30minute ride into the country to the family owned winery. It was so beautiful and such a fun place to have a tasting, tour and lunch. We had a wonderful day and I highly recommend this tour if it interests you. Such a fond memory for our stay in Italy!

This was the true Italian experience we were looking for! Truly it was the most relaxing and enjoyable experience we could have had and would have never had a chance to see one of the oldest family owned vineyards. I can’t stress enough how great it was!!

With a fantastic guide, we had a lovely 3 hour experience riding around the walled city of Lucca, ending with a guided tour of a local winery where we lunched and tasted the wines. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and the bikes were easy to ride, we all really enjoyed the experience.
