A Brunello Cooking Class With Vineyards View Winery

Kat was amazing. Class was well organized and instruction was clear and easy. We made some fantastic pasta and a great tiramisu. Very engaging and so much fun!

Amazing experience learning about the vineyard and then ended up with a cooking class, making two kinds of pasta and tiramisu then sitting outside overlooking the vineyards while enjoying the meal we cooked! Makes you never want to leave Italy. The wines were fantastic! Our chef was so amazing. I would recommend this to anyone who is spending time in the Tuscany area.

Alice, who gave our tour, and Alexandra, who was our chef and instructor, were both absolutely wonderful! The setting, the food, the history, the hospitality were all exceptional! This was a wonderful way to learn about this history of Siena, as well as learn how to prepare a beautiful Tuscan feast. Highly recommend for those looking for a special way to immerse yourself in the unique Siena culture.

Really fabulous Tuscan experience!! The class was so much fun, the food and wine were absolutely delicious and our instructors were great! This is such a fun day and a great thing to do. We also had the added benefit of seeing a sunset over the Tuscan hillside while eating our meal. You won’t be disappointed!! They also accommodated our gluten free family member as well!! We had such a great time at this pasta-making class! Cat was awesome! She made the whole experience so fun and easy to follow. We loved learning how to make fresh pasta from scratch, and getting to eat what we made was even better! Such a fun experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful evening learning to cook with Alexandra and Niccolo - they came to the villa we were renting. They came totally prepared to teach us delicious food and wine pairings. We learned to make bruschetta, Tiramisu, 2 types of handmade pasta -Tagliatelle, spinach and feta ravioli and a lovely meat dish! It was all so amazing! Alex and Nico were so much fun to interact with - they were great teachers and we learned a lot that we will be able to use at home! Would definitely recommend this to everyone!

We had an amazing time at this cooking class! Kat was an excellent instructor—super upbeat, friendly, and genuinely fun to be around. We made tagliatelle, ravioli, and tiramisu, and got to taste a few wines along the way. What really made the experience special was the atmosphere. Cat kept things lighthearted and playful, making everyone feel comfortable joking around, asking questions, and getting to know each other. Nothing felt overly formal or stuffy. Her excellent English was also a big plus for us as American tourists, making everything easy to follow. Great food, great company, incredible view, and a fantastic instructor. Definitely one of the highlights of our time in Tuscany!

Terrific experience! The venue was beautiful and preparing our own ravioli, Parpadelle, and tiramisu was a lot of fun. Mariarita was the best!

The perfect taste of Tuscany that I wanted for my parents’ first time in Italy. From the greeting and tour of the winery by Mariarita, to the hands-on pasta making class, to eating dinner and toasting with Brunello wine at sunset overlooking the hills of Tuscany…WOW…what an experience! One that we will remember forever! Kat was an amazing pasta making coach! Cute, funny, passionate. We loved her and the special touch she gave to our class. The sweet kitchen, paneled with windows of the colorful hills while making pasta…well…you must take my word for it. Perfecto!! In the end, we bought the amazing wine, left with VERY full bellies, and had warmth in our hearts. Thank you for such a wonderful afternoon. If I could give more stars, I would!!!

Our cooking chef, Kay, was so much fun! She was knowledgeable, funny and helped everyone have a good time. We only wish we could have had more of the wine throughout the entire experience. We had less than 2 glasses of wine for 2-3 hours of cooking and dining. The winery tour was awesome with the owner’s nephew personally taking us through the entire operation, the Brunello history and the family history. This was a great time and one I highly recommend.

We arranged to have Alexandra and Niccolo come to a small villa we rented and they came well prepared … it was a fantastic evening. We learned so much! From the tastiest bruschetta to pasta making to tiramisu … lots of great tips and tricks were shared so we will have the confidence to attempt this at home. The wine pairings were exceptional as well. But what made it outstanding was their passion and expertise and the lively, fun way they engaged with us throughout the night. Their personalities just made the evening perfect. A 10 out of 10. We would highly recommend!

My fiance and I had the best time at this cooking class! We started off with a brief tour of the castle and learned about the winery. Afterwards we met our chef and instructor, Cat, in the old chicken coop for a fantastic class with amazing views. Cat made the experience unforgettable. She is so fun and made Italian cooking feel approachable. The food we made was delicious, and the wines were some of the best we had on the whole trip. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Italy.

Wow, what an excellent, top notch experience! From the venue (a 14th century, preserved castle!), to the cooking experience with Kat with a view (incredible), and the history of the property (still family run and lived in) from Sarah… this exceeded our expectations. Such fresh, quality ingredients, and wine tasting/pairings! I’m so glad we booked this. And they were especially patient and accommodating with us running slightly behind due to driving in from Florence. I don’t know what else to say other than BOOK IT! Exceptional value.

Experience was amazing! We loved the food we made, we learnt so much and Matteo and Kat were lovely and made the experience very enjoyable! The wine was wonderful and learning about the winery was very interesting.

Our cooking class with Cat is an absolute highlight of our three week trip to Italy. There were some issues with the booking, but Mariarita was generous and accommodating despite it all. Emma at Tricerchi was so wonderful, an excellent guide throughout the winery and so sweet! The entire experience with Cat from start to finish was simply amazing. She was so welcoming, so knowledgeable and so personable! We were so lucky to have the class just to ourselves, but I can imagine even with a large group it would still be beyond enjoyable. The setting is so beautiful - the value you get for the price is extremely fair. We will forever recommend the cooking class experience here, especially if you can cook with Cat! Cat - if you are ever in Santa Fe we will repay you with some delicious authentic tamales!

Chefs Alexandra and Kat are fabulous. With the backdrop of beautiful Tuscany rolling hills that looked like they were from a painting, we learned to make ravioli, togliatelli and Tiramisu. And it all culminated into a lovely and delicious Toscana lunch with a view and a lovely breeze. We give it 5 Stratman. Outstanding.
