Hotel Valdarno, although close to the train station, has nothing around it. The king bedroom we paid for and requested was two beds put together. We were not comfortable at this location that we left a day early.

I am not a review writer but my experience staying here was interesting enough to spend time and write a review. They have a great customer service 5/5. No special location but great free parking lot. The worst part of staying here, was that not able to control AC from our room. We had Total 3 booked rooms from entire family who were staying for wedding party. All rooms are pre programmed and shut down during night! On the day of wedding, the AC was off and I had miserable time getting ready! Eventually I had to go and asked, explain why I need AC in the room!

This hotel is beautiful but very old! We stayed two nights. Staff here were helpful and the breakfast was just okay! The water heater, tray and teacups were dusty when we checked-in (as you can see in the pictures). Also, the sink seemed a bit rusty and the lights in the room were not bright enough!

We got caught in the Easter Monday traffic so rang ahead and booked a room. the reception staff were friendly and helpful and the rate was great. The hotel is old fashioned and very charming and very clean. The room was a good size as was the modern bathroom. The next morning I was greatly surprised at the range of gluten free cereals and super food seeds, grains and berries. And soy milk, which is making an appearance in most Italian hotels this year. The staff were amazing. This hotel is worth a stopover or a base for your Tuscan adventure.
