Location right in the centre makes it very convenient for tourists to just explore the city without having to worry about the time. Very friendly and attentive staff members. Room is super clean. Loved the in-room music system which brought the comfort level of the room to the next level. Also loved the fact that there was room service twice a day. Was always looking forward to the “newspaper” of the hotel which tells us about the weather and what activities the hotel recommends us to do the next time. Will definitely go back!
My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Florence! The hospitality was excellent, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our visit. The front desk staff were attentive and always carried on a conversation with us whether we were coming in or leaving. The hotel was also very clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring Florence and getting around easily. The rooms were large and spotless. Turn down Service was offered every night. The included breakfast was thought out and covered all bases, no matter what kind of breakfast you desired. Overall, a great experience, and I would happily stay here again!
We had a large group of 13 and stayed 3 nights at the L'Orologio in Florence. It had all the basics covered - nice rooms, amazing shower (water pressure was unbelievable), plenty of space, great location, solid breakfast, and there are several large sitting areas that our group used to wind down the night without intruding into other groups' space. The Rolex collection / decor was really neat too. The main thing that endeared is to this hotel was the front desk was ALWAYS quick to accommodate a request our make a suggestion for eating or shopping. They recommended the two best places we ate at while in Florence and also even went as far as to book the reservations. It's not easy to seat 13 people and they handled it so well. We'd definitely stay here again and I'd recommend it to anyone. It's central to most of the attractions and very near one of the train stations.
There is a 1* review posted by some karen complaining about hotel’s personnel wasn’t efficient to react on PEOPLE BEING NOIZY OUTSIDE OF THE HOTEL - probably another cruiser scammer just being unhappy with their life. THE HOTEL IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. I was stupid enough to leave my purse with my passport and stuff on a Bologna-Napoli train and discovered this only when the concierge asked me about my ID for check in. After 10 minutes me being dramatic and upset on myself for acting like a 5 year old the concierge took all the information about our train trip and started making calls. He also made a few suggestions that eventually worked out and my passport was delivered to the hotel. I’m terrible with names - but this gentleman’s name was, I think, Luigi (a good looking dark haired gent with a tidy beard) - man, you were great, THANKS! Another concierge - Paolo - was also very helpful. Other than that - breakfast room has a CHARMING view on Santa Maria Novella. Breakfast selection is a little poor, but still very good (my main complaint is about scrambled eggs on daily basis). Rooms are very clean. Lobby bar has amazing cocktails. Front desk has a list of suggested restaurants- GO FOR THEM, you won’t regret . And, of course, the location- couldn’t be better!
