Hotel Bologna

Very convenient hotel near the train station but easy walk to all the main attractions. It is very near the river and was an ideal base. The hotel has air con, is very clean, quiet, has WiFi and breakfast was good. I just stayed a night but would return.

I stayed at Hotel Bologna during a hot spell, and I must say the air conditioning was a lifesaver! The hotel and room were impeccably clean, and the staff was genuinely very kind and welcoming throughout my stay. The breakfast was good and provided enough options—I particularly appreciated having a vegan croissant available. However, several details kept the experience from feeling like a true 4-star stay: - Comfort & Amenities: I had a single bed that squeaked quite a bit every time I moved. The TV only offered Italian channels and lacked smart features (no option to access YouTube, which feels a bit outdated nowadays). - Noise: On my first morning, maintenance work started at 9:00 AM on the air conditioning unit in the adjacent room, which woke me up with a fair amount of noise. Overall, it’s a clean hotel with lovely staff, but a few updates and better coordination for maintenance would go a long way in matching its 4-star rating.

We had a great stay with our family. The hotel is in a perfect location, only about a 15-minute walk from the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and offers convenient on-site parking. The building has a lovely authentic Tuscan atmosphere that made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The only downside was the weak Wi-Fi signal throughout the building. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely stay. Conveniently situated near sights, restaurants and shopping area. the rooms could do with a bit of updating and refreshing Breakfast was a nice variety. Exceptional service from Ross and Gina in the kitchen. So very friendly and went the extra mile for us!! Excellent !!! Reception Staff very helpful and nothing was too much for them. thank you to all. 🌷
