Dealing with the staff was the worst experience we had in our whole trip. Their staff is straight up rude and not even trying to accomodate client's requests at all. Even when I was trying to communicate with them on phone, and told them that I don't speak Italian, they kept speaking- no, almost screaming in Italian, and I had zero clue what it meant! I kept telling them that I will be arriving at a certain time- and it was communicated already through booking.com, but they simply didn't accept it and kept speaking as if they didn't need any customers! Horrible service!! A big no❌

good quality-price ratio. wonderful breakfast in the cafe which is included in the price (coffee and croissant, but you can buy delicious sandwiches). free parking in the yard. very close to the old town. We live in number 1, the windows face the street, the street is busy, but quite quiet at night, we slept well because we only stayed for one night, for a longer period we would ask for another room further away from the street. the room is spacious and cozy, the bathroom is amazing with shampoo, soap, towels. sound isolation 0/10 as in many cases 😀 wifi very fast, respects 👍

I stayed here for 5 nights in a very hot period of July 2024. The aircon was very welcome. I was warmly welcomed and the cjeckin took no time. The room was spacious, the bed comfy and the shower powerful, everything worked including the small fridge which was great for cold drinks. Breakfast was at a nearby cafe, I used Cafe Jam by the station busy, great coffee and pastries. You get one of each in exchange for your hotel breakfast card. The only thing missing from the room is a kettle, so no in-room hot drinks. Being just across the road from the station its easy if you arrive by train. There is parking at the hotel, I hired a car and was able to get a space. Its tight. The hotel is very close to the town center, many bars and restaurants. Also the funicular to Certaldo Alto, a must visit medieval walled town atop the hill. Very good value , highly recommended.
