Andrea welcomed us late and was super friendly and helpful to get us into our room quickly as we were tired from travelling. Our Bonvoy benefits got us a free drink which was super appreciated and served with a smile. Hotel is generally a bit tired but it was expected. Dreadful weak shower but clean and comfortable. Thanks.

My stay at AC Hotel by Marriott was extremely disappointing. The sound insulation in the rooms was terrible. I was woken up multiple times throughout the night by noise from neighboring rooms and the hallways, making it impossible to get proper rest. On top of that, the cleanliness standards were unacceptable. The hotel felt dirty throughout my stay, and many areas appeared poorly maintained. I genuinely felt uncomfortable touching surfaces because of how unclean the property seemed. What made the experience even worse was the hotel’s response when I asked to check out early due to these issues. Despite raising legitimate concerns about the noise and cleanliness, I was told I would still be charged for the full stay and would even face additional penalties. There was no effort to address the problems or provide a reasonable solution. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel. If you are considering booking here, I would strongly suggest reading recent reviews carefully and proceeding with caution.
A very nice and pleasant place to stay — clean, welcoming, and well‑maintained. Staff are friendly, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Overall, a simple yet delightful experience for a relaxing stop in Pisa. However, the price feels a bit high for what’s offered, and the lack of room service is a drawback.
I just checked out of this awful hotel and feel compelled to write a review to warn everybody about this place. As a Bonvoy member, I usually communicate with the front desk using the chat function in app. During my stay, the front desk did not respond to my message requesting for bathroom slippers. Therefore, I tried to call them but the phone was not working. I had to go down to the front desk to request for the items but only 1 person was at work and she was busy with one person checking in and working extremely slowly. I had to waste 30 minutes before being attended to. I communicated to the front desk staff that the phone in my room wasn’t working and she just shrugged her shoulders and told me that they do not have any spare phones. The room also had very poor sound proofing. I could hear noises from the corridor and the room beside mine. The room was also very dirty, as described in many other reviews on Google. I wish I read review of this hotel before booking it, instead of trusting the Marriott branding. Breakfast at the hotel costs €11 per person and is extremely basic. The eggs and sausages ran out quickly and were not refilled for a long time. I did not feel that the breakfast was value for money. When I brought up some of the issues at check out, the front desk staff were very dismissive and flat out told me to write into Marriott corporate if I was dissatisfied with my stay. They eventually gave me a US$10 discount for my breakfast. Please stay elsewhere.
I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but this experience felt important to share. We recently stayed at the AC Hotel Pisa for five nights in April while attending a wedding. Many of the wedding guests stayed here as well, and unfortunately, several of us had similar issues. First, despite the name, the air conditioning is only turned on seasonally. This is mentioned in the fine print, which we overlooked, so I strongly recommend confirming this before booking. During our stay, the lack of AC made rooms uncomfortably warm, and the only option was to open the windows. However, the most significant problems were related to noise and overall management. On one night, we were woken up by a young child crying in the hallway around midnight after being locked out of his room. It took approximately 30–40 minutes for a parent to return. We were staying next door to this family, and the noise continued throughout the night, with the child running and jumping, making it nearly impossible to sleep. When we attempted to call the front desk, the phone in our room did not work. We later learned this was not an isolated issue. On another night, a friend in our group was woken at 3:00 AM by loud commotion in the hallway. When she opened her door, she found multiple guests with their doors open, furniture moved into the hallway, and a situation where a bathroom had flooded—resulting in feces spreading into the hallway. Guests were walking through it and unintentionally spreading it further. She also attempted to call the front desk but experienced the same phone issue. When she reported it in person, the response was minimal—a complimentary drink. The hotel appears to host a large number of coach tour groups, and many of the disturbances seemed to stem from these guests. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay, especially given the Marriott International affiliation. As a Bonvoy member, I expected a much higher standard of comfort, cleanliness, and responsiveness. I would strongly recommend considering alternative accommodations when visiting Pisa.
