Our tour guide, Giada, was a walking encyclopedia of the history and facts of the Royal Palace of Turin! And she was also extremely personable, friendly and always had a smile! And her language skills (English, Italian, Spanish and French) are fantastic! We honestly could not have had a better experience touring the Palace! Giada definitely enhanced the experience! I recommend the tour: “Turin: Royal Palace guided experience”. The palace is large, so we were grateful to have a guide pace us through the palace rooms, armory, and Chapel. Our guide was deeply knowledgeable about Turin history and about the palace itself. He shared interesting information about the building itself, the statues, artwork, and use of palace rooms. We learned fun facts such as the reason some of the wine glasses on the formal dining table are pink, and why the horse statues in the armory look so real. If you go, plan to spend some time after the tour to enjoy the Savoy gallery of art masterpieces, which is included in the royal palace ticket.

I went to Turin when it was raining. I had to stay out in the rain for an hour until my tour was able to start. It was worth every penny. Plan this tour, because it was well worth it.
The tour was very much fascinating. The guide (Alessandro) was very knowledgeable and provided lots of information that helped us to understand the visit.
Our guide was super good! We were running a little late and it was difficult to find our group because of the crowd (turns out we were the only 3 people in our tour). He waited for us and texted us and we connected. He gave us a grand tour with lots of information. Amazing!
Overall it was an excellent tour, but two hours is a bit short for the breadth of what there is to see. Really needs three hours.

For the 2nd time VIATOR messed up the meeting times. The providers ask for 15 minutes before the start of the tour and our guide sent me a message at 10:00 AM, the time agreed upon by VIATOR, to tell me she was leaving. Fortunately 30s later, I was with her. Now, great guide who, despite the tour being scheduled in English, which posed no problem for us, did it in French. Great knowledge, attention to detail. It was perfect!!!

Visita molto interessante ai musei reali di Torino, guida preparata, ma un po' didascalica e ripetitiva nelle spiegazioni. Potrebbe essere un po' più coinvolgente. Tutto sommato è stata una bella esperienza che ripeterei comunque. Sicuramente vale la pena di visitare i musei con una guida professionista.
Ringraziamo la guida Mirella che ha reso completa ed esaustiva la nostra visita alle meraviglie del Palazzo Reale. Con la sua preparazione trasversale, la passione che trasmette e le doti dialettiche, ha reso coinvolgente la storia dei Savoia e di Torino arricchendola di aneddoti e senza essere mai noiosa o banele.

Very pleasant visit, nice weather. Friendly guide, helpful. Interesting collection of oriental vases and porcelain and interesting armory.
Family visit. The boys did not follow very well because it is a complex historical period and not yet covered during the school period. The adult has no problem following, our guide was very prepared and transmitted the story with passion. Efforts should be made to simplify and involve children/teenagers more by using simpler language at times. Being a guide does not only mean exposing that historic moment for two hours but also means relating to the group in front of you and explaining it by embracing everyone without leaving anyone behind.
