It was such a unique experience being invited into someone’s house, seeing how they live, and cooking alongside them. We really lucked out because they were true foodies with an incredible gourmet kitchen, and his brother was a sommelier, so he carefully selected the wines to pair perfectly with our dinner. Thank you Sara and Alessio!

My husband and I had the best experience doing a cooking class in Turin with Chef Matteo Cambuli. First we went to the food market to pick out our ingredients then back to his apartment to cook. He was extremely patient and very friendly. We cooked fresh pesto, homemade pasta with homemade red sauce and a wonderful chocolate dessert. Then we sat down and enjoyed a delicious lunch together with Chef Matteo. He made us feel so welcomed, comfortable and part of the family. If you are planning a trip to Turin make a cooking class with Chef Matteo Cambuli part of your experience. I would definitely give him and the cooking course a ***** a 5 star rating!!
Very nice and unforgetable experiance. In the future we will make our own pasta. Warm and pleasent hosting. We got plenty of good recepies and tips how to make italian food. After cooking we hade a tasty and enjoyable dinner.
We loved the cooking class with Eugenia and her husband, Mauro. They are both charming, as is their home. They taught us many cooking tips, we made delicious food and enjoyed our time getting to know them both. We’d recommend it to anyone interested in learning about cooking and Italian ways. That said, the communications from Trip Advisor and Viator were excessive and confusing. I literally got a couple dozen emails and a few texts from Trip Advisor. I usually couldn’t figure out what the communications were telling me, as they were just filled with hyperlinks to TA’s social media accounts. Also a lot of messages about impending billing. Enough! Once I finally got in touch with Eugenia we cleared up everything and had a great class.
I recently took a cooking class with Sarah and Alessio in Turin, Italy, and it was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, their warmth and passion for cooking were evident. They welcomed us, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home.Their knowledge for Italian cuisine was great. Highly recommended!
We experienced a fun, instructive, hands on cooking class in the home of a patient, warm expert cook! So great! Really boosted our confidence to repeat at home!
Authentic experience in an Italian home. Quality ingredients and instruction. Enjoyable dinner with our hosts. After dinner our hosts helped us navigate their neighborhood and find a taxi. Very good experience over all.
My husband and I spent a wonderful evening with Eugenia and her husband. It could not have been better. The meal was excellent. Eugenia is truly a very good cook. We enjoyed each course - Antipasto was perfect - peppers, tuna and capers, the Agnolotti, again, perfect and the breaded chicken served with cabbage was wonderful the flavors blended together perfectly. Desert and limoncello night cap ended the evening. I enjoyed discussing the preparation of the food and the menu. It was just a lovely evening. Food conversation - it was memorable. Recommend that you have dinner with Eugenia in her lovely home with her charming husband.
Eugenia (Jenni) and her husband welcomed us into their beautiful apartment in the hills for a lunch cooking class. Jenni was so organized and a great teacher: we made an antipasto - roasted peppers with a tuna/parsley/caper/anchovy paste, egg topping, a main course - angolotti filled with a pork/rabbit/beef mixture, and dessert -strawberry tiramisu. The pace was relaxed as was the actual meal. At a beautifully set table, my husband and I enjoyed food, wine and easy conversation with Jenni and her husband. Upon leaving, Jenni presented us with a tiny box of her homemade cookies. A great experience all around - I highly recommend asking for Jenni specifically when you book a lesson.
Barbara was amazing! We learned how to fresh orachetta pasta from scratch in addition to an authentic Italian appetizer and desert. It was the highlight of our trip to Torino. Highly recommend!
When we arrived , we offered prosecco and nibbles and felt very welcomed. We then started making our 3 course meal. You can tell benedetta had a fountain of knowledge on italian foods and was very passionate about it. It was very interesting all the different history and regions of food . Once we cooked the food , we then sat on the balcony and ate with glasses of wine . Was incredible experience and would highly recommend it .
This was booked as part of a trip for my partners 30th Birthday! We were made to feel totally at home and had the best time! Would really recommend
With Eugenia Jenni and his family, you feel from the very beginning like old friends. She received us, and our chow-chow dog Yuki with warmth and simplicity. Learning how to make agnolotti with Jenni is just a real pleasure, and so fun when out result is not really perfect ;-) She explains with so much kindness and patience that at least, we succeeded. Then it was so nice to share our dinner with the family, Jenni, her husband, her son and daughter in law, speaking italien and english, sharing good italian wine, our home-made agnolotti, and so much surprises and desserts Jenni had prepared for us. If you have planned one evening in Turin, just check if Jenni is available, it would probably the best memory of your trip !
Amazing opportunity to learn local recipes from a local family. Our hosts were welcoming and very knowledgeable about Piedmontese cuisine and were able and willing to change the menu on short notice to suit our skill level and desired outcome. Highly recommend
We enjoyed great food and company ! Today is a memory we will treasure lifetime! Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We had two of the most absolutely sweetest couple! They not only taught us how to cook but also shared stories. It was such a great atmosphere and we loved it so much! Definitely would recommend again again!
My in-home chef instructor, Rosanna, and her partner/translator, Raffaele, were an absolute delight! Rosanna tailored the menu to my dietary preferences. It was so fun and I learned so much! Many things that I can repeat on my own, and they send the recipes! Plus, I feel like I got an insight into a true Italian home and family. I highly recommend this for someone on their own, like me, or a group!
Lovely class - made a salad with chicken, celery, walnuts, and Parmesan; pumpkin ravioli with sage butter; and bonet (and a couple bottles of wine). I’d do it again!
This was the best cooking class I have ever attended. We try to take a cooking class on every vacation, and we've had some very good ones, but Rosanna and Raffaele were such welcoming hosts that this was the best. They took us to the local market and worked with us to develop a personalized menu. They involved us in the actual cooking and I learned a lot. We had such a good time with such good hosts - and we ate more food than we could have imagined.
It was a great experience in preparing a simple but very delicious Piemontese cuisine. Rossana and Raffaele Abba were extremely charming hosts. I highly recommend this anybody that wishes to learn Piemontese cooking.
I booked this cooking class not knowing exactly what to expect, but I was so, so happy with how the experienced turned out! My amazing hosts were Raffaele and Rosanna. Raffaele warmly welcomed me with an espresso (I was the only student that day) while we waited briefly for Rosanna to finish up shopping for fresh ingredients at the nearby market. They then walked me through our menu for the day - a variety of local Piedmontese specialties including handmade pasta with meat sauce, local cheese topped with a parsley sauce, beef carpaccio, chocolate-stuffed peaches, and more. We then moved to the kitchen, where Rosanna walked me through making our unique menu. I can't say enough about how welcoming and kind Rosanna and Raffaele were during my experience. We spent hours cooking and talking about the food and history of Turin - the whole experience felt more like passing an afternoon with friends than an impersonal cooking class. I learned so many techniques and recipes that I know I'll use in the future. When most of the food was ready, we moved to the dining area where we enjoyed a leisurely (and large!) lunch. Rosanna and Raffaele even encouraged me to invite my husband for lunch, and while he couldn't attend due to work, Rosanna packed up another meal's worth of leftovers so he could try everything we made. We ended up making a meal of it for dinner! If you're looking for a unique, informative, and authentic cooking experience in Turn, don't hesitate to book this class!
My partner and I took the cooking course at Paola. What incredibly friendly and welcoming people! The meeting place was in front of their apartment, few minutes after the agreed time Paola picked us up and welcomed us with her partner in their beautiful outdoor kitchen. They had already picked up all the products and after a welcome drink we went straight to work. We cooked 3 courses, with Paola taking us step by step. In between the courses they also prepared all extra snacks what we could eat. We had a great course, great food and very nice company. Since there was so much food left, we got a bowl of our own. They were incredibly lovely people and would definitely recommend this cooking course!
Infelizmente nao houveram momentos, vcs cancelaram duas vezes seguidas fiquei extremamente decepcionada
First time made and a main hit landed. The hostess was a magical, funny person. We were allowed to spend an unforgettable evening at her home. First there was a cooking show, and then a great 4-course menu with good wine accompaniment. From the first minute we felt very comfortable and found a new girlfriend in the hostess. Thank you
Top experience in Turin. Now we know the real Piedmontese cuisine. Very nice hosts - Thanks again on the next visit
