Tour guide was adequate. A large part of the museum tour was spent on one portion of the displays. There was a gap in the material between the lanterns and talking pictures. No coverage of movies in the silent era. No time was spent on the large Orson Wells feature.

Reviews
I was a little dubious about going to a cinema museum in Turin, as my knowledge of Italian Cinema was limited to The Bicycle Thieves and Cinema Paradiso. However, I discovered that the museum had plenty for a fan of old Hollywood, from Marilyn Monroe's costumes to the storyboard for The Empire Strikes Back and the original script for Godfather II. They have sections on horror, musicals and animation, and a fun section on the history of cinema from magic lantern shows to VR. Featured was a great and comprehensive exhibition on Orson Welles from his birth to death. Add to this a Willy Wonka-style glass lift that takes you up through the museum to the top of the building for a great panorama of the city, and you have a great trip, all very reasonably priced. Great shop too.
There are too many cinema characters even from when we were kids such as the flinstones . The ticket is not expensive and i did not wait in the line either to enter
Allessandro was amazing, so informative about museum and city of Turin. We learned so much!! Highly recommend!
Allessandro was extremely knowledgeable and very passionate about cinema! Which was great since we are film producers. What an amazing museum and one we highly recommend but with a guide or you will miss a lot!
We had a great time with our guide Alessandro. The museum and collection are amazing and Alessandro’s knowledge helped take us on a journey that left is in awe of all thing cinema! We highly recommend this tour to any film buffs. Plan on spending several hours after the tour digging into everything the museum has to offer. Steve and Christine
We were very much looking forward to visiting this museum being movie fans however we found the staff unfriendly and the whole tour rather underwhelming from start to finish.
For grown ups with an interest in cinema, this museum is unmissable. You will need at least 2 hours to do it justice. The visit starts with the lift up to the lookout point at the top of the tower. Views are spectacular. For grown ups with younger children, a word of warning… a number of the exhibits could be quite scary and are not really appropriate for younger children. The initial section on lenses is quite interactive and they will probably enjoy that section the most. Staff were very helpful.
What a bonus to be able to benefit from all of our guide's knowledge. She gave us lots of little details so that we could understand the entire evolution of cinema. It was truly incredible to enjoy it; we would never have appreciated the museum otherwise. Furthermore, during the ascent of the Mole, she took the time to explain each part of the city to us. It was very interesting. I recommend it to you.
Very experienced and friendly guide. He described every detail very emphatically. We had a great time.
Bellissima esperienza . Guida gentile preparata e molto coinvolgente . Saltare la coda infinita e salire all’orario concordato comodissimo
Definitely an experience to be recommended... The cinema museum is perhaps focused on a young (very young) audience but I consider a visit to this site interesting and pleasant even for those like me who are over 50. Well organised, tidy and staffed careful.
Visita interessante. Visti dall' alto i vari quartieri di Torino con spiegazione su come sono nati e si sono sviluppati. Interessantissimo il museo del cinema
