The private tour was well worth it. Marilla was an exceptional guide and our driver David was amazing as well. This is a perfect half day tour and left us the whole afternoon to ourselves to explore a new part of the city afterwards. I will say that I was a bit annoyed by the other giant tour bus group that they let in at the same time. I can’t imagine being on a giant tour for this place, as you would miss the magic of the small church and being explained all of the topics and paintings that you simply can’t get with 30 folks running around.
