Outstanding experience would recommend for all. Our guy was really an expert and official chocolate taster who has graduated from multiple courses. Who knew such a thing. We learned so much about chocolate in the tasting was exceptional. You could then really tell the difference between the chocolates you were trying. This was a great experience. Giovanni was extremely knowledgeable, kind and generous with his time. He walked through everything at a great pace even kept our 2 children under 12 engaged. We signed up for a chocolate tasting with a certified chocolate expert and consultant Giovanni Benefetto. We were surprised how much there is to learn about chocolate. Included in the session were tastings of many types and styles of chocolate from various regions around the world with a focus on traditional chocolates of Turin. Highly recommended for chocolate lovers.

The tour guide, also was the owner of the shop, did a great job introducing the varieties of chocolate , the making of premium chocolate and, of course, everyone’s favorite, the chocolate tasting!

I hadn't done much research on the different providers of chocolate tastings or tours in Turin, but I definitely hit jackpot with his one. Giovanni is not only extremely knowledgeable and friendly, but he is so enthusiastic about the art of chocolate that it's very much contagious. The two hours just flew by! In addition to a rich selection of gianduja from different local chocolate producers, he also has an incredible selection of chocolates from all over the world. Without a doubt the best way to experience a chocolate adventure in Turin. Highly recommended!

Excellent! He was so knowledgeable because he is a taster, which is similar to a sommelier for wine but for chocolate. I highly recommend it!

Relaxed environment and encouraged to ask as many questions as needed. Appreciated the offer to try more chocolate but after two hours of tasting, we had to tap out!!

What a wonderful visit! We got to try some amazing Fine chocolates, our favourite was the creminos. We also tried chocolates from other parts of the world which were both weird and wonderful (goats cheese chocolate, beef jerky chocolate?) The shop was small, but filled with all varieties of chocolate. Giovanni was a great host. He was unbelievably knowledgeable and very friendly. Be prepared to sample a lot of chocolate! His English is perfect and he didn’t mind when I tried to use my limited Italian speaking skills. We also laughed a lot. Great experience.

GIOVANII was an excellent host and very knowledgeable about chocolate and chocolate testing. It was all so intimate in his shop. We tried and ate so many chocolates. What a wonderful experience we had.

He explained the difference between types of cacao beans, the roasting process, the difference between cacao and chocolate, and what makes a quality white chocolate. Moment of sharing with my daughter for her 20th birthday, we who are a fan of sweets well here we are melting with pleasure of Piedmontese chocolates! Small intimate shop that pays no mine may in which we were welcomed with warmth and kindness. Everything was well explained and the tasting never ended! Great time!
