Turin Palace Hotel

Beautiful hotel, close to train station, fantastic service and sweeping views from roof top bar and lounge. It was MUCH better than I expected. The website photos didn’t quite do it justice. The staff brought us champagne and chocolates. Breakfast was over the top. The cocktails great. The room outstanding. A lovely hotel in Turin. We look forward to returning!

Everything about this place is spot on. Cleanliness, service, the welcome on arrival, there’s really nothing to complain about. It’s excellent and that deserves to be said. There’s also a rooftop where you can enjoy a drink, which is a great touch. The hotel is close to the station, so you get the usual noise and comings and goings that come with that, but the hotel can’t be held responsible for it. If I had to point out one thing, it would be the bathrooms: only a thin panel is there to protect your privacy. Something a bit thicker would have been preferable. Other than that, an excellent stay and I’d happily come back.

We had a very upsetting experience at the hotel and I am leaving this review to warn other guests and alert the senior people within the hotel as I am not sure that the issue was reported. We stayed at the hotel for two nights booked under my husband's name, Christopher Tosh. On our last night, one of the staff members told us that they had given us two free drinks and that if we looked at our bill and saw just one instead of three that was why. When we got to our room, we looked at the bill and they had not given us free drinks and instead had charged us for a bottle. We went to the reception and reported it and they said they think it was a mistake on their till and that they would "discount our room" by the amount we had been overcharged. I don't think it is possible for staff to not know the difference between a bottle and a measure and I felt like I had been scammed. It ruined our evening and I slept very badly that last night because I was so angry at being tricked. I think that discounting the room instead of refunding me felt like it concealed the issue. I think this is an appalling way to treat a guest and to compensate them only by given them back what was taken is very poor. I would recommend checking your bill very thoroughly here and being suspicious of any staff claiming to offer free drinks. All of the other staff we dealt with in the hotel were very nice and the hotel itself is extremely clean and well run. Unfortunately, our experience means we will never return and we couldn't reecommend it to other people.

I had a wonderful time staying at this hotel! It's beautiful inside, very quiet and very clean. The hotel staff are brilliant and so kind. Breakfast is also fantastic with a huge amount of food to choose from, including eggs, sausages, pastries (so many different varieties), pancakes, cakes, cereals and fruits etc. The breakfast room itself is also super special. I would absolutely stay here again, especially given its excellent location near to the train station. The only thing I would improve is allowing guests to watch Netflix on the TV.
