An Absolutely Incredible Experience — The Highlight of Our Vacation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars – Exceptional Private Tour! Our private snorkeling and cenote adventure with Absolute Adventure was truly extraordinary, and much of what made it so special came down to three wonderful people: our guides, Pablo and Arturo, and our driver, Roberto. From the very beginning, what impressed us most was how genuinely friendly, personable, and engaging everyone was. Pablo and Arturo were absolutely phenomenal. Their knowledge of the local geography, geology, wildlife, and ecology was remarkable, but what really set them apart was their ability to share that knowledge in such a natural, conversational, and fascinating way. Rather than simply delivering a rehearsed tour or rattling off facts, they took the time to get to know us. Through our conversations, they quickly picked up on our interests, our curiosity, and just how deeply we wanted to explore different subjects. Whether we were discussing how cenotes form, the unique geology of the Yucatán Peninsula, or the fascinating plants and animals of the region, they tailored the experience to our level of interest. We never felt rushed, and they seemed genuinely delighted to share their knowledge and answer our questions. That kind of personalized attention is something you simply don't find on every tour, and we appreciated it enormously. The logistics were equally impressive. Our transportation was extremely comfortable and perfectly suited to our private excursion, with a large cooler generously stocked with refreshments. Everything throughout the day felt seamless, relaxed, and thoughtfully organized. Our snorkeling experience in Akumal was spectacular! In accordance with the regulations protecting the marine preserve, we were handed off to a local snorkeling guide who did an outstanding job. She made sure we were comfortable and safe while pointing out the incredible marine life around us. During our swim, we came within approximately 10 feet of what we estimated to be a dozen different sea turtles! Seeing these magnificent animals swimming freely in their natural habitat was unforgettable. We also encountered starfish and countless colorful reef fish. It was an absolutely magical experience. Our visit to the Taak Bi Ha cenote was another highlight, and the delicious lunch we enjoyed nearby was a wonderful addition to an already exceptional day. But when I think back on this experience, what I will remember most isn't just the spectacular scenery, the turtles, or the cenote. It's the people. Pablo and Arturo have that rare ability to make you feel less like a customer on a guided excursion and more like a friend being shown around by someone who genuinely loves where they live. Within a surprisingly short time, they felt more like traveling companions than tour guides. Their warmth, humor, curiosity, enthusiasm, and willingness to engage in meaningful conversation made the entire day so much more rewarding. Absolute Adventure delivered exactly what we hoped a premium private tour would be: personal, flexible, educational, comfortable, and filled with unforgettable experiences. More importantly, they provided something that can't simply be purchased or scripted: a genuine human connection with people who clearly take pride in sharing their beautiful corner of the world. Snorkeled with sea turtles at Akumal Beach then visited la Casa Cenote and Dos Ojos Cenote. Very fun and different experiences, would recommend. Dulce and Omar were great and friendly and had all the supplies we needed!

This tour was fantastic! We got a chance to snorkel and see sea turtles. Then we went and explored two cenotes, one where we also did a zipline across the cenote and another that was underground and cavernous. Very Indiana Jones-like experience. The lunch was also very authentic and delicious. Cristina was an awesome guide too. Very energetic and fun. Would highly recommend.

We took a private tour with Josh and he was fabulous, so personable, friendly and knowledgeable. Picked us up at our vacation rental, drove the turtles and introduced us to our guide for the 45 minutes in the ocean. He was waiting for us when we returned and helped us with our gear. We saw three turtles, rays, and numerous fish. It was the perfect amount of time in the water. We then went to a cave cenote and Josh guided us through the water, making sure we were all safe. Amazing! He was a great tour guide. He took us to the authentic lunch, which we really enjoyed. Amazing place to visit. I would highly recommend this private tour with Josh.

We did the Turtles + Cenote tour with Juan and a driver - - totally top notch. The day's forecast was very windy with rain on and off, but we trusted Juan with the plan and it was absolutely worth it. The turtles and sea life were abundant during our swim. We took his recommendation on which Cenote to explore and we had the entire area completely to ourselves to explore! Juan provided wetsuits for our Cenote portion which made it much more comfortable since the day was not as warm as planned. I am NOT a swimmer but felt completely at home with the equipment and structure of the tour. Communication from booking to pickup was flawless. Our driver (wish I remembered his name) was safe and courteous and stayed with the van so we could leave personal items without worry. They provided water and juices which was nice after all the swimming. This was our fifth trip to Mexico but first off-resort excursion and we would highly recommend the entire experience!

We did a half-day private tour snorkeling with the sea turtles and visiting a cenote with Arturo as our guide. He was outstanding, and our experiences were fantastic! The cenote we visited had only one other family there and we enjoyed the jumping platforms and the zip line! I highly recommend the experience and Arturo in particular as a guide!

Fantastic tour. Our guide Joshua was amazing, the cenote (stalagmites and stalagmites was the highlight of our entire trip. Highly recommend Absolute adventure private tours, we passed by large tour groups that looked miserable, but these guys handled everything so we had absolutely nothing to worry about but hearing the history and stories of the area. 10/10!

You can stop searching for a tour company! Truly this was the easiest and best part of our trip. We chose Tulum, Turtles, and Centote (I'd do the 3 Centote if I could choose again) and loved it. Arturo was our guide and was fantastic. He didn't tell weird jokes or yell like other campy guides can do - I felt safe and taken care of. It's easy to book and communication was seamless. DO IT. Have fun and tell Arturo that the quilter from Oregon says HEY.

A private tour with Arturo is the way to go! Easy pick up at our hotel, our own guide at the at the Mayan ruins, swimming in Cenotes and then swimming again with the turtles. It was absolutely perfect.

Rodrigo, our driver, and Joshua, our guide, picked us up in a spacious van at our hotel in Playa del Carmen at 7am. We visited Tulum first, and really beat the crowd! There was a long line to enter as we were leaving. From there, we were given the choice between 3 cenotes. We chose Taak bi Ha, which is a fairly enclosed cenote. It was amazing! We stopped for lunch at Juanita's and then drove to Akumal Bay where Joshua set us up with a snorkeling guide. We saw so many sea turtles, plus a sting ray, lots of tropical fish, and a lobster. Joshua was an excellent guide throughout the entire day, and Rodrigo was a safe driver. Would highly recommend this tour company if you are interested in a private tour!
