Tulum Vip Private Tour With Sea Turtles & Cenote – Award-winning

Eddy was a great tour guide. Made you feel like a fiend not a customer!! Omar was our driver and he was great too. Loved our trip.

This was our favorite day of our 6 day trip to Tulum. Christina and Rodrigo picked us up early so we could be the crowds at the Mayan ruins. They ate a fabulous pair, they exude so much warmth and care, we were immediately at ease. Christina is energetic and so full of interesting knowledge. She gave us a very thorough tour of the ruins, it was so interesting and beautiful to see. She quickly got a handle on our pace and adjusted as needed. We then went to a cenote, which was beyond stunning. They provide all the snorkeling gear and arrange sizes in advance so it was super simple. Christina gave us choices for different kinds of cenotes and the one we picked exceeded our expectations. It was also at this point, we realized how beloved Christina is by the people who work at the places we visited, which, of course, only enhanced our experiences. After the swimming, we went for lunch. It was delicious and fun. Again, Christina was on top of everything and it was a seamless experience. Our final stop was swimming with the sea turtles. Again, INCREDIBLE! We were warned we might not see any, but we saw four! The guide from the turtle area was lovely and after we had been out swimming for some time, he generously helped our 12 year old make the last stretch. Christina swam with us, so having two scouting for things to see made it amazing! We were exhausted and happy and better informed about the history of Tulum by the end of our day and it was worth EVERY penny!! Rodrigo the driver was such a good guy too! What a day! One for the memory books!!!

Another amazing day with Josh and Hugo! This tour to Tulum, a cenote, and swimming with turtles was unforgettable from start to finish. Arriving early at Tulum meant we could really enjoy the site before it got busy. Josh brought everything to life with his knowledge, sharing fascinating history and insights, and he took care of all the tickets so we could stay completely stress-free. Hugo once again made the journey smooth and comfortable. We then visited Nicte-Ha Cenote, which was absolutely beautiful. We were the only people there, which made it feel incredibly special and peaceful. Lunch was fantastic at a lovely restaurant with thoughtful touches the children loved—swings and a football table kept them entertained while we relaxed. The food itself was delicious. The final highlight was swimming with turtles—an unforgettable experience. During our 45-minute tour, we saw three turtles, which felt like such a privilege. Swimming out to the edge of the reef, we also saw some beautiful fish and truly felt immersed in nature. Tip wear a rash vest as the life jacket rubs your skin after a while. Once again, Josh handled everything seamlessly, allowing us to completely relax and enjoy every moment of the day. Highly recommended!

We had an oustanding experience with Absolute Adventures Mexico. Our tour guide was informative, friendly and professional as was the van driver. We enjoyed all of the sites we visited and the food for the included lunch was equally impressive. We had an amazing day that couldn't have been better! Highly recommend for all of your touring needs!!

My friend and I loved our private tour through Absolute Adventure Mexico guided by the wonderful Juan!! We started out at the Tulum ruins where Juan pointed the various structures and provided a through history of the Mayans. Next we swam in the serene Nicte Ha cenote, and because the overall tour starts early, we had the cenote to ourselves, which was amazing! After swimming, we had a fabulous lunch down the road at Restaurante Juanita. We ended our fantastic tour at Akumal Bay where we snorkled around the sea turtles, sting rays, and an array of beautiful fish. We would absolutely book again with Absolute Adventures Mexico and would request Juan as our guide!

Our second trip was for two to the Tulum Ruins, the Tak bi ha cenote, and snorkeling in Akumal. Juan was our guide and he was so fun! He added to all the information Joshua had given us on our earlier Chitzen Itza tour. The ruins were amazing to see, And we were literally the first two people into the ruins and again so many great photos, some really great information and facts, even learnt some mayan words. We than went to the cenote and we arrived just as everyone else was leaving and had the whole place to ourselves other than divers gearing up to go! Again full of so much information and great knowledge. Ate at another great restaurant where certain items were included and than off to see the turtles. I wish I had gotten the guides name that took us into the ocean but it was the best experience, he guided us through the water, held us in place so we could view the turtles, squids, fish and sting rays all around. Was an amazing day!! Kika was out again our driver on another fantastic trip. Jaun and Kika were amazing and nailed the tour! It was one of my favorite days in Mexico. If your looking for a company with amazing people, thats super organized and great at communication, please use absolute adventure! You really won't be sad you did!!

Had the most amazing family day with Alex & Enrique. Everyone had the best time, especially our two boys 9 and 11. The highlight of the whole holiday.

Josh and Max were wonderful! It was a great day and the kids loved it! As a family of 5 (kids ranging from 9-13), the private tour of Tulum ruins, cenote and snorkeling was a perfect fit. Our guides were on time, very informative and helpful. The pace of the tour was flexible which was great for our family so we did not feel rushed or have to stay longer than the kids were interested. Definitely would recommend Absolute Adventure Mexico and request Joshua and Max!

We took a private snorkeling tour with Josh, it was a lifetime expierence! It was absolutely beautiful. He helped guide us through the two cenotes we picked the jungle one and the cave onen absolutely wonderful experience. And we finished with an amazing local authentic Lunch! 10/10 highly recommend!!

Excellent trip and service! My family had previously went on a private tour of the Mayan ruins at Tulum with Absolute Adventures and had a great time. Their tour guide Joshua, who was amazing, recommended the private tour to snorkel Akumal and see the turtles and also a lagoon snorkel and cenotes. I didn't see this exact tour on the website, so I reached out to Absolute Adventures and they were able to quickly put it together for us and we even had Joshua again as our guide, which was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They took care of everything for us, so all we had to do was enjoy the experience. I would recommend using Absolute Adventures for any excursions while in the Mayan Riviera area and if you are lucky enough to get Joshua as your guide, it will be even more enjoyable!

We spent the day with Arturo, who was fantastic! The 8 passenger van arrived right on time and we were greeted with a smile. They were incredibly accommodating and considerate of any needs we had. Arturo was patient and informative as we toured the ruins in Tulum. Afterwards we made our way to a Cenote, we were lucky as there was not another person there. We have two small children (5 and 7) and Arturo was incredibly helpful and encouraging with them. We had an incredible lunch and wrapped the day swimming with turtles. We would highly recommend this group to guide you on any adventure. Thank you for making the day with our family so memorable!

Juan, our guide, was welcoming knowledgeable and accommodating. I highly recommend getting a private tour because I saw other tours getting cooked in the sun but Juan made sure we were walking through the sun to stop in the shade for pictures and explanations. The area of ruins is larger than pictures would have you believe and took about 90 minutes to get all the way around. We got out of the sun unscathed and we were taken to Playa Akumal to swim with sea turtles and other sea creatures. It was magical and my 10 year old and 12 year old absolutely loved seeing the turtles in their natural habitat. After, we got lunch at a nearby restaurant about 3 minutes up the road. The food was good and Juan knew the menu pretty well to suggest his favorites. We had been picked up outside our hotel in Playa del Carmen at 7 and were back by 1:30-2:00 pm. The perfect length of tour for our family. BOOK IT!

Our guide was Arturo. We were a party of 4 (M17, M48, M47, F47) He was wonderful. At the Ruins he talked about the history. You can tell he loves the history. He kept us away from the big groups (they were obnoxious) we learned things others may not have. He took us to a Cenote and went in with us. Let us take our time. No part of this tour was rushed. We went to lunch at a place called Juanita. I have a food allergy and he was great about checking to see what I could have. I ate the club sandwich. Probably the best one I have ever had. What a cute quiet place. The last stop was the snorkeling with the turtles. Sadly this party he was not allowed to be our guide as someone from there had to be the guide. The turtle snorkel was busy and a LOT of ocean swimming. You really should be a good swimmer for this part. Life jackets were required for all water parts. In a while we LOVED this day. We would book tours with this company again!

This was the absolute highlight of our vacation, our guide Arturo was fantastic in every way: knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, accommodating and made us feel completely comfortable and safe the entire day. The early morning tour of the ruins was perfect with fewer crowds and lower temperatures. Swimming with the turtles was so fun and swimming in the cenote was a top 10 moment for me and my kids as well as our friends. I cannot recommend this enough!

We had a perfect private tour with our guide, Arturo and driver, Omar. They arrived early for our 7AM pickup at our door and we got on the road. We arrived and Tulum and were the first people in! This fantastic historical site was all ours for most of the tour. Arturo was friendly and very knowledgeable. He was a great conversationalist throughout our tour, discussing architecture, history, and places he has visited. He showed us the best vantage points to view the ruins and great places to take photos. After Tulum, we swam with the turtles at Akumal. Arturo passed us off to an official guide who took us out snorkeling to see the turtles. He kept us safe and let us take our time. What a great experience! Next was lunch at a local restaurant which was delicious. We returned to our location in Playa del Carmen in the early afternoon and had the rest of the day to enjoy. All fees and lunch were included in the price. We were offered soda and water to enjoy during the trip. We felt our time was used well, there were no shopping stops nor any strong-arming to tip. (We took a big bus tour to Chichen Itza with another company and had a horrifically long day with wasted time shopping and lots of sales pitches.) Thank you for a great experience!

A wonderful day from start to finish. Juan is a fantastic guide who was very knowledgeable, fun, good natured and also very skilled at tailoring the tour for my multi-generational family. You will learn & see so much natural beauty on this tour. I can’t recommend it enough. *tip* go early to avoid massive crowds

Our guide and driver were great! Our drive was safe and punctual. Our guide was knowledgeable and fun to spend the day with. He was able to answer all of our questions and gave great suggestions for cenote choices and lunch.

Looking at all the 5 Star reviews of Absolute Adventure Mexico it is difficult to add something new....other than to confirm previous 5 Star reviews. The company provided excellent service and immediate response from booking to the day of the tour. They used WhatsApp to stay in touch and response was always within minutes, sometimes immediate. Very impressive. The actual private tour was a fantastic experience. We were lucky to have Omar as a very safe driver and Arturo as a very knowledgeable and well prepared guide throughout the excursion. Arturo provided deep insights into the history of Tulum and the Mayan people in Yucatan and Central America. He was also the Tequila sommelier during the tasting experience. The choice of location was unique and away from the main tourist flows. It was clearly more than we expected and it is good to know that such great service still exists. They genuinely cared for us as their customers and that's something rare these days. Bravo!

We loved everything about this tour! The tour is perfectly organized. We skipped the crowds for the ruins, practically had a private cenote swim, and had a personal guide help locate the hungry turtles. Each segment allowed an adequate amount of time to enjoy and explore. Joshua was a superb tour guide - knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Transportation and lunch was top notch as well! Highly recommend :)
