We had the most amazing day with Niko - what a great guide! Full of knowledge, fiexible and just a great person to get to hang out with for a day. He went above and beyond to accommodate us and took us to the most delicious, and interesting, spot for lunch (we have veggie/vegan diets). We cant recommend Niko highly enough!

The guide, Joseline, was amazing - very friendly, knowledgeable, organised. The tour was a nice relaxed pace, and they time it so that the places aren't too busy for you. Everything is included in the price. Lunch at the end was delicious (suitable for gluten free and dairy free).
Tania did an amazing job! Wonderful tour guide! She was excited to show us the Mayan culture and answered all of our questions. Tania was so engaging, other tours stopped to listen to her. She timed everything so well, no rush and avoided the crowds, and zip lined all over beautiful Cenotes. Amazing Experience!
Mexico Kan Tours is one of our favorite tour operators, not just in Mexico but in all of our travels! We booked three separate tours with Mexico Kan Tours across multiple days, each with different tour guides and drivers, so we have ample experience with them and can vouch for the consistency and reliability of their service. Their tour guides were knowledgable about the local history, culture, and nature. All of our tour guides were passionate and enthusiastic and enjoyed their jobs. They showed a respect and reverence for the ecosystem and community that they lived in. They follow all the local rules and regulations (no plastic bottles, no contaminents, etc). Their drivers were safe and extremely polite, always opening doors for us and helping with errands. Mexico Kan Tours' itineraries are high quality and they only go to the best sites. They avoid crowded and touristy areas and took us to some real hidden gems. They seem to be very selective in the places they visit and the partners they work with. They even knew where to get authentic and high quality local souvenirs. Their lunch options were excellent. We are very selective eaters who prefer non-tourist spots that locals eat at. Frankly, we have unreasonably high standards for foods which tour operators rarely meet, so we were impressed that all three of the lunches we had with Mexico Kan Tours were great. They are well equipped, adaptive, prepared for anything. They have all the necessary gear and safety equipment for all activities. Their water gear (snorkels, masks) is new and from Cressi, a reputable brand. They provide reusable aluminum water bottles, bananas, and these excellent seed granola bars made by a local baker (they were so good multiple people asked for the recipe). Their vans and vehicles are newer models and quite comfortable. When making plans with Mexico Kan Tours, they are flexible and responsive. We booked some things on very short notice, including some custom private tours and extensions. Their office staff always responded the same day that we reached out. On one occasion, we contacted them at around 4PM about adding an extension for the next day, and they were able to accomodate us. We were informed of the exact pickup times the night before and they arrived promptly at those times. The tours ended at the specified time. Their prices were reasonable and competitive for the area. We felt it was a great value for the quality of service we received. We booked these tours with them, staying in Tulum town in early November 2025: - Cenote Adventure (with Macarena): Our favorite part of the trip! Macarena's excitement and love for the water made this an amazing experience. - Private tour of Chichen Itz (with Alfonso): Alfonso's deep knowledge of Mexican history and culture made the drive fly by! - Tulum Ruins and 3 Cenotes Jungle Adventure + private reef snorkeling (with Miguel): Miguel's kind nature and expertise made the day great - and we got to meet a nurse shark face to face!
This was one of our favorite tours. We got to see the ruins, zipline, canoe, and swim in incredibly beautiful cenotes. Aurelio and Paloma were such a great team, and they made the tour very fun and special. Paloma had so much knowledge about everything we did, and she was very kind and fun. The lunch at the end is also delicious! We can't recommend this tour highly enough. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Shout out to Paloma! She was such an incredible and knowledgeable guide! Thank you for such a relaxed day in the cenotes and a wonderful morning at the Mayan ruins
The tour was brilliant. First getting to the archeological site early, before the crowds was a massive plus point, it meant we got some fantastic photos opportunities. The cenotes themselves were excellent, especially the third one. The food provided was brilliant, with strong and vibrant flavours. The food is available at exactly the time we started getting hungry.
Carlos made the tour so enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable, witty, and attentive. I will definitely use this service again.
Just amazing. Carlos was so informative and explained everything! The water was beautiful and the food was top tier! I felt it was intimate and we got to the ruins early so it wasn't too packed
We had a truly wonderful tour with our amazing guide Paloma – she was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and led us through the day with great enthusiasm and insight. The tour was both informative and varied, and we learned a lot. The organization was excellent: we were picked up on time in the morning, the transport was comfortable, the snacks along the way were well planned, and thanks to the early start, there were very few other tourists – definitely a big plus! Many thanks to our very good driver Artoro! For lunch, we enjoyed delicious traditional Mexican food, a typical dessert, and locally brewed coffee – a real highlight! What impressed us most was the organization’s commitment to actively supporting local communities. We would absolutely recommend this tour!
This was one of the best investments of our trip. The location and guide made for a high quality tour. It was very comfortable and exciting for our children who are 4 and 7. Small and meaningful details, like homemade, kid friendly snacks and reusable water bottles were classy. We wish we had made time for a second tour with MexicoKanTours.
We had a great time on our cenote tour with Iver! He was the best guide, funny, knowledgeable and kind! Thank you for a great day!
We had a perfect moment starting with visiting the Maya’s ruines so we feeld our brain then enjoying a super fun adventure experience in a gorgeous place into the cenotes! Thank to Alondra for the great vibes and knowledge of the day (and all the pictures) !
Jungle adventure tour was incredible! Nice walk through the Mayan ruins and then into the jungle for some activities including, zip lines, cenotes, canoeing and snorkelling! Thoroughly enjoyed our tour guide Miguel Angel. He was super friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable. Cannot recommend enough.
Disappointed by this tour. Very unprofessional guide. For a small group tour of Tulum and cenotes I expected it to be more informative. The guide, Lily spent a lot of her time joking and not explaining much about the culture/history of the site. When getting back into the van, she asked us if we wanted bananas. I said yes. She realized that there were only a few good ones left and gave them to the other guests ( Caucasian). We are 2 Asian women ( my daughter 15 ) . We felt discriminated. Instead, she just gave us granola bars, that we barely ate as they were stale. I told her about the granola bars and she just said to throw them away. This wasn’t a good experience. The rest of the tour in the cenotes was better due to the beauty of the site, not the guide. At lunch, the guide kept on talking about how she is working on her own tourist travel activities like pottery classes combined with Mayan sites and dance classes / knitting .. etc This tour gets 2 stars because of the cenotes and Tulum. The guide is very unprofessional and gets 0.
The Tulum ruins and 3 Cenotes - Jungle Adventure was a great experience. The tour was full of wonderful sights to see and interesting information thanks to our guide Marcos. The cenotes were a refreshing break in between exploring and ziplining.
Fullday Tulum Jungle Experience. Carlos our highly knowledgeable guide made our excursion special. Got us there before the crowds. He kept our activities rolling whilst not rushing us. Enjoyed our day with one other couple. Gabriel the driver was reliable in picking us up from our hotel. Highly recommended to book with these guys.
I had a great time in spite of the rain. The upside of bad weather was that we had all the cenotes to ourselves. Our tour guide Paloma was very friendly and engaging. I highly recommend this tour company for the solo traveler. I received updates for my pick-up time the day before my trip and our driver Adan arrived right on time.
This excursion was very nice. We had a really good time and I would recommend it! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and conscious of his time management.
The Mayan ruins were amazing. The whole site is well preserved and every spot is a perfect picture spot :) Then thr cenotes were wonderful!! We went to 3 cenotes where you can swim and one surrounded by “tyrolienne”! The lunch was also super good, you could taste that the food is fresh and local.
JoseLina is the BEST. Came with my teen son and he said this was our best day in Tulum (so far). The tulum ruins were a pleasure to take in and our guides guidance was excellent to understand the history. The cenotes and zip lining in Tankah park were so much fun and a beautiful scene. Finally lunch at Taquiera Maya was delicious.
The views were amazing, the whole tour was wonderful and the guide Iber was the best we met on our two week trip. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and showing us around! It was great!
The views were breathtaking! We took some incredible photos! We loved the nature, seeing the iguanas and swimming in the cenotes! The food was fire! Also loved the hospitality of the staff! Especially Ibar our tour guide, he was very knowledgeable and fun! He did everything with us and it made us feel so much more comfy and safe! The company was punctual and kind! Highly reccomend!
We really enjoyed and appreciated this excursion. The guide was very knowledgeable and attuned to the group. Each part of the tour was well timed - enough time to enjoy it and not have any waiting/down time. The meal at the end was also excellent. I would highly recommend this tour and this tour company.
Mexico Kan is my absolute favorite tour company in Tulum. This is my fourth year using them.. The trip was so much fun and very well planned out Paloma and Ernesto did an amazing job of making history come alive and the cenotes with the zip lines were so much fun. Paloma was very personable and enjoyable to be around. Ernesto was an amazing driver and made us feel very relaxed on the road. The taqueria we went to had amazing tacos and was making the tortillas right there in the restaurant
Paloma and Ruben were fantastic guides and so full of information that brought the whole experience together. I would do it again within a heartbeat.
The tour was amazing, especially our tour guide Carlos! He knows a lot about the history, the Mayan culture and the animals. We went to the tulum ruins, two cenotes where we did kayaking, snorkeling and ziplining and enjoyed some really good food. We can highly recommend!
Everything was amazing is one of the things that will keep in my core memory forever, pablo. Was more than professional and kind. Definitely I will go back
Awesome experience overall. Pablo is a great tour guy! Knowledgeable, fun and accommodating. Would definitely use this service again.
We took the jungle adventure tour in Tulum, and it was so much fun. Our guide Iber had a good amount of historical knowledge of the ruins and the ecosystem. He brought homemade baklava which was delicious! I was so grateful that the tour started early because the jaguar park area was starting to fill up with tour groups and other people just as we were leaving. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel doorstep. The lunch was wonderful, and the timing of the whole tour was perfect. We left our hotel around seven and we were back before 2 PM.
Nico was a very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. He knew a lot about ancient Mayan civilizations and modern day Tulum. His choice of Cenotes were a lot of fun and beautiful. Overall I had a really fun and amazing experience!!
The guide was funny and knowledgeable. Food was great. Transportation was reliable and comfortable. And most importantly, they were very communicative from booking until the experience.
We had a great time even with the weather conditions. Our tour guides were nice and informative. They gave us treats between the locations and took great care of us! The food was also great!
This was our second tour with Mexicokan tours. Paloma was our tour guide and she was very friendly, informative and a pleasure to hang out with! The food was delicious and it gave you a good view of the Mayan culture and community. I highly recommend this tour.
I loved this tour so much! We loved Paloma so much that we re-booked a tour with her. This is perfect for zipline beginners and the best food we’ve had! Amazing experience, you will love it. Snorkelling, cannoing and lip lines. Fun, fun, fun.
Carlos was AMAZINGGG! He was very informative and provided us with excellent guidance and knowledge throughout the tour. It was a very humbly experience yet exciting visit. He’s the absolute best tour guide & wonderful human to spend the day with. He made the best out of the entire day and never lost his joy or smile. :)
Carlos was absolutely amazing. Very informative and personalable. He went above and beyond best tour guide i’ve ever had!!
We loved our tour guide Carlos so much! He was very attentive, educational, and made our bachelorette experience soooo fun!!!
We love Carlos! He was very educational and there was not dull moment. The tour was amazing and easy to understand! Would recommend to anyone
We had an incredible experience with Leire on the Tulum Jungle Adventure tour! We were originally booked for the Mayan Inland Expedition tour, and unfortunately, there were not enough people booked to make that trip happen. The company gave us 2 alternative expedition options, and we are very glad we chose the jungle adventure. Leire was very knowledgeable and personable, the pickup and drop off at our hotel went smoothly, and we had a lot of fun with the activities and the other family was very pleasant. We cannot wait to return and use Mexico Kan Tours again for more adventures!
The cenotes were great, had a lot of fun jumping off the cliffs, ziplining. Our tour guide Alondra was knowledgeable and funny. Highly recommend this tourand guide.
This tour was amazing! Great guide and fantastic food. We loved all the cenotes and being able to experience lots of different things all in one day. Really informational and authentic. Must do.
One of the best experience of my trip! From the start Luigi (guide) and Victor (driver) were amazing. They were enthusiastic about the day and had great knowledge of the Mayan Ruins and the Cenotes. Luigi catered to our every need and did everything he could to make sure we made the best memories. Also the lunch at the end was incredible. Definitely can’t miss this if in Tulum!
Great tour! Beautiful cenotes, beautiful Tulum ruins, fun zip lining (not too scary) awesome tour guide! Amazing food as well.
Carlos was a friendly and informative guide! I had an amazing day and lots of fun snorkelling in the clear cenotes and zip lining
The Tulum ruins are fascinating, and our guide Cesar was very knowledgeable. The timing of the tiur was perfect, no line to enter when we arrived, vs. a very long line and wait to get in as we were leaving. The cenotes were beautiful, and each one we went to was different. I didn't want to zipline but Cesar encouraged me, and this 68-year old woman with 2 artificial hips and a fear of heights had a blast! There were two German women in our group of 5, and while they spoke English, Cesar would frequently check in with them in German, one of the six languages he speaks.
We started the day at the Tulum ruins, before the crowd arrives, wich is amazing. The place itself is amazing, you cant get enough of the view. The adventure at the park is great, we had a really good time, and were luck enough to have it just for our small group. At the park you can not take pictures, there is a local photographer, and you can buy the pictures at the end, they are not pushy about it wich is nice. In this tour our guide was Iber, very cool guy, shared all his mayan knowledge with us.
This review is long overdue but this excursion was amazing. It was my second time in Tulum and the cenotes and ziplining areas we went to were very serene and had few people. Guide was very engaging and informative and we learned a lot about the ruins and history.
Spent a beautiful day with Miguel and his driver for the Tulum Jungle Tour. My morning (before the tour) started out kind of bad. I was feeling like I had a stomach bug and thought I wasnt going to be able to come on the tour. Miguel was SO KIND to escort me to a pharmacy around the block from their office and got some things to help. Good as new!! Im so happy I was able to go because it was INCREDIBLE. Miguel was very knowledgable and answered all of our MANY questions. You can tell he loves his job because he speaks with such love and passion for the history, culture, and the nature. We took pictures at the ruins but left our phones in the cubbies at the cenotes. They had a guy at the cenotes taking photos for everyone which were a reasonable price to purchase at the end so we did because he got some amazing shots. The above ground cenotes were absolutely stunning and like a dream. Wear your swimsuit underneath your clothes as it will be easier and id also bring a towel. I forgot mine. You can take your own snorkel but Miguel had enough for everyone if they needed it. The zip line was so fun and canoing back was magical! The first cenote there was a spot to get in, an option to zip line in, and or you could jump from the small cliff. I did all 3! The lunch was so beautiful in a covered open air picnic style setting and the food was delicious. There was a tequila tasting at the end which was kinda awesome .... and wish I had brought money to buy a bottle as it was small batch family owned tequila company. Miguel provided plenty of water and THE BEST home made granola bars and bananas for early morning snack. Everything from pick up to drop off was perfect. Muchas Gracias!!! We will be back!!!
Our guide Carlos was wonderful and so knowledgeable! Can’t recommend this tour enough. Highlight of our time in Tulum.
