The zip lining was great! The reservation said we would ride ATV for 45 minutes but it was more like 25 minutes. We were told that we would get Mexican food but they ran out of meat and only gave us cheese empanadas. We were told that the pictures would be $20 USD, but they charged us $50. Our guide was great and the drivers were great. Just felt like there was some misleading advertisement with the experience.

Everything was really fun! We were late getting started and didn’t end up getting to go horse back riding. When our group and my family were all on the bus about to go back to our resort, they pretty much made to sign a form saying we can’t any kind of partial refund for not getting to do horse back riding that we paid for. They didn’t really leave us much of a choice but to sign. Everything was great but that kind of made us a little salty.
Good combo of activities done, CJ was a great guide very nice and informative with explaining how things go. He was friendly and easy to talk to.
This experience was average, nothing more, nothing less. However the amount of time they have to expect to spend is quoted at significantly less, a below average quote by far. We were supposed to do horses, but at already 6.5 hours being there, just wanted to get home. We went back with an earlier group and still was 2 hours over the quoted time. The group I was in had 16 people. Way too much for one group, which of course makes the timing stretch long for each person to zip line and for the whole tour to go through the cycles. This should have easily been quoted for 7.5 hours. The cenote is smaller and has a lot of people in it at once, so we decided to skip ours out of preference of not being lumped with so many others in a small area. The food was ok, rice, beans and a little bit dried quesadillas with salsa. This was average, you do get what you paid for and everyone is friendly, but don't expect bells and whistles.
We had soooo much fun on this excursion. Sergio was our guide and he was absolutely amazing. Overall the experience was a 10/10. My favorite part was the cenote swimming. It was BEAUTIFUL! I have to add the only downside to this was that Viator says they offer hotel pick up and they ask you to put in your pickup location, however they do not. They will text you prior to pick up with a meeting point and you’re responsible for getting yourself to the meeting point to be picked up.
I was already feeling unwell the morning of the tour, but since cancellations within 24 hours aren’t refunded, I decided to push through. Some of the people from my group were smoking marijuana during the ride to the cenote. Once we arrived, we had a quick briefing and then rode quads in a single file along a very dusty road. If you do decide to go, bring large glasses and a bandana otherwise, you’ll be eating dust. We stayed on a line and breaking constantly . The person behind me crashed into me twice, and one quad in front of us broke down, Next came the Mayan ceremony which was supposed to be a meaningful cultural moment. Some of the group left halfway through. Then we went to the zip line a short, fully supported drop into the water. Not what I’d call “adrenaline-inducing.” While waiting, I saw the previous group on horseback being led down the same dusty road, not a jungle like the description sais, the horses were literally pulled by guides on a rope, which felt a bit sad. By that point, I decided to leave early with the previous group, and I never even made it into the cenote. After more than 2.5 hours, I had experienced neither immersion in Mayan culture nor a genuine adventure in the jungle. Not recommended. This felt more like a tourist trap than an authentic experience.
our guide víctor and the entire team we’re so wonderful and attentive! everything was such a blast and everyone had a smile on their face and made the experience incredible. we would love to come again. definitely a 15/10 experience:)
It was truly the best day ever! I couldn’t stop saying that throughout! Our tour guide Sergio was a mix of funny, attentive, and educated! I learned so much and also had a great time! This experience felt divinely orchestrated by God and it was so nice to connect with my adventure side. As a solo traveler, I did not feel alone. I connected with great people. All of the staff were wonderful. An awesome time, can’t wait to come back with family. We even had a Mayan lunch at the end of the trip! Have a nice breakfast with some protein cause you’ll be active all morning & afternoon! I made it off some cranberry and nut trail mix. You’ll be fine! Hope you have the best time!
Went with a large group and ahhhhh sooooo fun! Make sure to have something for the dust (sunglasses/face mask) while driving atvs but ahhhhh the cenote was beautiful!!!
I recommend booking and experiencing this! This is my second time and still can’t get enough. Went with my husbands and my friends and ahhhhh soooo much fun! The cenote at the end is beautiful
This excursion was fun! Rafael was our tour guide and he was definitely a character! A lot of personality and kept things interesting. The cenote was the best part, it was beautiful. The horse ride was very fast, not too long. All the other activities lasted at Least 45 mins.
This was so amazing, we had the best tour guide ever too! His name is Sergio and he helped calm me before we did the big zip line which ended up being one my favorite parts! So beautiful, like flying! Also the ceynote in the cave was mystical, big roots of the Seba tree of life that reached down into the cave and water…wow!
This experience was mostly worth the money. After comparing many similar options in Tulum, I decided on this for a group of 5. The deciding factor was the added horseback riding experience. Although I'm rating it 4 stars, here's my overall breakdown: 1. Our guide Christian was great, super engaging and funny. Top tier. 2. The ATVs were good but I wish we had more of a tour-like experience. We spent close to 45 minutes, but we basically went down a long path, turned around and came back down the same path. Plenty of rough terrain, mud, rocks to enjoy them though. 3. Ziplines were fun. 5 ziplines in total, the last two being very high and long! My only complaint is that they didn't let us know there is a weight requirement for some of the ziplines, so one person missed two of the five. This was a major disappointment as the experience was booked for that specific person. 4. Horseback riding was unnecessary. This was maybe 15-20 minutes of a slow and guided ride which was literally outside the park and back. Think of the horseback rides typically seen at a carnival or kids birthday party. 5. The cenote was beautiful! You spend about 30-40 minutes swimming/walking through it learning about the history and significance of the cenote. You don't have to be a great swimmer to experience the cenote. Beware though, it is initially very cold. There are some fruit bats but they weren't noticeable and were very quiet. 6. Lunch was okay. It should hold you until you get to where you'd like to go afterward. Overall, it was fun and my group had a good time.
The excursions were great! Victor our guide is the BEST!!! We loved the authencity of being in the jungle.
This was really fun! we got a van for horseback riding, multiple ziplines, underground cenote and a van to pick up and drop us off. they also included a light lunch and lemonade
This is s great tour for all ages. For zip lining there are various levels and you can do all or any of your choice. Very flexible. Our guide Sergio was amazing!! He was very accommodating and took care of everyone in the group. He was very helpful and friendly. He made sure the pace of the tour suited everyone’s needs. He was a 5 star tour guide. My only suggestion would be to pack some snacks because lunch is provided at the end and it’s around 1:30-2:00 pm. All activities are super fun. Pack water shoes for the Cenote activities. Horseback riding was at the end and was cut short to a small walk but you can opt out of it too. On the whole a great full day trip. Thanks Sergio, for being an awesome guide:)
The cenote was the highlight of the trip. The ATVs were fun but it’s pretty quick, wish that part was a bit longer. The long zip line was great, but the others were ok. It’s like having a teaser as you would want to zip line a little more in the jungle. The horseback riding was the least enjoyable as you rode the same road as the ATVs, a guide was pulling your horse so you didn’t have the freedom to ride it yourself. Should at least gone on a trail vs the road. The ride was a total of 10 minutes long. Horses were beautiful & well maintained. Our guide, Rafael, was amazing. Lots of interesting information about the history. Food was simple, but we enjoyed it. Be sure to tip so remember to bring the extra cash. The photo package was a bit expensive. After looking at them today, I should have negotiated because some were quiete blurry.
AMAZZZZZIIINNNNGGG!!!! Everything was an adventure and enjoyed just being one with nature and seeing all the beauty of the jungle. Cenote was my #1 favorite then the ATVs, Zip Lining and horse back riding 🙌🏾💗
Five stars!! Our tour guide was amazing! He was patient and had a great personality! So much to do for the perfect price!
Pickup was not in the lobby and actually outside main gate which was not communicated well but once figured out things went smoothly. ATV riding went very well, they sell bandanas to help with the dust and I would suggest buying one or bringing your own as the dust is terrible on the roads used. Our horseback riding portion wasn't shared by everyone else in our group, seemed pushed in on the side and hurried so we could "catch up" with everyone else, not a favorite moment of the tour. Ziplines were fu but we were still playing catchup so hurried through, terrain is like an intense hike already so the extra effort was a bit grueling. The rappel is almost a joke, going down maybe 15 feet over a ledge, but it is there. The Cenote swim at the end was actually very cool, especially the water temp! Be prepared for a cold dip but well worth it after all the exercise and to see a cool cave. A couple taquitos with beans and rice for lunch rounds it all out, not gourmet or going to stuff you but gets the job done.
Good excursion and a great host. However, the horseback riding was a complete waste of time. It was about 5 minutes and we went down the road and back. One of the riders, an employee was holding onto the horse the entire ride, while the rest of us, they didn’t. Most definitely was not worth the extra money. However, the rest of the trip was great. Plus, they initially told us they would meet us at a hotel, and on our way there, they tell us sorry. We can’t go there anymore. And they were late for pick up. But other than that, it was good. Lunch was “ok.” The host definitely made the experience
Everything on this package was awesome, we were team jungle! Victor was a great leader! From South Africa to Mexico
Amazing experience!!! Definitely recommend! Sooo many activities for just $100. Definitely will do this again
I really value reviews so that’s why I’m writing one. Our tour guide Samuel, was AMAZING. He knew so much about the Mayan culture and taught us so much. He was also hilarious & made everyone feel like family. Everything from the zip lines, atvs, cenotes & food was amazing. The horseback riding was okay, I just started to feel bad for the horses because they seem very tired & overworked. They’re not mistreated, I think it’s just a lot of riding for them in one day with all the people. But I’m also a super sensitive person, so that was the only negative thing I could say. Other than that everything was AMAZING especially for the price.
This was so much fun! Such an adrenaline rush and the horseback riding was so relaxing. I don’t think there was enough time for my group to do both rappel and horseback riding but I really enjoyed everything. The wait to get to the activities was a bit long we were put into groups I believe it was no more than 12 of us. The atv’s kept dying at least mine did but still an enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend this experience if you’re looking for an adrenaline rush during your vacation!
ATV and Horse back riding was a little short. It was about 15mins each activity. The horses weren’t in the best condition, you can tell they don’t get a lot of attention. Cj was a great tour guide!!!! please bring bug spray !!
horse back riding was a joke, we did not want to be lead around like a kid on a pony. they did not offer us a refund or anything. the atv are needing updated or repaired Victor our guide was really great - he tried his best
ATVs, Ziplining and cenotes was fun. Was too tired to finish the rest of tour and did not want to ride horses in the jungle. Too much walking in jungle and hiking on rocky grounds thru the woods. Exhausting!
We were supposed to have the 10 hour day but it was closer to 5 hours. The ATV and horse back riding are not really worth it. During our ATV ride, we had to stop multiple times because peoples AT s we’re breaking down. There’s not much of a view or nice scenery, you just ride around a bunny road. Once we got our lunch, we were rushed to eat it because they told us we had to go. The zip lining and cenotes part was amazing. Our guide was also great!
Highly recommend booking with Maya Adventure! Everyone employed with this company went above & beyond to show their guests a great time and make lasting memories!! We had so much fun and were pleasantly surprised with the GORGEOUS photos we received at the end for only $40 USD! ***Tulum is hot, book the earlier adventures!** Pedro was a fantastic guide!!! Having been a tour guide myself, I can promise you will enjoy Pedro. Note: guides are much like waiters and make most of their income off of tips. 20% is customary. Don’t forget to tip your guide! And I do suggest bringing a handkerchief or purchasing one if you’re going on the 4 wheelers. It’s fun & dusty.
Fernando 8 was a great host. Very energetic and very informative and also the food was great as well.
It was really fun! I had an amazing experience at this excursion and all of this was because we had a great tour guide Victor. Victor made everything go well he made sure we were okay at every single activity. He was kind and approachable. He loves his job and we had such a fantastic experience. I would definitely recommend this excursion since it was affordable.
Our tour guide Rafa was The best! He spoke really good English he was real funny and had a lot of knowledge about the history of the Mayans and the cenote‘s. My favorite part was going into the underground cenote‘s and learning about the spiritual meaning and what the cenote’s mean to the Mayan people. The ATVs in the beginning we’re not well-maintained so if you are a beginner and I’ve never ridden one before be careful. We had a young girl in our group have an accident in the first five minutes that we started our tour. The zip line was fun, there are three of them. The horseback riding was cool and they fed us a small lunch. They keep you moving from activity to activity so you’ll definitely be tired once it’s all over definitely worth it.
My favorite part of this excursion was having CJ as our guide. He is AMAZING, and such an understanding and patient person. He truly made sure that our experience the best that it could be
Our guide Toro was amazing, he was very nice and took great care of us all day. The experience was fun and challenging. We truly recommend going on the adventure
Pedro was the best tour guide ever! He was informative and kept us on time. He was knowledgeable and very friendly. When I come back, I will request Pedro to be my guide!!
Pedro did a great job with guiding us on the tour, he made sure we all were safe and having fun. I highly recommend this to all my friends back in the States.
Our tour guide Victor was amazing and made our trip so so special! I’m not much of an adrenaline junkie but this full day experience was so worth it, especially since my group had great vibes all around. It was so fun and the lunch that was included was delicious - we had chilaquiles, beans, rice and chicken taquitos and got a margarita for good measure. My favorite part was for sure the swimming through the cenote and underground river. we had a beautiful experience and Victor made us feel very well taken care of and comfortable. Would highly recommend if you’re down for a jungle excursion!
Overall the tour was ok. The pickup from Tulum Super Aki was seamless. The drive to the adventure was decent. There was no warning or notification that we would have to carry our belongings along on the zipline. That was awful!!!!! The cenotes was fun!! And much needed after a long day in the sun. I didn't really like doing the ATV and horseback riding AFTER the cenotes tour. The ATV course could be a bit longer on a more scenic area. The horseback riding was a complete waste of time. They were guided instead of allowing to walk freely. It was really brief but I didn't mind. The lunch was subpar.
It was amazing CJ was a great guide zip line caves bats amazing would recommend for a great time Food was good everyone friendly
We had a great time atv-ing followed by zip lining the longest zip line in south 🇲🇽 !We enjoyed swimming in a beautiful cenote learning of Mayan traditions and how the Mayans believed that it connects the worlds. Finally we finished with lunch which was some of the best Mexican food we had the whole trip! I definitely recommend booking with Maya adrenaline tours!
Great experience! Lunch wasn’t too special but knocked the edge off until we got back to our resort. Definitely would recommend.
This experience was a bunch of fun. The only thing I would change is that I would not book the horses. While it was fun, it took away from our time in the cenote, which was unlike any cenote I had ever seen. I highly recommend this experience!
Great with instructions everything was fun we are glad that we went on this trip it was a great experience!
Great experience.. our tour guide Julio was very helpful… we had a great time . The lemonade was really good
By far the best excursion experience I’ve had so far! ATV rides were exciting, loved the zip line course, and the cenote experience was AMAZING! Although there was a little waiting around, there was a very good flow and our guide, Fernando, was super engaging and knowledgeable. The history and details he shared during our cenote swim were great. There were multiple zip lines, a long ATV ride, and a long swim through an underwater cave, and those three activities were where I experienced the most value for what we paid! The only drawbacks were the horseback riding (it’s a very slow ride, horses weren’t keen on trotting or galloping at all) and the food (don’t expect much on that front). The rappelling was very short, kind of an afterthought activity, but still nice. Overall wonderful experience and I would highly recommend booking!
The lunch they provided was mediocre. They gave rice with eggs and some beans and some watered down lemonade. You definitely wanna bring some bug spray because the mosquitoes had a field day off me lol…the horse back riding wasn’t pleasant. It wasn’t comfortable at all but getting bitten by those mosquitoes made it more terrible…other than what I’ve mentioned above it was a fun filled experience, all fun.
DO NOT BOOK. Not only did we not get hotel pick up from our hotel or the hotel they sent us too, we missed the horse back riding, worse ride ever to get to the excursion site. All the guides do is beg for tips after paying all this money and I didn’t get to do anything. They won’t even refund me some of my money for missing out on the “included” activities. So unaccommodating even though every bad thing that happened was on them.
My girl and I had an awesome time with our tour guide isaias. We was very informative, funny, and and very friendly. He took us through a cave/senote, zipline riding, atv riding, and lunch. We Highly recommend this place and our tour guide isaias. It’s an experience you will never forget, they also took professional picture of us as well.
I really enjoyed my time at Maya Adrenaline! We had so much fun, our tour guide was helpful, funny and reliable. He helped us the entire time and made sure we were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this excursion and Fernando as a tour guide!!!
