Tulum Day Tour Cenote And Swimming With Turtles From Cancun

This was an amazing day, swimming with turtles, stingrays, Squid and many fish. The tulum ruins are incredible, and swimming in the cenotes are so cool. Our guide Freddy and driver Jonathan were fantastic, super knowledgeable and helpful with lots to tell us about the history of the region. Would definitely recommend!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! 🐢🐠 Our snorkelling guide Charlie was brilliant and took us to see the turtles, coral reef, stingrays and beautiful tropical fish. It was such an amazing experience, and we made some lovely memories. There were lots of large groups from other tours but we went just us 4 and Charlie which was perfect 👌 Our tour guide and driver Johnathan was absolutely fantastic and took us to the cenote. He was so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable, and made the whole experience even better. He made sure we were comfortable and safe throughout the trip, was happy to answer any questions and went above and beyond to make sure we had a brilliant day. You could really tell he cared about giving us the best experience possible. He was an absolute credit to the company, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide and driver. The food at the cenote was lovely too( all included in the price except drinks) which was an added bonus! Everything was well organised, and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Miguel and Jose (Chepe) were very friendly and professional and very knowledgeable about the sites. In particular Chepe’s knowledge of Mayan history/culture. Despite challenging weather conditions it was overall a great trip to experience different things in and around Tulum.

We did the turtle sanctuary excursion at akumal bay and visited the fresh water cenotes that ended with a beautiful buffet lunch at the end. Our trip guide was Jose or “Cheppie” and he was wonderful, very informative regarding the local history, Mayan customs and even the food! We had Charlie for the snorkeling portion and we saw plenty of turtles and fish among the reefs. It was really special with Charlie giving us as much information as he could about the things we were seeing. It was a an all day excursion so there was a fair amount of walking but nothing crazy just something to be aware of. I would highly recommend this excursion and especially Ekinox Tours, they were fantastic!!

If you want turtles, history and amazing caves in day , this is your trip. Moo our guide was amazing and the driver was very attentive and friendly which topped it.

We had an absolutely amazing day with Estrella! 🐢✨ The whole experience was incredibly well organized, and we managed to do so many different activities all in one day. We started by swimming with sea turtles, which was such a special experience. We then had a very interesting archaeological visit to Tulum, where we learned a lot about the history of the site. After that, we enjoyed a delicious lunch and had the chance to try some new things. We also visited two different cenotes, each with its own unique atmosphere, and one of the highlights was watching chocolate being made live — such a fun and interesting experience! 🍫 Everything was planned perfectly, without ever feeling rushed. The organization was excellent, and we felt that our money was really well spent. It was definitely worth it, and we would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area! A big thank you to Estrella for making the day so memorable! ❤️

Fernando was an outstanding guide for a fun-filled day of sights and adventure. Everything was well organized and timed beautifully to avoid the crowds. Great value because we got to see and do everything we wanted all in one package.

We did three day trips with Ekinox; Holbox, Chichén Itxa and Tulum. The guides were outstanding, very knowledgeable and super nice; the food in the restaurants was delicious and the places we visited were beautiful and very historical. I highly recommend Ekinox, they are highly professional.

The tour was amazing . Jose and Miguel were so nice. They were very informative and Jose and my year-old son really bonded. It just felt like we were visiting family in Mexico thank you Jose and Miguel and I hope tobe back soon.

Great Day and Family friendly. Freddy was a knowledgeable guide and Victor was a good driver. We wish to have more time at the cenote and less time trying to sell us souvenirs at shops. Buffet should include drinks in vost especially in the summer. Overall the spots are great, but more time needs to be added to each in order to feel less rushed.

Jesus and Luigi were amazing for the entire day! They were on time to pick up, informational and funny. My girls loved this day trip and the turtles were a definite highlight!

Our tour began promptly with pickup by Jimmy and Carlos Moo. They were early and we were able to arrive at Tulum early before lines began. Carlos gave us a tour and history lesson before giving us some time to explore on our own. We visited the Cnotes next and basically had that to ourselves as well!! There were 14 of us so it was great. The lunch was delicious. Next stop was swimming with sea turtles and the father and son guides were fantastic. Especially with the 5 children all under 10. Overall this was a great tour and we highly recommend it, Jimmy and Carlos!

I had an amazing time on the From Cancun: Tulum and Akumal Cenote and Turtle Swim Tour. It was fantastic value for money and such a fun day from start to finish. Our guide, Estrella, was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He made the tour really interesting and enjoyable, and always made us feel safe and well looked after throughout the day. The lunch was excellent, with a great variety of food to choose from, and our driver was friendly, professional, and efficient. He picked us up right on time and drove safely all day, which made the experience even more relaxing. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cancun. It was well organised, memorable, and definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Excellent all day trip, after collection from the resort we are go straight to swimming with turtles, stingrays, calamari and lots of different fishes. Next stop, Tulum, beautiful Mayan city by Caribbean sea. Lovely walk thru the Mayan history, lots of knowledge and interesting facts provided by our guide Estrella. Quick shuttle to the next stop, lunch time, very tasty all you can eat Mexican buffet. After lunch, free time for shopping, tequila testing or swimming in two beautiful Cenotes. Refreshed in cristal clean and perfect cool water we was ready to back home.

What a memorable day! A perfect mix of Tulum ruins, cenote, local foods and top it off with a swim with the turtles. Luis Malufo (driver) and Luis Estrella (tour guide) were a great team. On time, informative with a touch of humour. Highly recommended for families looking for a day out in good company.

Stitch was amazing! Tour has sufficient time to enjoy swimming with turtle, visiting 2 cenotes, and walking around tulum ruins. It includes the all you can eat buffet which’s nice too. Stitch is also a friendly tour guide!

EXCEPTIONAL!!! Angel Kavil and Wilbur are fantastic guide and driver!! We swam with and saw several turtles and fish! We were in a downpour at the Mayan ruins AND it was enjoyable!! Lunch and swimming in the Cenotes is a MUST!! FABULOUS tour!!! AWESOME!!

Snorkeling to swim with Turtles and see the coral reefs was the biggest highlight. A must visit. This is natural habitat of the Turtles. The water guides take all precautions and make it amazingly comfortable even for first time swimmers. The next is the dip or swim in Cenotes. Cold, clear water in the Cenotes make it refreshing for the whole body. Our tour operator Eqinox responded timely. The driver made sure the drive is safe and comfortable. Tour guide provided lots of information throughout the tour. Overall tiring but enjoyable tour. Things to Improve- We had breakfast at 630am as our pickup time was 715am. The tour offered us lunch at 330 pm, almost 9 hours later. That was tough and exhausting. The tour should have stuck to the schedule posted on GYG. Changing the sequence led to very late lunch and visit to the Tulum ruins in the middle of a very hot day. If you are planning to go to Chichen Itza then skip Tulum Ruins. Its not worth the effort.

We had the best time exploring Tulum, the cenotes and snorkeling with turtles. I am a massive fan of turtles and this was a birthday present. I managed to see several turtles chomping on sea grass in their natural habitat. Our driver, Luiz, was nothing but courteous, polite and friendly. Our tour guide, Jesus Cueves was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We learnt so much from him and I feel I've come away with so much new information about the Mayans. He was very professional and no question was ever a problem. He did the tour in English as this was the language of the group, yet it was his second language and he explained everything so clearly. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone thinking about booking it! There may be one couple in our group who may complain about today, but they were so negative from the moment they got on the minibus before we started and did not participate as part of the group. If they do review and you see it, I would ignore them.

We had such a lovely day. Jesus Cuevesa and Barabona were great hosts and driver. Jesus had loads of knowledge. The cenotes were lovely, not too busy. We saw lots of turtles too! I also loved they didn’t try and upsell at every stop, which we have had on most trips.

Perfect trip managed by Jesus. I highly recommend it.

This is an excellent full day tour. A lot of fun, and well worth the money! Glad I ate a good breakfast before meeting the bus. And I got so many amazing pictures during the day!

We had an incredible experience with our guide, Jesus Cuevas. He was immensely knowledgeable about the history of the Tulum ruins and the Maya people/culture. It was a full day experience and the lunch they provided was amazing! My only suggestion would be to eat a big breakfast and bring some snacks because it was some time before we ate. But overall really great experience.

We truly enjoyed our experience. Jose was our driver and did a great job. Freddie was our tour guide. He was knowledgeable and very friendly. We had a diverse group on our trip and he spoke many languages. Our first stop was swimming with the turtles. There are changing rooms to switch into/out of your swimsuits. This was amazing! Our 2nd stop was Tulum. You cannot take in any plastic (water bottles, granola bars, etc.). Freddie explained all of the ruins to us. It was very warm and sunny during our tour. I saw people with umbrellas so they could have shade. You could rent them there, but I’m guessing you could bring your own as well. After viewing the ruins we spent time in the mall. There are lots of souvenirs you can purchase, ice cream and more. Our last stop was at the cenotes. We had lunch here with an authentic Mexican buffet-very delicious. Food is included but you must pay for any drinks. A can of pop was $3USD. There are 2 cenotes you can visit. The water is cold but it’s beautiful. I highly recommend this trip, especially Jose & Freddie.
