Tulum, Snorkeling With Sea Turtles, Cenote And Beachside Lunch

We had the pleasure of joining Ramon’s party bus which took us to the various activities, whilst Jared’s fun approach ensured that we were fully prepared for each activity whilst still able to enjoy things. Great day out and worth the money.

We saw 5 sea turtles and the water was warm. The denotes water was cold but you get used to it. Inside the “caves” was very interesting. If you have claustrophobia do not participate. Cancún adventure made everything go smoothly from pick up to drop off

Jared and Ramon were fantastic and I loved snorkeling with the turtles. Jared was knowledgeable about the Cenotes and I learned a lot.

Simply the perfect tour!! It is an all-in one experience. Checko was our guide and he is very knowledgeable, funny and engaging, very passionate about his job. We spent a lot of time in the archaeological site and he gave us a lot of information. But my favourite part has been the cenote, simply stunning. It is a pleasant day, very enjoyable and with a great atmosphere! I really recommend it!!

Our tour guide and driver were both excellent and the feedback points about the cenote do not in any way reflect on them. The co-ordination of the day and insight into the cenote in particular were great. Pick up was straightforward and the drive was easy. We had one bus to the main office and then another for the rest of the day. Both were comfortable. Tulum is really interesting to see and I definitely recommend it. I'm not sure it's really big enough to warrant a guide. The cenote is beautiful. It's completely enclosed so a very different expereince to another we visitied. Here the guide was really valuable. The turtle experience was great in many ways (we saw turtles and that was super!) but also a bit odd. There were about 100+ tourists floating about in a fairly shallow (~2-3m) area and it looked quite comical from the shore. Definitely more 'touristy' than my expectation, but that's possibly my naivety. Lunch was good (burritos are better than tacos in the views of our group) and the drinks are very reasonably priced. Nice setting. The only real issue we had was that, as no devices are allowed into the cenote, you are dependant on their photographer for any pics. I understand this is a source of income for the cenote, but I felt that $50 for 1 photo or $70 for the set was excessive, particularly having paid a decent amount for the trip. Also, the cenote is exclusively used by Cancun Adventures so this just felt like a bit of a rip off tbh. The only other minor thing was that there were some people on our group who were consistently behind schedule. While this isn't Cancun Adventure's explicit responsibility, it did mean that we were standing around quite a bit and I felt that more could have been done. I would still recommend this tour as it's a good way to see the three different attractions but I think the feedback points are worth noting.

What a brilliant day, Gato our guide and Daniel our driver were great. Gato was fantastic, funny, knowledgeable and kept us entertained all through the day. The tour was great, got to visit Tulum, a beautiful Cenote and swam with Turtles. The day ending in a beautiful beachfront location with tasty lunch. A day we won’t forget in a long time! Thank you.

The ruins were very interesting to see! Also, the Cenote’ and the beachside meal were the highlights of the day I felt. The Cenote was very relaxing and interesting and such a relief from the blazing hot ruins in Tulum. We DID have a great driver and tour guide! The roads.. on the other hand, getting TO the Cenote’ and also getting TO the beachside cafe’ were absolutely awful.. had a couple people in our group that really struggled with motion sickness from them. The Sea Turtles portion I felt was not very good.. it is advertised as snorkeling in a lagoon, with pictures posted that match.. this was a boat that drove us partway out and we jumped into the ocean/bay.. where the waves were a bit overwhelming unless you are a great swimmer.. (yes had lifejackets on, but was still a bit rough) I have no idea but am guessing the water may have been 15-20 feet deep here.. or more.. the weather definitely DID play into it, but also had no overview of how to snorkel.. which it was my first time and I struggled and ultimately swam back to shore exhaustedly. The rest of the group made it in eventually only seeing 1 turtle (visibility In the water was really bad) and complaining about the rough water as well.. Of course the seaweed was really bad, meaning you literally had to tromp through about 3 feet deep of it on the sand to get out of the water. I feel the description is VERY misleading..Out of 5 stars… I would give the sea turtle portion a 1… Tulum a 4. the Cenote and lunch a 5. Also, we had a 1 hour delay in the morning AFTER we had all been picked up.. before being able to go to Tulum because of another tours Van’s mechanical issue.. a 6.5 hr trip turned into a 9 hr somehow. So I would also give the delay and overall length/timing about a 2 star.. Which brings me to the 4 star rating overall.. I think this trip would be best taking out the sea turtle portion.. because also since all 4 events are in different locations it just makes for a long day..

We had such a great time on our Tulum tour! We got to snorkel with the turtles, swim in the cenotes, and see the Mayan ruins, so it was a really fun day with a little bit of everything. Our guide, Gato, was awesome. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole day really enjoyable. He kept us laughing, answered all of our questions, and made sure we were having a good time throughout the entire tour. Swimming with the turtles was definitely one of our favorite parts, and the cenotes were beautiful. Seeing the Mayan ruins in person was also really cool and something we’ll remember from our honeymoon. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this tour, especially if you get Gato as your guide!

Gato & Adrian make a good team. The history lessons by Gato, to include visual aid drawings, about the sites and general history of the area were great. Adrian was Johnny on the spot with great support, driving, and helpful advise.

Gato and adrian did a very good job taking us through this very fun excursion. Adrian made sure we made it safe and sound to every destination and keeping an eye on our belongings. Gato was very informative, nice and funny he made every destination memorable! Hope you guys get them, best duo!

My girlfriend and I had an AMAZING time with tour guides Gato & Adrian! Gato was so full of energy, funny jokes, and also was very intelligent and knowledgeable about all aspects of our trip. He was extremely thorough in preparing us for all the large & small details of what we might encounter on the trip, but most of all, his personality was very caring and both my girlfriend and I felt he was our dear friend by the end. Highly highly recommend you request Gato & Adrian for this trip!

Cato and Jorge were great guides!! They were on time, early even allowing us to get to Tulum early and avoid the crowds before going to the cenotes and snorkling to find sea turtles! We greatly enjoyed this excursion and would definitely do it again!

We were looked after brilliantly. Gate kept us informed and made the whole day so much fun. Each stop did not feel rushed and he even took one person under their wing who couldn’t swim ! The organisation was fabulous and we felt very cared for .

An absolutely fantastic day out and cultural experience. It ticks so many boxes - I would say it’s a must do if you are visiting the area. . Phillippe and Mario (gato) were our hosts and we were well looked after. Very informative about the locations and history , kind and patient and didn’t feel rushed even though we fit so much in to the one day. The cenote is amazing and the cool water is welcome after a walk around Tulum, but I don’t think I’ll ever forget watching sea turtles swimming close to me as they came up for air. 🐢 magical

A fabulous day out. We all had a lot of fun and Gato was an excellent guide. He was very entertaining, informative and ensured everyone had a great time and felt confident in the activities. The driver also worked hard and ensured we all got around safely and smoothly. We really enjoyed the variety of activities. Tulum was hot and being able to cool down in the beautiful cenote and sea afterwards was perfect. Late lunch on the beach was a relaxing end to the day. We used Cancun Adventures for several excursions during our holiday and found it a great way to explore and learn more about beautiful Mexico. All the guides were outstanding. Can highly recommend. Jesus Salas, our tour guide provided an abundance of information wherever we went. He kept us on schedule without making us feel rushed. Also, when needed, he provided individual attention.

It was amazing I had so much fun!

Gato was amazing! He made us feel so comfortable and safe. We took our 13 yr old daughter and 9 yr old son for their first snorkeling experience and they loved it! The walk around Tulum was very hot but very interesting. Be sure to bring a refillable water bottle, towel, and change of clothes.

The trip was amazing. Gato our guide was awesome. He was funny and informative. The ruins were amazing to see. The cenote was a very neat experience. Swimming with the turtles was unforgettable. We seen 3 along with rays and other sea life. Then the beach lunch was delicious and had great views.

We had a great trip out. Our guide Lalo and driver George were the absolute best. Lalo was extremely knowledgeable about the Mayan culture and kept us all safe whilst on the various trips. I have only one complaint. I paid for the photo package at the Cenote. I was duped into buying the full package for $180 and was told that someone would be taking pictures of us at the snorkelling and beach club. This was very rushed and only 2 or 3 photos were taken. I have not received any photos despite being told that they would arrive the same evening or following morning. My email address was clear on the form. The payment has been taken from my card and I have still not received any photos. I have initiated a charge back to my credit card. This is not acceptable.

The Tulum, Turtles, and Cenote excursion was a fantastic side getaway from our Riviera Maya resort stay led by our guide, Super Mario (aka Gato)! He explained things well, was extremely knowledgeable and funny, took super good care to ensure the safety of a nervous child in the cenote, and provided the best instructions I’ve ever had for snorkeling making it a great experience. 5 Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a great adventure start to finish. Mario (Gato) and Jose took care of us from pickup to drop off and everywhere in between. Tulum was hot 🥵 but fascinating and the cenote was so refreshing afterwards and equally fascinating! Swimming with the turtles was also a rare treat. Also I recommend the ceviche and hibiscus tea at the restaurant afterwards, super tasty. Very nice excursion.

This tour was such a great way to kick off our first full day in Tulum. Our guide was great; Gato brought in humor to keep us laughing and was also very accommodating of those who needed different support (e.g., fears, allergens). From the archaeological site, to the cenote, to the turtle snorkel, everything went smooth and my husband and I enjoyed this immensely.

We had an incredible experience on this trip! The mini bus arrived on time and everything was well organised! We had Jorge Luis and I’m sorry I forgot the drivers name but they were both friendly, funny and always made sure we were ok, well hydrated and not hungry! We got complimentary water and snacks on the bus! The trip itself is one everyone should do! The Mayan Ruins were incredible to see! Luis gave us a tour with lots of interesting information and then we had an hour to walk around ourselves! Then we went to the cenote! Which were stunning!!!! We had a Mayan perform a ritual on us! We went into the deepest cave we were allowed in and Luis told us the history and how it all worked! (Pre warning it’s cold but you get used to it!)! The turtles were next! We saw so many turtles it was amazing to see them in their natural habitat! The day we went it was a little choppy at sea but we still managed to see them clearly and quite a few of them! (Even a baby one!) Finally we went to lunch! It was on a lovely secluded beach and the food was delicious! All in all a fantastic trip! Highly recommend!
