Amazing Full-Day World Wonder Discovery Tour – Ask for Marco! We booked the full-day private World Wonder Discovery tour from the Maya Riviera and it was truly the highlight of our trip. Our guide, Marco De León, made the entire experience exceptional. Marco picked us up in a very comfortable vehicle and guided us through Chichén Itzá with an informative, engaging, and easy-to-follow tour. His knowledge of the architecture, history, and ruins added so much depth—we learned a tonne and never felt rushed. Afterward, we headed to Valladolid for lunch at a beautiful restaurant with a peaceful courtyard. The food was incredible—easily one of the best meals of our vacation. On the way back, Marco brought us to a secluded cenote, and walking down into the water felt like stepping into another world. Quiet, serene, and unforgettable. One of the best tours we have ever done. Our guide Allejo??( he was an anthropoligist) was a wealth of knowledge. He shared a great deal about the site as well as about Mexico in general. My wife isn't a history buff, but she was very happy with how the day went. Her thoughts were that it didn't feel like a lecture, but more like a chat with friends. A small tour(8) made it seem very private and personal. The lunch in Valladolid was REALLY good. We wish we could have spent more time exploring this city. The driver took the van into places we never would have attempted. It is a long day coming from Tulum, but it didn't feel like we were wasting any time.

Do yourself a favor and book this tour. I took my wife to Playa del Carmen for a kid-free Thanksgiving/late honeymoon. We wanted to see Chichen Itxa but were on the fence about whether to do a private tour or not. I read reviews and found MKT on Reddit, and thank goodness I did. Worth every penny. Communication was smooth and on time from the beginning. Any questions and communications I had were answered within 24 hours. Our guide, Marco, was incredibly knowledgeable and really made the whole day wonderful. The cenote was amazing, the lunch restaurant in Valloladid was perfect. As my wife said, “dia perfecta.” Highly recommend.

We had an amazing day with Alonso! We booked the private tour for our family of 6. The van was nice, comfortable, and roomy for everyone to stretch out for such a long day. Alonso was so accommodating and tailored the tour at the ruin to the needs of our young children. The restaurant was delicious! And the cenote was absolutely beautiful - we had it all to ourselves for sometime. Alonso's tour was educational and fun. I highly recommend booking this tour!!

Booked a full day guided tour for World Wonder Discovery. Picked myself and my partner up directly at our hotel at the communicated time. Clear communication via WhatsApp and email leading up to excursion day. Staff is very friendly and smooth ride. The time allotted at each place is perfect and just enough time to enjoy and not feel rushed. The cenote was our favorite part. Food was delicious. Leire was our tour guide and Arthur was our driver excellent service from both. Would highly recommend!

Carlos and Roberto were fabulous guides! The history of Chichen Itza is fascinating and Carlos was great at pointing out all the things. Lunch was DELICIOUS, but the highlight was the Cenote. Breathtaking! This was WELL worth the money - well done!

The tour itself was good. However, communication before the tour was an absolute headache. Super slow response and seems like they don't communicate with each other.

Our family had an amazing day on the tour. From pickup to drop off, our guide Nico handled all the details. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history which really helped enhance the experience. Would not have learned as much or noticed as many of the details of the sites without his expertise. The lunch in Valladolid was one of our favorites of our trip. And the cenote was beautiful. Nico even helped us get some Instagram worthy photos that we would not have gotten otherwise. The tour was very efficient and well planned time wise as well. No waiting in lines for tickets, lunch (delicious) was pre-arranged and served right when we arrived. One of the highlights of our visit to Tulum.

We had a fantastic time at the tour to Chichen Itza, Valladolid and the cenote! The price for this tour was more expensive than most tours available but was well worth it! All entry tickets were included, as well as delicious breakfast snacks and a Yucatan traditional lunch. Our guide Alejo was great, very knowledgeable and talked in-depth about the history of the site and the area. Overall, top quality tour, super comfortable car and smooth drive, entertained for the full day and visited a very beautiful cenote at the end which we had almost to ourselves! This was a wonderful experience! Since our tour guide Cesar was a history and anthropology student, he was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the history behind each attraction. He prioritized our time for each attraction based on the group's interest. Overall, I enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it to those who want to explore and understand the historical context behind these attractions.

We wanted to see the Equinox during the tour. Therefore, we did Valladolid first, then the Cenote and then Chichen Itza. Right from first contact booking the tour with Susana, this day trip was first class. Communication prior to the tour was clear and efficient. Collection from outside our resort was punctual. Our hosts for the small group tour (our family of four and two other couples) were Carlos and Arturo. Arturo safely navigated us to and from the key sites (including through an impromptu downpour as we were leaving Chichen Itza) and ensured we had plenty of water. Carlos enthusiastically provided us with all sorts of local, historical and factual information as well as guiding us around the key sites and answering all the questions we had in a friendly and informative way. The tour itself was well timed, ensuring we got to the key sites ahead of the vast majority of tourists, resulting in us getting to the best locations whilst they were still quiet. Chichen Itza is a stunning location, and rightly commands its position as one of the ‘new’ seven wonders of the world, but to appreciate it fully, it requires a guide who really knows the details and can point out intricacies that would otherwise be missed. Carlos added this detail and significantly added to the enjoyment of the visit. Our subsequent visit, and lunch at a wonderful restaurant, in Valladolid was equally enjoyable with key sites of interest suggested for us to explore at our leisure. The final stop at an out-of-town (and quiet) cenote was the perfect conclusion to the tour. A magical, peaceful location with stunning cool, clear water and partially open aspect allowing views of the sky (and rain) whilst swimming in crystal clear water. The added diving platforms added an air of excitement for those requiring a final adrenaline rush. All in all a perfect tour and thoroughly recommended.

We had Marco as our tour guide who was fantastic! He gave us so much information and was so friendly and accommodating as we were a group of 10 plus a 2 year old and he was so helpful and patient. Eddie was great and transport was fantastic and air conditioned! He gave us lots of supply of cold water which was amazing as it was so hot. We had a very formative tour of Chichen Itza, cenotes & the town and the lunch was fantastic! 3 courses of lovely Mexican food in town and then we explored the town. I would 100% recommend and book again. Thank you!

My husband and I had an amazing time on this tour! We started at Chichén Itzá and spent about an hour and a half at the site. Since it was a private tour with a small group, we got to ask all the questions we wanted and even had some free time left over after the tour to wander around on our own. My favorite part was seeing the ball court and testing its acoustics! After Chichén Itzá, we headed to a beautiful restaurant in Valladolid for lunch. I recommend the pollo pibil! We also had some time left over after lunch to walk around before heading to the cenote. The cenote was incredible! It was almost fully covered with the exception of some small openings at the top. The water was clear in the shallower areas and deep blue in the deeper areas. There is a ledge you can dive from if you’re feeling brave enough! There are also lockers, bathrooms, changing rooms, and showers on site (showers are mandatory before entering the cenote to preserve the integrity of the fresh water). Our tour guide and driver, Alondra Lopez and Oscar were awesome! Alondra is so friendly and knowledgeable! Her excitement and love of the region’s culture and history truly makes all the difference during the tour. They communicated the travel plans and expectations clearly and got us where we were going safely. I definitely recommend you request them if you are considering this tour!!

A great experience that exceeded my expectations. The tour guide Lily delivered a memorable, educational, entertaining personal and all around magical experience. I consider it one of the best days of my life! I found them on AirBNB Experiences in Tulum and so glad I did.

Amazing. If you haven't seen Chichen Itza in person you really need to. The whole city has a grandeur that is difficult to put into words. The cenote is cave like and is almost a religious experience. Lunch was great as well. Thanks to Iber our wonderful guide. Great driver and guide.

Highly recommend this tour for anyone who appreciates history and culture. It was great to learn more about the Mayan heritage, explore the city of Villadoid (think candy color houses) and have a refreshing dip in an Instagram worthy cenote. Paloma was a fantastic guide - she taught us so much and was very considerate and caring. She even organized a small cake after learning it had been my birthday! We ended the day with a beautiful guided meditation by her - an extra that I didn’t expect but that concluded the day on such a high note. Thank you also to our driver Hector, who ensured we got everywhere safely AND quickly.

Fantastic tour, I really enjoyed the day and Sky our guide was the best. She was super fun, knowledgeable and really felt the passion for her tour. The Chichen Tour was breathtaking and then we enjoyed a delicious lunch in Valladolid. Cenote trip was also magical and would highly recommend this tour package. We did the tour today and it was absolutely amazing. We couldn’t recommend it enough. Iber, our Tourguide, was unbelievably friendly and fluent in English. On the way to chichen itza he explained a lot of things about Mexico and typical birds, fauna and flora. He was very funny too. At chichen itza he knew everything we asked for and he prepared a lot of interesting facts about it. We had also some free time to buy souvenirs. After that we went to Valladolid and had very good lunch and some free time there too. Iber explained a lot there aswell. Then we went to the Cenote, it was absolutely breathtaking- the prettiest cenote we‘ve ever been. We had about 1 hour there to swim and take pictures and after that we drove back to the hotels. Overall it was the best trip of our vacation and I gotta say it really was made because of our guide Iber. Such a nice and lovely man. Thank you very much.

Due to unexpected protests in Chichen Itza, we were traveling with Said to Tulum and Coba. The team organizing the tour was accommodating and quick in amending the trip to our suggestions after early in the morning we found out that Chichen Itza was closed. A well-organized team of people works for this tour operator, that was clearly demonstrated. Said was well-spoken, friendly, and eager to answer all the questions we asked. The only thing I wish he has done was to inform me how much the book I wanted to buy about Maya would cost me. I spent a fortune on a book that was not worth it. A book with beautiful pictures and poor English translation with little information, for 1000 Mexican dollars, an equivalent of 2-3 books on a similar topic in any English book store.

This was the best decision ever. We chose the private option since we wanted to have our own time, and the guide gave us exactly what we want. No rush, personalized explanation, time to make questions and interact with him. This was one of the advantages of having a private tour. The food was delicious and many options to choose. The cenote was marvelous and not crowded as many other cenotes that are famous on internet. The guide was so passionate about sharing his knowledge about Mayan Culture. Highly recommended!!!

This tour was fantastic, mexico lan tours was great with communication leading up to the tour, they worked with all our needs including allergies and a tight schedule. The tour itself was very informative, our tour guide Joseline was extremely knowledgeable of Chichen Itza and gave us great information along the tour. The restaurant they took us to was outstanding as well and the cenote was otherworldly. I would highly recommend both Mexico Lan tours as well as Joseline to anyone.

The tour through Chichen Itza was so interesting, he had a laser pointer that he used to show us certain details throughout the site! Lunch at Valladolid was delicious! It was nice having a table already reserved for us. And the Cenote! Amazing! I loved going to a Cenote off the beaten track- there was only one other group while we were there!

Hands down, the best experience we could have had. Said was an incredible tour guide. He was full of knowledge and fun facts. Doing the private tour was such a good choice because it felt so much more personal. Being able to ask questions one on one about the history and culture, we learned so much! The restaurant was delicious and beautiful! It was great having the table reserved for us already. And last but not least the cenote was amazing! I loved that we went to a lesser known cenote so there weren’t very many people with us! Said made sure we got the perfect photos at both chichen itza and the cenote! Wish we could take every excursion with him!

Love love LOVED our tour with Luigi who was very informative and super fun to tour with! This was one of three tours we did with Mexico Kan tours and all of them were FANTASTIC! We were so lucky to have Luigi twice - one for the Wonder World Discovery and the other for Sian Ka'an Adventure. We also did Mayan Inland Expedition with Johnny who was also wonderful and informative to tour with! We loved the private cenotes as well as just being able to immerse in the culture. Can't recommend Mexico Kan tours enough!

Absolute first class. I was NOT expecting such a great day. Johnny B. was our guide. Funny, knowledgeable, interesting and he “read” the group really well and guided us well. The food was MUCH better than expected. I expected tacos and whatnot and instead they took us to a wonderful restaurant in an amazing old Spanish style courtyard with fans and fountains and beautiful plants and flowers….. and GREAT food (practically ready for us when we arrived because they call ahead to order!) Then they took us to a Cenote that was not used by other tours….. it was absolutely magical…. Underground with sun streaming through holes in the roof…. Soooooo refreshing after a warm day on the ruins….. I would recommend this tour to anyone. Exceeded my expectations. And Mexico Kan Tours….. if you are listening….. make sure that you give Johnny a raise!! Do whatever you have to to hold on to him. Everyone in the group really loved having him as our guide.

This day was full of beautiful discoveries and the organization was as planned. We would have liked to discover a little more Valladolid. On the other hand going to a Cenote less known than the others was a nice surprise as well as the meal A huge thank you to Santiago our guide who took the time to explain the history of the various peoples, the ruins, the Yucatan and the Cenotes. On the way he played us guitar and with the driver they sang us songs, it was a very nice gift.
