Private Tour - Sian Ka´an Adventure

Just like to say how great our tour with Mexicakantours was and Kenia, and Jess for making the whole day just great.

The tour was disappointing. The weather was poor so we missed seeing any aquatic animals. The guide then informed us the conditions were too bad for snorkelling. The meals were cold and the full-day activity was shortened to 3pm instead of 7pm. We’d have appreciated a reschedule or refund given the weather was unsuitable.

Wow! Such an amazing experience. From the boat ride through the lagoons to floating through the mangroves, to our wonderful guides (Paloma, Macarena, Arterò, and Axel) it was a memorable experience.

We saw a manatee, crocodile, iguanas, dolphins, birds, fishes and a turtle! Our tour included lots of boating and some swimming.

Great tour. Our guide (Alonso) was very knowledgeable of the area ,and could converse in many languages. The float down the river and scenery was incredible .

Macarena was an amazing tour guide. She made the entire experience fun by sharing her knowledge and sense of humour. We saw dolphins, fish, stingrays, a shark, birds and so much more. It is evident that Macarena loves nature and water from our time with her on this tour of Sian Kaan.

Beautiful scenery overall. Guides were great. We snorkeled on the trip and the coral is, unfortunately, completely dead. Nothing to see there. Highly recommend skipping that part.

We had the the best adventure with Macarena and Cristina, both were incredibly knowledgable about the animals and super enthusiastic and respectful. Our boat driver Alex was brilliant too! We were lucky enough to see all the animals we were told about, best trip we booked on our 7 day stay here! Would recommend.

An amazing visit to this stunning biosphere. Pablo did an ace job of describing the significance of the the different ecosystems and their relationships. I was especially impressed with the sight of a cenote bubbling up and several manatees with 2 calves right around our boat, such a privilige to have this luck. Well done Pablo and Captain.

It was amazing, srnorkel and the beach was the best. Food its ok, but company is grate.gratis. I recommend it for sure.

We did the tour with Nikita and Macarena, they were both so nice and great at explaining us the history of Sian ka’an, showing us amazing animals and plants. They are both super dynamic and smiling the whole day. We learned a lot thanks to her ! Our captain Gaspar was the best and showed us everything we wanted to see, it super fun to be on his boat. It was a wonderful experience! We discovered different types of landscapes and animals which highlighted the incredible biodiversity of Mexico ranked in top 5 in the world. We learned many things thanks to our guides that made us live an unforgettable experience in Sian Ka’an, “the gates of heaven”, and opened even more our environmental conscience. I highly recommend this tour if you want to discover a UNESCO World heritage site and see the best of Mexican natural heritage in Yucatan peninsula.

The private tour was very well organized and guided by Ursula ! The lunch at the beach with fresh grilled fish was a 'bounty' moment !!

We had an amazing time on our tour today! Felipe was our guide and he was absolutely amazing! He was so knowledgeable about the wildlife and took his time with us! We were able to see manatees, crocodiles, stingrays, lots of birds, sea turtles and a lot of fish! Due to the weather we were unable to make it to the reef, but the accommodated is by taking us to a cenote and it was extremely relaxing after being on the ocean all day! Lunch was amazing at Rojo Gomez, a small fishing village off the peninsula. Everyone was extremely welcoming and nothing felt like a tourist trap. This is definitely the way to take a private to see the ocean and jungle!

This was, by far, the BEST thing we did it Tulum and that includes the Mayan Ruins and cenotes. Our guide, Karen, was super personable and outgoing and had tons of knowledge that made the trip extra interesting. Her enthusiasm for wildlife was contagious throughout. We saw crocodiles, a pod of dolphins, tons of turtles, super cool birds, and did some breathtaking snorkeling. Although it rained during our trip, that didn’t make it any less enjoyable. The Captain provided raincoats and maneuvered us through the light downfall with ease. The food in Puenta Allen was some of the best I’ve ever had which is so impressive when you know more about the background of this fishing community. Go on this trip with this company! I saw other companies out there in the rain with their customers getting wet as we were staying dry in our ponchos. Some of the best wildlife spots we were the only tour out there. This is an absolute must and worth every cent!

Me and my wife, daughter and her friend went on the archeological tour, the walk through the jungle and observation tower, and finally the river/canal float. This was by far the highlight of our trip to Tulum. Our guide was Cesar- a true scholar, currently working towards degrees in History, Anthropology and German literature. We couldn't have asked for a more enlightening, delightful guide than Cesar. A wonderful, inspiring day, and the burritos were delicious!

We booked a private tour of Sian Ka'an with Luigi and had such an incredible time exploring the biosphere. It was truly a gorgeous experience filled with wildlife (manatees, crocodiles, fish, and birds) and a must-see if visiting Tulum. Although it was too windy and choppy to snorkel in the ocean reef after our biosphere tour, Luigi offered alternative activities for us to chose from which incredibly thoughtful. Cosme, our captain, was also so great and we had an amazing lunch at his property after our tour. Overall, I would highly recommend booking a tour through Mexico Kan Tours while in Tulum!

A great day of private discovery of Sian Ka’an with Léa, fabulous guide who speaks perfect French. Lots of culture on biodiversity, with qualitative explanations and great listening to children! It was a great day! Jessica and Iber were the best guides imaginable! Everything was as described and we saw all the animals too! While snorkeling we even saw a Noseshark! Lunch was very delicious, you could choose a dish in the morning! It was a wonderful day in nature!

We took a trip from Tulum to Sian Kaan with Mexikokantours. Our guides were Ursula and Oscar. We can absolutely recommend both guides...they accompany the tour with a passion for nature, perfectly organized...from the pick-up at the hotel to the end of the tour, everything was great 👍 Ursula speaks perfect German, Spanish, English, Portuguese and French. She explained everything to us about the nature reserve and we also received a lot of information about Yucatán including recommendations for other trips. If you love nature, this trip is perfect for you. We saw a lot of animals and Punta Allen is also a very special place. Lunch was delicious.

The day was impressive, we started by seeing animals from the boat (manatees, dolphins, turtles, birds, fish...), it was a great time. The guide Macarena was really passionate and fascinating, we learned lots of information about the Sian Kaan biosphere, especially about the animals. We were able to go snorkelling to see more of the seabed. We were served snacks and the included lunch was excellent. We definitely recommend this excursion. Finally, there was no waste, no plastics and the animals were respected in their living space throughout our day.

He knew how to combine history, local stories and relaxed conversation. What we liked most was letting ourselves be carried away by the current, floating through the channel. We recommend it 100%

Great family experience with Nikita and Christine! Nikita shares her joy and her knowledge of the mangrove both on land and underwater. What an emotion to be immersed for at least a day in this fragile environment, hoping to have respected it as best as possible, but our guides were as attentive as one can be on this subject. Thanks to Gaspard for the drifts, we had a good laugh too! The game is worth it: we will never see crocodiles again, manatees, open sea cenotes where they drink, sea turtles. Thank you again

Incredible day at Sian Ka'an Park with our guide Nikita who was able to share with us his passion for animals and his sustainable vision of nature. A very beautiful experience with special moments in a natural swimming pool as far as the eye can see, a group of 13 dolphins, snorkeling with turtles and many others. Special mention for Nikita and her sidekick Jessica for their good humor and smile throughout the day which helped to create a wonderful atmosphere in the group! Thanks also to Gaspar, nuestro Capitan, el mejor de la Laguna and Axel, the always attentive driver. To do without hesitation, you will not be disappointed!

Fantastic tour and really helpful and knowledgeable guides: Lea and Marco! The tour is for small groups and this allows for greater quality and attention. We saw dolphins and snorkelled at the coral reef, thanks to the fantastic weather. Only advice: more time in Punta Allen, perhaps explaining a bit of the history of the place; we limited ourselves to having lunch there.

Everything was excellent, Everk Axel very careful, guides Maca and Nikita super friendly, fun, informed and give excellent Service, Captains Gaspar and Jaime made sure that we had an unforgettable experience looking for different animals to be able to observe them closely. I would definitely hire them again, the experience was wonderful.

We did the Sian Ka’an Adventure tour at Mexico Kan Tours. Hugely enjoyed this tour which was accompanied by Nikita and as driver Jesus. She explained everything to us with passion. Everything we did and saw was beyond expectations. The whole accompaniment of the tour was top notch and very safe! Both Nikita and our captains Gaspar and Abraham made sure we had a fantastic day! We had the chance to see several species (manatees, crocodiles, birds, dolphins, turtles ..) during our tour, the two guides were listening, smiling and provided us with a lot of necessary information about the nature reserve. The excursion takes place during the day and the delicious meal takes place in a charming village. We were able to snorkel guided by a local professional and we swam in a natural pool, no other tourist boat(s) next to us, we were alone - the dream!
