This tour was amazing!! Lea was an incredible tour guide. We enjoyed the ruins, lunch at Manuel’s, but the best was jumping in the cenote!
What a beautiful full day of discovery! Cesar our guide is knowledgeable and he speaks good English. He explained everything in do many details! He is passionate about what he does and he made our day exceptionally good! Small group: just 8 of us and the whole experience was beautiful, including swimming in a very good cenote! Axel, the driver is a star too! Driving safely and keeping our belongings on the van safe. Thanks guys!!!!!! 💖🌟
We had an amazing unique informative day Thanks to our guide Alphonso, we learned all about Coba, saw wild monkeys. This tour had a relaxed environment which included visits to smaller communities who were so hospitable, making you feel truly welcomed.
Our guide, Iber, was amazing! we all got such an incredible and jam packed experience! It was a buffet of all the things you can do in tulum! Cenotes, ruins, hiking, biking, zip line, canoeing, and an authentic meal! Plus the monkeys!! Thanks so much Iber!
We did the Mayan Inland Tour in Tulum with Liliana, and it was one of the most fulfilling experiences we’ve had on a trip. In just one day, we were able to experience so many different places, each one feeling unique and complete in its own way. What made it truly special was how seamlessly it combined everything we love—nature, animals, culture, and adventure. From the start our tour leader, Liliana, set the tone with her warm spirit, positive energy, and deep knowledge. She was incredibly courteous and made the day not just educational but also genuinely fun. We loved spending time with her and the rest of the group. One of the highlights for us was visiting a Mayan family who generously shared a delicious meal with us—something we deeply appreciated. The water activities and zipline were exciting and well-organized, but what stood out most was that there was no pressure to participate in anything you weren’t comfortable with. Everyone could engage in their own way and still feel included. The tour offered something for all ages, and whether we were learning about Mayan traditions, walking through beautiful jungle paths, or simply enjoying the peace of being surrounded by nature, it felt meaningful and enriching throughout. If you’re looking for a day in Tulum that’s adventurous, educational, and soulful, this tour is it.
We can really recommend ! The places we visited was great, we visited many places in one day without feeling in a hurry… our guide Lili was sweet, dedicated, informative, well prepared and so nice to be around. Lili and Roberto was a good team.
Iber was our guide and was outstanding- punctual, great conversational English, knowledgeable, safe, and a true professional. We are very experienced travelers and this expedition was great because it gave us unique experiences we’ve never had in our lives. If you book this trip (and you should) ask for Iber!
Great hidden gems on this tour...we spotted a crocodile with our guide Alonso's help. Enjoyed the Mayan cultural experience. Seeing spider and howler monkeys a highlight! We learned about both ancient and modern Mexican society. A great day!
Marco was an excellent tour guide who was able to meet everyone’s expectations. This tour to Coba was a nice combination of history, culture and activity and was a lot of fun!!!
Excellent experience with friendly people, beautiful scenery/animals, and a nice home-cooked meal. Carlos did an excellent job!
It was a fantastic tour with plenty of activities . Iber was a fantastic guide very knowledgeable and a lot of fun . Our driver was excellent and ‘Ricky chicken’ was a highlight. Highly recommend
It was simply amazing. Probably the best tour I did in Mexico. We were so lucky to have Carlos as a guide, he made us enjoy all the activities.
Our Driver (Adan) and Guide (Felipe) were FABULOUS. Felipe ensured that we (literally) walked the extra mile so that our Son could see some monkeys! Felipe was super smart and interacted great with Our Boys (aged 11 and 14). Trust these Guys with Your Family-I am glad that I did.
In Playa del Carmen from Alberta Canada. We did the tour with Salvador and I loved it. Definitely a highlight of our Mexico trip. I do not speak any Spanish and I'd highly recommend the tour to any English speaking person. Salvador had perfect English, was friendly and happy to answer any questions we had!
Our guide Salvador and driver Victor were amazing. Salvador was very informative and clearly knew the area and history well. The trip was very full, you get a lot of value. We visited Coba and rode bikes through the ruins, then went to Punta Laguna and saw spider monkeys, ziplined and rowed canyons, next was a visit to a cenote, then a meal and tour of an animal rehabilitation center for wild animals. It was a great trip!
Came back of this tour knowing more about the Mayans, trying their food, getting to know their communities and culture. The Cenote this tour included felt very private! It was basically just me and my siblings in the cenote with our guide, Marco, who even swam (and dove) with us. He was fun to be with — like a local friend taking us around town. I could tell a lot of the Mayan locals really liked him too. Kudos to our driver carlos too who was very friendly and helpful all throughout!
If you want the best of the Yucatán Peninsula a tour with Paloma is a must!! She was so informative and friendly to our group. This was probably one of the best experiences I have had in my life. We are hoping to book with Paloma again soon
This was one of the best experiences we’ve had on a holiday. To start with, our tour guide Marco and our driver Samuel were friendly, informative and overall excellent hosts. All of the activities included were everything we hoped for and a great way to explore the beauty of Mexico and the Mayan history. Our highlight was the lunch at Nojoch Keej, with its beautiful surroundings, warming family and tasty food. We would highly recommend México Kan Tours, specifically with Marco and Samuel! Lucy & Nick (England, UK)
We had a lot of fun, Marcos is very good tour guide . we were able to see the spider monkeys . Everything that was promise we did in a good safety manner.
The tour was absolutely amazing. The content is perfect if you are a "normal" fit person. Lots of activities but not too much that we didn't have time to breath. Seeing all the local spots, the mayan families that work hard to preserve nature, was amazing. Observing the monkeys from a distance was exciting. Our guide, Lily, was very kind and fun, she explained everything well and answered all our questions. I also had a leg injury, I could do all of the activities but I had to be very careful where I stepped. She kept checking in with me and supporting me on the uneven paths. Overall: book this, it's authentic and not too touristy.
This was an excellent tour! Even better than I expected. Paloma was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable about the Coba ruins and Mayan history. I enjoyed every part of this trip. Highly recommended!
We had such a great day touring the ruins by bike, hiking , zip lining and a canoe ride. Alondra, our tour guide was so knowledgeable and I learned so much about he rich Mayan culture and had a great time along the way. What a great tour to experience some of what Tulum has to offer all in one day. Thanks Alondra for taking such good care of our family.
I highly recommend this company. I did Coba and Punta Laguna. It was a very good trip with Luigi, our guide, which was very knowledgeable. The tour included several activities and a visit to a Mayan community and a family.
Best Tour! Highly recommend to book with Mexico Kan Tours. Our guide Carlos has been gone off and beyond to show and tell us the history of Mayan culture. It was very comfortable going around, very safe and Carlos was prepared for any scenario (water, snacks, ..). Searching for monkeys in the jungle, biking round Coba Ruins, having fantastic food with the most lovely Mayan family and swimming in the Cenotes has been the highlight of the trip. Thank you!
The tour really offered something for everyone’s taste and my friend and I loved every second of it! It was a packed day with lots of different activities and various experiences that we got to enjoy together with our attentive and fun guide Felipe. Starting with biking around the area of Coba and discovering the Mayan ruins we learned a lot about the history and culture of this highly intelligent civilization. Before entering the jungle we participated in a traditional Mayan ceremony which was a really mystic and interesting experience. After we asked the gods for their goodwill we walked through the jungle looking for monkeys (we saw a whole family) followed by a zipline ride with breathtaking views over the beautiful lagoon. Once we got solid ground under our feet again, we went on the water and canoed to the other side of Punta Laguna. Then we stopped at a cenote where we jumped in the cristal clear water before visiting a Mayan family and their living place where they also keep and care for rescued animals. They were really friendly people and showed us around and talked about their way of living in compliance with the nature around them. It was really interesting! The authentic Mexican food prepared by the family was delicious and we even got to form and cook some tortillas ourselves. We also got to enjoy some healthy and delicious homemade granola bars on the car rides between the different tour stops and filled up our water bottles with fresh and cold water from the airconditioned van. I highly recommend taking a tour with Mexico Kan Tours as it is the best way to discover one of the most beautiful regions of Mexico in a unique, eco-conscious and adventurous but convenient way. This one was the second tour my friend and I did with them and we were equally amazed. (The first one was „The Cenote Adventure“, also highly recommended!) Thank you very much to our wonderful guide and Mexico Kan Tours!
A great experience on a private tour, the staff were very kind and friendly, great connoisseurs of the Mayan culture, Cobá amazing but the homemade lunch with the family spectacular, very recomendable!
Our guide, Iber, picked us up promptly at our hotel and was very friendly, personable and knowledgable. You can tell that he truly enjoys his job, cares about the environment, and is dedicated to ensuring that guests get what they came for.
César took us on wonderful tour throughout the jungle to visit the ancient Mayan ruins. We learned a lot about the history and architecture as wel some Mayan words. After that we swam in the cenote, attended a Mayan ceremony and had some adventure with a zip-line and canoe ride.
I loved this expedition ! It is a very complete tour where there’s a bit of everything : ruins, cenote, canöe, lunch in a Mayan family, walk in the jungle, etc. Everything was super well organized, the only thing you have to do is to enjoy your day ! I recommend it 100%. Thanks Mexico Kan Tour !
we did a 6-day tour with this company led by their birding expert, Miguel Amar. one of the best tours we've ever done and a very special experience. Miguel is a licensed historical guide and an expert birder, so while we were looking for birds at ruins we got lots of historical information about the Mayan lifestyle and history. FYI, birding is really hiking with binoculars, so don't be afraid to try and sign up for at least a day of birding with Miguel. the staff at MexicKanTours was also excellent and were all very courteous and bilingual.
Our primary objective was birdwatching, but Miguel (guide) enriched that excellent experience with in-depth information about the geography, topography, culture and history - a holistic day of the Mayan territory here in Tulum and surrounds. Our day was aided by a second guide, Claudio, with an incredible eye for the birds and a totally infectious enthusiasm for everyone he/we spotted. Driver, Sergio, shepherded us safely and carefully over a wide variety to roads and trails of varying conditions 0 a very pleasant presence. This was definitely the highlight of our time in Tulum.
This was one of my most memorable experience here in tulum and I would actually do this again. There was a little bit of everything here as far as activity, culture and sightseeing. The tour guide Niko was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable about the area, culture and history. He has Excellent customer service skills and well equipped with everything that I needed to accommodate me on the tour. My favorite part was the biking and the Mayan family lunch. I have learned so much just on this one trip.
The tour and especially our tour guide, Said, surpassed all expectations. We had an amazing time. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and provided fun information the whole day. He was respectful and courteous to us, and everyone we interacted with. He drove safely and the car was clean. He acted as if he was genuinely interested in every we word we said. His tour of Coba seemed effortless and well thought out. We enjoyed Punta Laguna, saw many monkeys. I was nervous about canoeing, so Said paddled for me. I really appreciated the attention he paid to my partner and me. He really was adaptable and flexible for anything we wanted to do. I bought a bag that was hand embroidered by Mayan people that live near Punta Laguna that feels more special than your average printed souvenir bag. He took us to a wonderful place for a Mayan lunch. I mentioned to Said that I love gardening as a hobby, so Said talked to me about plants we saw throughout the tour. I don't know if talking about plants was supposed to be part of the tour, but I think Said adapted and added it in since I mentioned it. I randomly told Said that I love hummingbirds, so he told me about the ancient Mayans beliefs about hummingbirds. and then he found one in the wild to point out to me. It was a very happy moment for me. I regret not giving him a bigger tip. I don't know if Mexico Kan Tours allows this, but I would even consider requesting Said by name because it doesn't matter which tour you take with him, he will figure out what you like and make you happy. That was my experience. Thank you to Mexico Kan Tours and Said. I highly recommend this tour.
Wow the trip was amazing! Thank you Juan Carlos for making this incredible experience for me and my friends. I learnt so much about Mayan culture and really enjoyed visiting Mayan ruins And family and having lunch with them. I will be back again for another trip:)
Everything is perfect. Recommended for anyone who wants to have a true experience in Mexico. Coba + Punta Laguna tour is top-notch. Thank you for everything
Excellent day with our guide Alonso . Mixture of cultural nature and sport. Alonso had to juggle French and English because our group was mixed but never made shortcuts. He answered all our questions. He commented on the visits of the day but he also gave information about Mexico in general. Attention to all. Perfect. Very good day and finally a nice cenote where we were few. Thank you.
Thank you Luiggi for your patience, for the historical and cultural data and for the fun.
The experience was amazing, I loved it! Being able to see the spider monkeys and the howler monkeys in person was really nice. The bike ride was super fun and the water of the cenote very rich, very refreshing after the tour.👍🏻Our guide, Cuckoo, was excellent: always attentive, very prepared and explained in great detail the history and what happened in Cobá. It certainly made the experience even more special. It was an excellent day that I will remember very fondly🫶🏻😽
Tour really recommended. Honorable mention to Paloma, our guide: prepared, competent, helpful, pleasant. We were particularly lucky because we were lucky enough to meet dozens of spider monkeys at a very close distance. An incredible sight.
Very positive, I acquired "Mayan Inland Tour" in Mexicokantours and Cesar was the designated guide; a very competent Pro of the first order in addition to bilingual, there was a group that spoke only English, and with a great sense of humor. I gladly recommend this tourist agency and especially Cesar a great guide.
We did the Maya Inland Expedition tour with guide Paloma and Artero. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip! Paloma is a skilled and fine guide with a lot of knowledge about Maya history. The many activities during this trip (Coba, monkey spotting in the jungle, zipline, kayak, cenote) makes this trip highly recommended!
We loved our experience with Palama and Ernesto. They gave us a lot of relevant information and accompanied us throughout the day. Despite the rain, the day was filled with good times. The meal and the visit with Manuel as well as the observation of monkeys among the Mayans were our favorites. We highly recommend this activity to anyone who wants an immersive day in the Tulum area.
What a cool tour!!! I loved it, it is very fun to explore the ruins of Cobá by bike. Punta Laguna was magical, since we arrived we were fortunate enough to see spider monkeys, later we even saw howler monkeys and the lagoon is magnificent! When we went for lunch with the Mayan family, it was wonderful that it was also a UMA and they are dedicated to protecting and rehabilitating wildlife. They have a super nice project called Nojoch Keej (look it up online). Then we went to a spectacular cenote, also from a Mayan community :) And Alberto our driver and Paloma our guide were incredible!! Thank you very much for the experience!!!
We spent a wonderful week in the Yucatan with a Mexican friend thanks to Mexi Khan Tours. The email exchanges in advance with Támara were very professional and warm. She offered us an incredible tailor-made service, specifically arranging for the tour driver to pick us up from the Cancun airport and take us upon arrival directly to an absolutely fantastic hotel, both close to the airport and set back in an environment of lush vegetation. She made sure to end the tour near Holbox, our next destination. Again, the service was exceptional as we were driven to the ferry that would take us to Holbox. The week's progress exceeded all my expectations. The circuit offered so many exciting and varied proposals, far from the tourist areas, with the exception of the pyramid of Chichen Itza which was unmissable. I was happy to have opportunities to meet the people of this beautiful region. Each visit was of high quality. The accommodations were of very good to wonderful quality. Our guide Jonas, born in the Yucatan, was exceptional. He told us a lot of things in a relaxed and warm way. He had rare qualities of flexibility, listening and adaptation, all with a positive spirit at all times. My friend ultimately couldn't ride a bike. It wasn't a tragedy. She followed the bikes in the van that followed anyway. It was very hot and it was a very welcome luxury to be able to take breaks in the air-conditioned van which always had fresh water. The distances covered were of your choice and decided on a day-to-day basis depending on the conditions and preferences of the moment. What luck ! I won't say more to keep the next lucky participants a surprise. Because there was no shortage of reasons to marvel! The Yucatan is an extraordinary destination with an exciting culture and very friendly people and Mexican Tour is a rare company that embodies the eco-responsible values it advocates and which our world urgently needs. Highly recommended!
Carlos and Roberto were very attentive, it was an incredible experience, especially the approach to spider monkeys and the typical food
Me and my partner took the “Mayan Inland Expedition” activity. This activity was guided by Alonso, who was an exceptional and very kind guide. We really enjoyed this activity which was full of adventures and moments of sharing. Thank you Alonso, Thank you Mexico Kan Tours Monique&Bryan
The tour was great! Felipe takes his role as guide very seriously. We learned a lot. This was really instructive. I loved the lunch with a Mayan family as well as the tour in the jungle, we were able to see monkeys!
Beautiful discovery of one of the oldest Maya sites. Thank you to Caesar for explaining so much to us and for captivating the children. The meal at Don Manuel's casa was a magical moment!
We found ourselves so well with this agency that we carried out 3 different tours. The last was this, visiting the archaeological site of coba. Next we visited the Punta Laguna Nature Reserve to complete the tour by visiting a Mayan community and a cenote. Our guide, Luigi, has always been very helpful and competent passing on his passion. Thank you!
