They will visit Chichen Itza, one of the 7 new wonders of the world and one of the most important archaeological sites in Mexico. Accompanied by a bilingual cultural guide, they will tour its main structures, such as the Temple of Kukulkán, the Ball Game and other ceremonial spaces that showcase the astronomical, architectural and cultural legacy of the Mayan civilization.
You will enjoy a gastronomic experience in Kaua, where you will get to know part of the regional Mayan cuisine through a demonstration with local ingredients and traditional flavors of Yucatan. Afterwards, you will have time to enjoy a buffet meal in the restaurant.

Everything was great except for the stop for lunch, the dance performance, and gift shop. This stop took so much time away from the rest of the experiences. The dance felt performative and not authentic. Javier was a great guide!!

We had such a good time visiting and learning about Chichen Itza. Javier was an amazing tour guide, teaching and guiding us through the cool sites and Mayan culture. We thought it would be packed with tourists as it was a tour stop but it wasn’t. We had a really good experience and would recommend. Great value for money!
This is a fantastic bang for buck tour. Luis aka Salsa Salsa is a powerhouse of a tour guide, swapping between Spanish and English. Like watching a master spinning plates effortlessly keeping us entertained. The bus was super comfortable for the journey there and back! It was super clear where the pick up point was for us. As mentioned, Luis is a bundle of energy and has great knowledge about Chichen Itza and more. A few of our group threw questions at him and he’d answer with gusto. The cenote was beautiful. It was our first one and whilst the time was short, it was worth it. I’d recommend this tour. My partner and I came to the tour running on fumes having slept only 2 hours the night before.. but the tour kept us engaged and entertained and we learnt a lot about the Mayans!
Wonderful experience!!! Pluses: knowledge of our guide “stitch” is awesome. Value for the money…splendid!!!…we had the opportunity of visit Chichen Itzá and learned so many things about the Mayan culture thanks to our guide. We had also the opportunity of visit and swim in cenote Chichikán for a refreshing experience. Overall..a very nice experience. Down: meeting point…. Not a well organized item…. We received confirmed note about a specific meeting point and the personnel who took us were in another part of the hotel looking for us. Due to this, tour was delayed. Besides this…. Tour recommended!!!
It was great, so you see a lot and don’t need to worry about transportation. Guides are friendly and bus comfortable. We were a full tour bus of people but the group gets divided over two guides. Depending on what language you speak the group can be quite small, like 8 people, or it can be 20. Not all language gets the same info at the same time, but it is roughly similar. Of course it’s a tour and you can’t control your own time. Chichen Itza is very large and you could spend the whole day there, but going with the tour a few hours is good start. It’s a shame the grand museum is included in ticket but you don’t get to see it. The buffet lunch was very nice, tacos, rice, pasta all kinds of meat and fish. Fruits and dessert and fresh drinks (not included). They spend a lot of time at the Maya stone gift shop which could be spent elsewhere in the town or Chichen Itza. If I had a car I would do it alone but going with a tour is the second best option, and Ekinox are a great company you can trust. They are punctual and care about the work. Oh wear a hat when visiting the ruins, drink lots of water and bring water shoes for Cenote. The lunch is late in the day so bring some snacks too.

We had a wonderful full-day Chichen Itza tour with Ekinox Tours and our team made all the difference. Our driver Freddie was excellent — he kept the bus cool and comfortable, drove safely the whole way, and made sure we always had cold water. It really helped on such a long day! The guides were fantastic too. Moo brought Chichén Itzá to life with his deep Mayan background and engaging storytelling — we learned so much and it made the site feel truly special. Estrella did an excellent job explaining the local village and culture during the gastronomic lunch in Valladolid, and her passion for the experience really stood out. Chichén Itzá itself was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking, just as everyone says. The stop at Noolha Cenote was equally stunning — the swim in that crystal-clear water was the perfect refreshing highlight after exploring the ruins. Everything ran smoothly from pickup to drop-off just be prepared for a long day. MOO, ESTRELLA, and FREDDY were excellent tour guides and driver. MOO and ESTRELLA were hilarious, knowledgeable, easy to understand their very good English. They helped us understand the history and culture of the Maya in the past and in the present. FREDDY was an excellent driver. The bus was very clean, and very comfortable temperature even on an 85° humid day. Bathroom on bus was clean and so convenient. The Chichen Itza tour was fantastic, we were able to see everything and understand so much about the architecture and history. The included lunch was excellent. Hand made Mayan corn tortillas and 4 varieties of wonderful meat. Touring the Mayan co-op was very interesting. The cenote swim was very clean and nice. Several different levels of platforms to jump off, and a zip line into the water too. We were able to jump and zip line multiple times with no lines. Not crowded at all. Highly recommend this tour, this vendor, and especially MOO, ESTRELLA, and FREDDY.
Had a wonderful tour with Freddie, Moo and Estreya. Everything went smooth, all sites were well explained and the food was delicious. Highly recommend, but it does take a full day so be ready for 12 hours.
It was really good. It was an all day tour and we did a lot and visited many places.the guide was very amusing and helpful and informative. Freddy was our driver, Moo and Estrella was our guide. They are a great team and made the trip safe and super fun! They checked in with the group all the time to ensure everyone was comfortable!

Freddy was such a gentleman helping us off the bus. Chichen Itza is an amazing archaeological sight and my daughter will probably never forget swimming in the cenote. Lunch was also delicious. Even though we had rainy weather, this trip was well worth it. Fun, food, and great company. The lunch was especially delicious. Our guides, Estrella, Bison, and Santi made the whole experience enjoyable and approachable. Estrella had tons of knowledge for lots of history questions. We had a great time an would definitely recommend it. Worth the whole day.

This is a full day program but totally worth it. The Chichen Itza site is impressive. Javier was a wonderful guide. The Cenote Extremo was spectacular. We greatly enjoyed it. Valladolid is a beautiful town to spend some time at. Lunch at the Maya community was great. My only suggestion would be to shorten the time spent for potential shopping at the Maya community and leave more time (one hour instead of 30 min) for Valladolid.

We went on the Ekinox tour with mo and estrella with my family . Wife and 2 boys . Let me tell you , we had the absolute most amazing with these guys . They were incredible , they were so knowledgeable , they were funny , they clear , they were helpful in every way . My son got sick on the bus from the motion and stopped the bus , took all the time to help us take care of our boy , they helped us clean up the mess and were just so helpful . And the places we visited were great. We had an amazing day visiting Chichenitza and learned so much about the culture and history . Honestly one of the absolute best tours ive ever been on and Mo and Estrella are the top of the class and an example to follow for all tour guides . Overall this was a great tour. Moo was a great guide. The tour team worked well together. I thought lunch would be earlier, so I skipped breakfast and got pretty hungry as lunch time must be different in this culture. Also would have liked more time at the Cathedral of San Gervasio and square area as that was a really cool area. The Cenote wasn't as great as I thought it would be. But it was still a great experience overall.

The tour was very well done. We had a lot of informations about Maya history, the archeological sites and the naturalistic sites. Everything was explained both in English and Spanish. Our guide Mario was incredibly competent and funny, as well as Diego, who taught us about the current Maya traditions and culture. Thanks to our driver Luigi too.
