Be aware. They, lie and manipulate. You will spend $$$$ more than you are quoted. And the begging never stops. The caves are lovely. But, be prepared to be harassed. You are cash to them. Not people trying to enjoy a day with your family. Extremely shady business. Beware.
Basically a kids water park, very cringe and tacky
It was one of the best experiences. At the beginning we went with a group and guide for one hour and a half he took us to all 5 cenotes and then you can stay on your own. All 5 cenotes are short walk and all are different. It was one of best experiences ever . The cenotes are truly magical . The person who was taking charge of whatsap was so quick in responding and also clear i loved that and this made me book another activity .
Very clean water good , good good
Over priced; the place doesn’t provide lockers unless you pay, and it is over priced. Ridiculous!!
Great value for ~38$ per person for base package. Like most of Mexico they try to upsell you on buying extra stuff but it wasn’t super pushy. Very friendly and polite staff and our tour guide was great. He had 1996 tattooed on his neck if you see him, very friendly. We showed up at 9am when they opened and waited 15minutes for the guided tour to start (included in price of tickets) There was only 8 of us as it was the first tour of the day. Tour visits 5 cenotes, 2 underground, 3 above ground, with the 3rd large one being our favorite. (We went back after tour to swim around more) Tour lasted ~2 hours and by than it was PACKED. We saw tour groups of 30-40 people which made us realize how special our experience was. Be sure to tip your guides and bring snacks!
Amazing experience at Casa Tortuga! The cenotes were beautiful, crystal clear, and surrounded by nature. Swimming through the caves was unforgettable, and our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Everything was well organized, making the tour both fun and relaxing. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended! 😊
Extremely fun and great price for the cenotes, ATVs, and food. An all day experience for friends, family, and you don't have to know how to swim.
It was so nice, the view was amazing and the guide was really sweet!
Over crowded, pushy sellers, expensive food and drinks on site, rude staff. Don't go here if you want to see cenotes. It's just a money spinner for the owners.
Pretty cool experience. Would go again. Great guide.
Very nice. The tour guide was extremely helpful and kind as well. We had a great time jumping in the cenotes.
Exploring the four cenotes was an incredible experience. Our guide was friendly, relaxed, and made the tour even more enjoyable with great conversation. We booked through Tripadvisor and were surprised to find that the on-site price was much higher. The excursion is suitable for those comfortable in enclosed spaces (particularly one cave cenote), and the whole environment is beautifully maintained. We truly loved every moment.
Great experience for just 350 mxn ! Cecy was a wonderful guide and we love his humor. Don’t forget to leave a tip, they deserve it. Keep in mind that if you pay on site it will be 700 mxn. So you can save money buying here at 350 mxn.
My partner and I had an incredible time! Luis was a great guide. He was fun, sincere and thorough in his translations between English and Spanish!
It was an extraordinary experience, being able to swim peacefully and observe the turtles without touching them. It was beautiful to admire nature up close without disturbing it. Wonderful. The guides were very friendly and constantly kept us informed and concerned about our safety and making sure we enjoyed the moment.
Amazing experience. Our tour guide was 10/10. Beautiful place! I only took a few photos and didn’t bring it into the cenotes. I recommend bringing goggles or a snorkel to see the tropical fish. Water shoes highly recommended. Some parts are very deep; if you bring your phone I would make sure it’s tethered to you. Guide spoke both English and Spanish.
I would 10/10 recommend this experience. My wife and I and 3 kids (10, 8, 6) enjoyed every minute of it. We arrived early (just after 9am) on a Thursday, and were placed in a group with 4 other people. When we were done, (11am) they were arranging multiple groups of 30-40 people, so I imagine this would begin to feel A LOT more crowded, especially if people stayed after their tours to continue to swim. I was confused by the messages through Viator of where to pick up vouchers, so just went straight to Casa Tortuga and it turns out they were able to scan the barcode right there and got us set up with wristbands. Check-in was very easy, the staff was helpful and efficient. We had very little wait time before we headed off on the adventure. The 4 Cenotes were beautiful and our tour guide (Hernesto) was fun and kind. He spoke both Spanish and English and explained every part very well. We swam through caves, jumped off ledges and swam with fish. A wonderful way to spend a morning. Things to note: - we brought our own towels (100 pesos for a locker) - lots of food choices at the end. We got hotdogs and hamburgers. At 160 pesos each we thought it was expensive…until they arrived and the burgers were large and loaded and came with fries. - come early and you may get a semi-private experience. Come later and you will likely be in a large group in small Cenotes. - photo packages cost more than the ticket price for the 5 of us. They were willing to negotiate but it was the most expensive part of the trip (photos were optional and they put very little pressure on purchasing, unless you approached the desk and asked. I’ve been to another excursion were they did a lot of pressure into purchasing, this was not the case here). Overall, a great morning adventure for almost any age!
This is an adventure you will be conned into at the tulum airport if you stop at the kiosks right outside of customs. Do not fall for their sales! Their discounted prices come with a timeshare tour that you must spend 90 minutes in (ours toon well over two hours to finish) We then arrived at this cenote after eating half of our day at the Hyatt hotel. It’s little more than a dirty overcrowded pond. We brought our flippers but they were not allowed. Tourist trap. Did not feel welcoming. Would not recommend.
Amazing - 4 beautiful cenotes!!! Did not think I would like the caves but so awesome!! The guides were very informative and welcoming!
Booked for our girls trip! We had the best time!! Most of the other bookings included transportation and we didn’t need it! And it allowed us to pick and choose which activities we wanted to do (Atv, zip lining, etc. for an upcharge of course) as everyone didn’t want to do zip lining or atvs. I recommend doing the private tour it’s like $7 more dollars but you don’t have to worry about the large groups! Carlos was our guide and he was very funny, patient, and kind!
Excellent place to take a tour with your family!
Pleasant experience at the 5 cenotes, we had a great time with the family, it allowed us to enjoy the place and relax. Nothing more than the life jackets are already quite worn out, but the experience was very good
Excellent experience, one of the cenotes in the Riviera, cheap, beautiful, the guide Papi Chulo was top-notch, well explained, it is cheaper on Booking than buying it there.
It was super .Were the only ones who spoke English so he explained little to us.
Lovely place, great guide, fun to spend half a day here
It was a wonderful experience, a very pleasant place to spend the day with the family, suitable to go with minors and disconnect for a day of daily life, I highly recommend this experience, my children were delighted and we hope to return soon to this place to connect with nature and its crystal waters that provide us the cenotes, the attention was very good.
Tourist Trap... A large plot of land in the middle of the jungle... reception and heavy entrance without smile, then a lot of rules, almost forced to hire a guide, a restaurant area full of guides and vendors who want to sell you everything... then the pickup to dirty cenotes or at least maintenance-free, dirty cenotes nothing spectacular, well-broken kayaks... The only "good" was the zip line... And also very expensive... I recommend more Kantuchil Eco Park much better and cheaper
