Wonderful experience. Got to see rats and turtles and a section of the reef. Very flexible as I thought I might be late and German was prepared to allow me on a later trip

Itinerary
Two snorkel spots, one unforgettable morning in the Mexican Caribbean. Your boat leaves from Playa Pescadores, inside Tulum National Park (Jaguar Park), and first glides past the cliffs of the Tulum ruins, where we stop so you can photograph the ancient Mayan city from the sea. Stop 1 – Sea turtle & stingray sanctuary (about 45 minutes): float beside wild sea turtles as they graze on the seagrass and rise for air, while stingrays glide over the sandy bottom. We watch them respectfully: no touching, no feeding. Stop 2 – Tulum coral reef (about 45 minutes): explore a colorful section of the Mesoamerican Reef, full of tropical fish and, often, nurse sharks resting below. Your guide swims with you the whole time, life jackets and snorkel gear in every size are included, and each boat carries a small group, so beginners and families with kids 5+ feel at ease. Feeling tired? We bring you back to the boat at any moment. Departures at 10:00, 12:00 and 14:00. Entry to Jaguar Park is free, and optional electric shuttles can take you to the beach.

Fun experience. We saw multiple turtles and quite a few rays ( I think common stingrays and eagle rays). The crew were very attentive to guests in the water, especially those who are less comfortable in the water. I also thought the onboarding & disrnarkation on the beach was one of the smoother operations I’ve seen. Good crew
Great experience, saw loads of turtles and a ray!!
I was a bit nervous because of the different meeting spots, but I had found my way there. Denpending where you enter from, you would need a shuttle to get to the stop. They send a thorough WhatsApp message about meeting points and specific rules. The staff were very nice and helpful. The tour was an amazing experience for an affordable price! I was hoping to see the animals as stated and grateful that I was able to. The tour guide was fun and we had fun with the animals, too. It was a small crowd for my tour. The duration was a good time. It’s definitely a fun thing to do while you are in Tulum especially duping this season since the beaches are currently not swimmable at the shore.
My family and I had a great time on this excursion. The guides were friendly and very helpful. We saw fish, stingrays, turtles and beautiful coral. I highly recommend.
We had such a wonderful, fun trip! The guides were lovely and warm, and we could really feel that they put their hearts into it. We saw sooo many sea turtles and stingrays! Despite our concerns about the seaweed this time of year, we barely noticed it. It was amazing!
Fantastic experience, we saw turtles, stingrays and lots of marine life. Nicholas and Luiz are awesome too.
Awesome snorkeling experience, made it super easy with lifejackets and was able to see many turtles and a stingray!

Super fun and we saw some cool sea life. Definitely recommend if you are coming to Tulum!
I was the only one who booked and when I arrived I wasn't exactly made to feel welcome. I felt they would rather I hadn't come and they could have the morning off. I get that but in which case, why accept my booking? The guys running the trip didn't even introduce themselves, there were no explanations and I had to ask all the questions. I was charged $50 for a 300ml can of water, when they had a huge 25litre bottle they said was for their personal use...extortion. It was beautiful to see some marine life but the reef is badly damaged and bleached.
Good experience it was fun :) Turtles and stingrays was super cool but the shark was soooo incredible 🙏🏼
The main captain was kind of rude but the other guy was cool. Good value.
This experience was amazing!! Great guides, super friendly and helpful with pointing out the best spots. We saw lots of friendly turtles, hubungus stingrays and even nurse sharks! I highly recommend!!!
It was incredibly beautiful and we got to swim in 2 places. We saw so many fish, turtles, and stingrays. The guides were very nice and told us a lot of history.
Great snorkeling with sea turtles and giant rays! Great excursion!
Amazing experience, very friendly fun activities seeing some beautiful scenery and turtles
Do not go now. We weren’t told that we would have to maneuver thru seaweed to get to the boat. It was treacherous. Ugh Water was too choppy for snorkeling and some of the passengers got seasick and were throwing up. Taxi was able to drop us off a few blocks walk from the beach but we didn’t know about the tram because of that. We walked about half a mile at 1pm, the heat of the day, before someone would pick us up. I almost had a heatstroke. I can’t recommend this tour based on our terrible experience. Sorry
Easy from start to finish and all comms done via WhatsApp. English family of 5! Two site snorkel experience. Manual swam with us and led, kindly towing a ring that our 6 year could hold onto the whole time making it easy for her! What a great guide. We saw Sea turtles, nurse sharks, barracuda, stingray and an eagle ray. A simple beginners experience for our children ages 14, 10 and 6! Highly recommended
I had an amazing experience on this Chichén Itzá tour and highly recommend it! Before the tour even started, the customer service was outstanding. The person managing WhatsApp communication responded incredibly quickly and patiently answered all of my questions. I tend to be a very detailed and demanding client who asks a lot of questions before booking, and they were always helpful, professional, and accommodating. A very special shout-out to our guide, who was truly the best guide I have ever had. His knowledge of Mayan culture, history, astronomy, and the Chichén Itzá pyramid was exceptional. He explained everything in a fascinating and easy-to-understand way, making the entire experience much more meaningful. You could really feel his passion for sharing the history and traditions of the Mayan civilization. The itinerary was excellent. In addition to visiting the incredible Chichén Itzá site, we also stopped at a small Mayan village, which gave us a better understanding of local culture and traditions. We had some free time in the beautiful colonial city of Valladolid, which was a lovely bonus. The buffet lunch exceeded my expectations. There were plenty of options, the food was delicious, and you could eat as much as you wanted. During lunch, we were also treated to a traditional dance performance, which added a special cultural touch to the experience. We also visited a cenote, and it was absolutely breathtaking. Swimming there was one of the highlights of the day and an unforgettable experience. Overall, this tour was well organized, educational, fun, and excellent value for money. Thank you to the entire team, and especially to our guide, for making this such a memorable day!
Sea very rough and murky waters, but then that's nature. When we arrived at the destination ( after 3 taxi drivers communicatong to figure out where it was) it seemed a little off putting as it was just 3 men sat in a beached boat not greeting us etc so quite worried what was happening. Experience at sea very good, no hard sell and knowledgeable.
This was a good experience. We got to swim with turtles and a stingray. The boat crew and operator at the beach were helpful and friendly and stuck to the schedule. The only negative was the boat engines - we were choking on the fumes a little. Overall, well worth the money we paid.
I road a bike from Central Tulum and took the 2pm session . The boat guys were chill, the current was strong. At the first site lots of fish, an enormous lobster the size of a dog, but at the second site was the magic. There were 3 turtles, one medium, 2 smaller and they were not shy. There were a couple of decent sized rays all hanging out with the turtles like old friends. They hung out the whole time, it was a joy. The sargassum was closer to the shore. We still encountered it, but were mostly clear of it near the reef. The visibility was so-so, but obviously we could see what we came for. The boat guys knew were to go for sure.
Booked our snorkel trip with them via Viator. The reviews were great on there and we felt the same way after experiencing it ourselves. Slightly tough spot to find but they provide extremely detailed instructions once you book. Be sure to read and digest it all and make your plan with all of what they share in mind. We were lucky to have gone out with just 2 other people, so it was a very personal experience. They take you by the Tulum ruins and show it to you from the water, and will take pictures of you in front of them. Then they take you to two snorkel spots. The second spot was amazing, lots of fish, a turtle or two, stingrays, and small sharks. Very much worth the money, would highly recommend! Side note: pictures show a lot of seaweed on the beach, it was all over the place but the guides helped us make the best of it. Was much more sparse when we went out into the water than near the shore. There’s always a lot more of it this time of the year.

Amazing value for money. The tour guides were amazing and they promised turtles and delivered. We had to change dates because my daughter was sick and they were so accommodating. We had THE BEST time! They were so lovely and made us feel safe also. Highly recommended
For the level of service we received the cost was very cheap. People were clean while organized friendly and the trip was fun.
Jairo and Luis helped to make this an unforgettable excursion experience. They were knowledgable and friendly. The locations that we they brought us to snorkel were perfect. Highly recommend.
We biked to Jaguar Park. It was very easy to find them but it’s good to known that once you enter the park, you can take an electric bus and ask for Playa Pescadores (we biked there as well). You can walk to it but it’s a long walk. Once you get to that spot, per the instructions of Tulum Snorkel Svcs, you look for module D which is by the beach. Overall, the experience was very fun. Because of the time of year we went, the water was choppy and a little churned up so visibility wasn’t great. But our two guides did their best to make the outing worthwhile and we did see turtles and the reef. And they made sure we were always okay out in the water.
We had an amazing snorkeling tour in Tulum! The water was clear, the reef was beautiful, and we saw plenty of colorful fish and even sea turtles. The guides were friendly, professional, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. A fun and memorable experience that perfectly showcases the beauty of Tulum’s coastline. Highly recommended!
The snorkeling tour organized by German gave us an unforgettable experience. Above all, because they took us to the most beautiful and hidden spots, where within just a few minutes from the shore we were able to see several sea turtles and stingrays. The turtles were swimming just about a meter away from us. It was truly an unforgettable experience. I can only recommend it to everyone. And on top of that, they continued to support us with everything even afterward. Thank you German! Thank you! The next time we come back, we’ll definitely visit you and the turtles again. 😊
German gave me quick support on directions to get to the Snorkeling activity. The Snorkeling itself was something I'll never forget. It was very beautiful. And he taught us about the history of the ruinas and among other things. Thank you for giving us a special day!
Fantastic tour - we did see Sting Rays and Turtles on the 10:00 tour. After running late the guide waited which was very kind Things to know: A) there is a 30 minute walk to the snorkeling place (unless you want to 350 pesos each for the shuttle service B) you will have to walk through seaweed to get to the boat. There are no shoes allowed on the boat - so bare this in mind, it was perfectly fine C) our tour guide was very safe and supportive but it can get busy on the water - watch out for other boats
As expected. The crew was very nice. This was a quick trip out to the coral reefs. Beautiful weather to do so.
We had a wonderful snorkeling trip! The views of the ruins were amazing - but even better was swimming with sea turtles and sting rays.
The workers were very hospitable. The flippers were light and easy to put on. We saw a lot of turtles, stingray, and fish. I would definitely recommend for anyone traveling to Tulum.
A good snorkeling experience for all, easy to go at your own pace. Our guide Manuel was awesome at finding wildlife and buried treasures of the sea for us to admire and th trip didn’t feel rushed.
I came here for my birthday as I love wildlife and wanted to be around some nature. This is the perfect day out for just that! The experience was amazing and I didn’t expect to get so close to these amazing creatures. Our tour guide was really helpful, very friendly and laid back. He informed us really well before entering the water and then left us to explore ourselves for 45 minutes in each section which was amazing. It’s not too long of a day out in the heat but you cover so much in a short time. For the price this is an amazing day out, I would recommend. Just be aware you will have to pay an extra 305 pesos each to enter the parque de jaguar, which is fine and maybe I didn’t read the small print! But can be annoying if you are not expecting, but still worth it as you can stay on the beach all day, explore the park and even the ruins if you want to pay a little extra. All in all, this experience was amazing and I’m glad I got to spend my birthday this way! I would 100% recommend☺️
This experience was truly one of a lifetime! We did the two hour snorkeling tour which included a stop above a coral reef and a stop where in the turtle area. The coral reef was beautiful to see and included a huge range in sea creature life. From there we went to see the turtles, and it was absolutely breath taking. There were not only sea turtles swimming amongst us, but also manta rays that would come in and out of the area so gracefully. The staff were incredibly helpful in getting settled in the gear and telling us what to look for. The area was a little more crowded in the turtle zone, but when you were snorkeling you didn’t even notice. A life jacket is provided, but the water was a little choppy, so best for people that are comfortable swimming. This was completely worth every penny!
Great guides and we saw lots of turtles
A buddy and I did this Snorkel Tour last minute and it was even better than expected! This was better than a tour we did in Akumal. Highly recommended. We had lots of time in the water. Saw rays, turtles, lots of fish, and even lobster. I would say this is a must do if in Tulum. When I return to Tulum, I will be back. Also, its easy to find the start, just go to Playa Pescadores (Inside Jaguar Park). Look for a guy at a little desk on the left in front of the restaurant. Junior es muy bien!!
Junior and the rest of the crew were amazing! Highly recommend! All gear provided including fins. Saw turtles, rays, lobster and lots of fish. Highly recommend!!! Must do!!!
The staff are talented and friendly! This review is more about the snorkeling itself. The snorkels provided leaked badly, and because the snorkeling location is not in the warm shallows but much further out in cold, rough waters, the waves kept pushing lots of sea water into the snorkel. It was difficult to see as the visibility is not great, and if you are expecting vibrant colorful reefs this is not it. The reef is black and there was very little color and not that many fish. We did see a sea turtle and a stingray but because it is out in open waters and you are defaulted to wear a life jacket it is very hard to just stay still and enjoy. It was very rough and my husband and I both got seasick (we have both worked on boats before, so we had never had that happen) and then later sick from all of the sea water. I would only recommend this tour for advanced snorkelers who bring their own gear and who are looking for a non-traditional reef.
Mucho Tortuga excellente !!! Mui Bien , very nice crew and great location, abundant wildlife and modern equipment
A highlight of our 3 week holiday. Swam with turtles, sting rays and other fish, less than 10cm away. Pelican's flying/swimming nearby. The guides were great. Just the right amount of time. We went at 10am so I have no idea what it's like at other times of the day. The sun is strong and you snorkel with a life jacket. The back of my arms and lower back got slightly burned so may be worth wearing your worst t-shirt as sun protection.
Captain and skipper were both great! Fantastic attitude about helping tourist see the beauty of tulum!
The snorkeling was just as described— we swam up close with sea turtles, schools of fish, sting rays and interesting sea life. Be aware that this is inside Parque de Jaguars - which charges an entrance fee of about $22 USD (free on Sundays). No plastic or glass is allowed. Recommend taking a taxi to the south entrance of the Parque and visiting Tulum ruins and other attractions first (see website). The meeting point is at a restaurant where you can buy canned water, shower, change, eat afterwards. I recommend staying in texting contact with Tulum Snorkling Services— German was very responsive and helped me find it via text. The two staff on the boat were competent, kind and helpful. The boat has a sun shade over it. I needed a lot of help! He even held my hand in the water at first, and swam be toward the turtles, which I appreciated. Plan to arrive 45 minutes early in case you get lost like I did! It’s a nice beach to hang out on while you wait.
Wonderful. Beautiful reef and view at stop one, and plenty of amazing animals at stop two. The turtles are very curious and come up to you at times. The Mayan ruins explanations by our guides were informative and interesting. Highly suggest.
It was a great experience, we snorkeled for about 2hrs and got a nice “tour” of the Tulum ruins from the ocean; park access to public beach is free but you have to walk to playa paraíso (about 1 mile or 1.5km from the main entrance to Tulum’s national park). Overall a great experience the boat guys were nice and attentive.
Really enjoyed the trip. No frills, but no hassle either. Guides were knowledgeable, told us about the reefs, turtles, rays, and fish. Took us to three spots. First spot was a view of Tulum ruins from the water. Saw a bunch of turtles at second spot. Third spot was more of a reef exploration. Would recommend!
