The Waves Tulum

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The place is beautiful, comfortable, and very high quality, and I really felt it was worth the price. The service was good and the overall experience was excellent. The only small downside is the location, which is not the most convenient, but other than that everything was perfect. Highly recommended!

The waves at Tulum were a great experience, with a warm, professional staff always willing to help and accommodate any questions, concerns, or issues we had. The atmosphere was great and calm with it staff always keeping it clean.

This was a horrible experience. They do not have good business practices at this establishment. I booked my stay through expedia but when i get to the property, they did not honor my reservation. They told me that they do not do business with expedia any longer and i had to pay them at the property if i wanted a room. They also told me that i was responsible for getting a refund from expedia. Rooms are not very clean. Horrible area in the slums. Broken toliets. Stray dogs barking all night. Bad plumbing. Not like pictures.

Rating: 4/5 I stayed at The Waves Tulum and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel has a nice atmosphere and a lot of potential, and there are several things that made the stay enjoyable. One of the best aspects of the hotel is the staff. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly, polite, and welcoming. The team always tried to help when needed and created a comfortable and relaxed environment for guests. Good service like this really makes a difference during a stay. The hotel itself has a beautiful design and a modern style that fits very well with the overall vibe of Tulum. The rooms and common areas are nicely designed and give the place a stylish and relaxing feel. However, there are a few areas where improvements could be made. The pool areas are a great idea and look very nice, but during my stay some of the pools were not as clean as expected. At times they looked a bit dirty, which made them less inviting to use. With better and more consistent cleaning, the pool areas could easily become one of the highlights of the hotel. Overall, I still had a good stay at The Waves Tulum. The friendly staff and the beautiful design of the hotel make it a pleasant place to stay. With a bit more attention to the cleanliness of the pools, the hotel could easily provide an even better experience for guests. I would consider staying here again in the future.
