Layla Tulum - Adults Only

My friend and I stayed here for 5 nights in two of the upper rooms and loved it. We were there in the off season, which was HOT but so great bc Tulum was not too crowded. The location is central and only a 3 min walk to the best restaurants downtown. The beds are super comfy and the amenities perfect. We had breakfast and sunset cocktails at the roof top bar and the food was great (lunch is also delicious). The staff is lovely, very friendly and obviously dedicated and hard working (tips are well deserved!). A special shout out to Juan Carlos and Marco at the bar and Kat at Reception, super friendly and helpful. I HIGHLY reccommend this lovely hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay at Layla. The room was amazing, super clean and VERY comfortable bed. Our host Cat was so helpful, she gave us lots of recommendations and made sure our stay was everything we wanted and so much more. The breakfast was delicious. The location is great - close to lots of restaurants and bars. We also hired bikes to cycle down the beach which was fab as well. Would 100% recommend staying here. We would choose to stay here again when we return to Tulum.

First and foremost, I would like to thank the wonderful front desk staff (Catalina, Anais). These ladies are exceptional and professional. They made us feel at home. The breakfast was exceptional and delicious. The kitchen staff was prompt and courteous as well. As for the bar servers on the rooftop, the service was phenomenal. I particularly enjoyed speaking with Marco, who served most of our dinners and cocktail drinks. The pool area upstairs (rooftop) is truly magical, and the view at night is very romantic. I truly miss the spending time by the pool. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Layla Boutique Hotel very much, and we hope to return soon. Paola, the property manager, is a gem, and she assisted us well when we encountered a minor hiccup during our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel in Tulum. I stayed here for a week. I loved the accessibility to the restaurants and bars in Tulum but still being a little off the main road so it was quiet. The rooms are very clean and the service was excellent. The hotel has a Moroccan design esthetic and the rooftop bar and restaurant (and pool) is a beautiful place to relax. Cat, at the front desk, was very helpful with activity and restaurant recommendations. I recommend if you want the Tulum town experience vs the beach experience.
