Simply the best. Rooms with plunge pools on the beach. One of the best sports bars with amazing atmosphere. We watched football in the pool one day and comfy couches the next night. Walter the bartender was a true gem. We wanted to take him home with us. We will be back for sure.
We had such a wonderful experience at La Zebra! The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. What really made our visit special was the outstanding service from Cristian and William. They were both incredibly attentive, friendly, and welcoming and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. Great food, beautiful atmosphere, and exceptional service. Cristian and William truly made the experience memorable. We’ll definitely be back!
Beautiful room, exceptionally clean, and above all, outstanding service. Every single staff member was incredibly kind and attentive. They even brought tea and cookies to our room around sunset every day, and the à la carte breakfast was excellent. We also really appreciated that they regularly used smoke around the restaurant in the evenings to keep mosquitoes away. The hotel organized a taxi for us to the Cobá ruins and back, which worked perfectly and is highly recommended! There were quite a lot of mosquitoes when we checked in around dusk, and unfortunately there was sargassum on the beach, meaning many hotels and restaurants nearby seemed deserted. On the bright side, we practically had the beach to ourselves, which was lovely for long walks. Overall, a beautiful stay with truly exceptional hospitality - by far the best hotel we had during our trip!
Watching a big World Cup match at La Zebra is an experience that we won't forget. It’s rare to find a place that balances big sports events with that perfect, laid-back Tulum beach vibe, but they nail it. The oversized television screens are great and the televisions in and around the pool are even better but the real magic is the atmosphere. A full house inside and out and we were very comfortable. Even with the crowd buzzing, the service felt personal and the staff made sure we were taken care of the whole time. A special shout out to Walter who was our waiter who took super good care of us. It’s easily my favorite spot in the area to catch a game; it feels less like a typical sports bar and more like a celebration. If you’re in Tulum and want to catch the action, this is definitely the place to be.
Thank you, La Zebra, for such an amazing stay, even if it was way too short! From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. The check in process was smooth and welcoming, and to top it off, we were upgraded to an ocean view room with welcome drinks. Waking up to that view was definitely a highlight! The room was spotless, honestly one of the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in. It was beautifully decorated, felt cozy and luxurious at the same time, and even smelled incredible the moment we walked in. We also enjoyed both lunch and dinner at the restaurant, and every meal was fantastic. You could tell the chef put real care and attention into each dish. The food was fresh a d delicious.
